As the Vice President and General Manager of Eastern Canada Operations for Cliffs Natural Resources, Inc., Jeffrey Lipovetz maintains the operations of Cliffs Quebec Mining and Wabush Mines. Responsible for mine engineering and operations, health and safety, railroad and dock functions, environmental interfaces, pelletizing and concentrating operations, and other essential mine functions, Jeffrey Lipovetz oversees the work of approximately 1,000 people. Also responsible for profit and loss in the Eastern Canadian area, Jeffrey Lipovetz maintains through his leadership a production of 13 million tons of iron concentrate per year.
