3. Abstract
As the name specifies “HOSTEL MANAGEMENT
SYSTEM” is a online application developed for
managing various activities of the hostel.
This particular project deals with the problem on
managing the hostel and avoid the problems which
occur when carried manually.
We can improve the efficiency of the system, thus
overcome the drawbacks of the existing system.

The existing system is a manually maintained system.
All the hostel records are to be maintained for the details
of each student, Fees details, Room Allocation,
Attendance etc.
All these details are entered and retrieved manually(On
Paper Work).
