Since 2005, health care investment pioneer Dr. Mitchell Blutt has served as the CEO of Consonance Capital. The firm consists of a health care-focused hedge fund and a health care private equity fund. Prior to founding Consonance, Dr. Blutt established himself as one of the first physicians to become prominent on Wall Street. With three college degrees, a Master of Business Administration, a Bachelor of Arts in Psychobiology, and a Doctor of Medicine, he began an 18-year career with JP Morgan Partners (JPMP) in 1987. Mitchell Blutt implemented and directed the firm’s health care group and also served as Executive Partner from 1992 to 2004.
