Since 2002, Clint Groom has served as senior design director at American Eagle Outfitters in New York City. In this role, he maintains responsibility for the design of men’s pants, denim, and shorts. One of his accomplishments at American Eagle Outfitters was the creation of the Flex Design concept, which incorporates high-stretch fabric into men’s denim. As the creator of this industry-changing concept, Clint Groom remains actively involved in the design and engineering of the fabric before it becomes a tangible product.
