Interested in helping new learners move from informal to formal learning, and in particular supporting those with little or no access to traditional formal educational. I am accountable for the free/open educational media strategy at The Open University (UK) and I lead The Open Media Unit - which delivers the free educational service. This service includes national and international TV and radio broadcasts with the BBC, as well as OpenLearn, YouTube, iTunes U, and FutureLearn activities.
