About
My main research interests are how to open up educational resources, using open licenses such as Creative Commons, and peer-production of knowledge and learning, such as Wikipedia or WikiEducator.
I am especially interested in how knowledge production happens across linguistic borders, and am interested in promoting more exchanges between developing countries and the developed countries. I work on Open Access to Scholarly Publications, and I am also one of the founders of Peer2Peer University (http://p2pu.org), a design-research project in fostering collaborative learning around OER.
