A longtime crusader for transportation safety, Ms. Dillard promoted the importance of wearing helmets during her 2008 Miss Texas pageant campaign. As a candidate for Miss Texas America in 2011, she emphasized the value of a healthy lifestyle. Most recently, Kelly Dillard was featured on an episode of Anderson Cooper’s television program dealing with the dangers of cyberbullying. In addition to her important work highlighting social issues, Kelly Dillard is committed to giving back to the community.
