2. The side facing the sun has light
which means the side with the
light is in the middle of having
daytime and so, the other is
having night time. It takes 24
hours for the earth to fully
rotate it’s whole way around. It
takes a year (52 weeks) to
rotate it’s way around the sun.

3. The sun IS a star but it
isn’t actually the biggest
one! There are larger
ones! The other planets
are either to hot or cold
for humans to live on
but earth is at the right
place for humans to
survive!

4. The sun’s
temperature is
10,000 Fahrenheit.
The sun is much
bigger than earth.
Sometimes the
earth rotates
slightly and that is
how we get
seasons.

5. Earth is the 3rd
planet from the
sun. it is the only
planet known to
contain life. 70% of
earth’s surface is
covered in water.
