A worldwide photographer who is deeply aware of the transformative power of international travel, Joann McPike has dedicated her recent efforts to ensuring that young people have the opportunity to experience the world. In service of this mission, McPike founded THINK Global School, an innovative educational institution that brings high school students to international cultural centers and capital cities including Cuenca, Ecuador; Berlin; Chiang Mai, Thailand; and Beijing. Since its inception in 2010, students at Joann McPike’s exploratory school have benefited from its foundational pillars of humility, compassion, knowledge, and tolerance.
