Father Elias Lorenzo is an ordained priest and monk in the Order of Saint Benedict. He spent two decades as an educator at the Delbarton School, a college preparatory academy, and St. Mary’s Abbey in Morristown, New Jersey. As a teacher and administrator at Delbarton, Father Elias Lorenzo was the director of the campus ministry, the chairman of the religious studies department, a member of the board of trustees, and the vice president for external affairs. During this time he was also a member of the Abbey liturgy committee, director of liturgy at Saint Mary’s Abbey, prior of Saint Mary’s Abbey, and rector of Abbey Church.
