Graduate student Saree Kayne expects to complete her doctoral degree in cultural anthropology from Stanford University in 2017. Her research focuses on the organizational culture of the International Olympic Committee, especially as it influences the presentation of the Summer and Winter Olympic Games. In addition to her studies, Saree Kayne serves on the board of directors of the family-operated Kayne Foundation, which gives to educational initiatives and schools in the Los Angeles area. She also donates her time to programs such as Prison of Peace and A New Way of Life, which assist women who are in prison or who are adjusting to life after release from incarceration.
