Dr. Karim Sarhane studied biology at the American University of Beirut and earned his MD from the same institution four years later. In 2011, Karim Sarhane, MD pursued a Master of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Genetics at the same institution for one year. After earning his MSc degree, he became a post-doctoral research fellow at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine's Department of Plastic Surgery. He then completed a one-year general surgery internship at the University of Toledo Medical Center and a six-year general surgery residency at the same institution.
