3. Introduction
Night time requirement of head light.
Head lights are controlled manually.
High beam causes Troxler effect.
It leads to dangerous accidents.
This prototype helps in automatic controlling of head light
according to requirements.
4. Troxler Effect
Toxler- Image glare appear even after the source is
removed.
Temporary Blindness
Fading effect
Around 10,000 lumens, glare is experienced.
Glare is due to over exposure of cones and rods in our eyes.
8. Operation Principle
Basic operator - Comparator
LDR – Variable Resistor.
LDR & 2 resistor form a potential divider network.
It decides the current in the circuit.
Transistor Gate/Base are triggered
Relay is connected to the transistor
9. Contd…
LED1-high beam bulb
LED2-low beam bulb
Light falls on LDR potential drop occurs between LDR
and R2
Transistors gets conduction mode and relay switch ON.
LED 1 gets turned ON and LED 2 gets turned OFF.
Thus the other vehicle comes closer the intensity get
altered.
10.
11. Circuit Working
Same as like that of the Prototype model.
12 V Dc supply required.
LDR is stimulated by exposed by light by another source.
Voltage drop occurs
Automatically light intensity varies.
13. Implementation
Keep away from dust,water,etc.
Supply should be constant
System should be at low beam instantly.
As light falls LDR initiated and headlight back to orginal
form.
Headlight’s is distinct in nature.
Device is highly directional

15. Advanced Prototype
Audi Matrix – LED Headlight
BMW Intelligent Headlight Technology
Mercedes Benz Intelligent LED Light System
16. Conclusion
Glare gives serious problem for drivers.
Sudden exposure of light.
Leads to Troxler effect
Temporary blindness.
It is adjusted manually.
Hence this prototype is more compact
It gives automatic light dimmer
