In today s society people are judged primarily on their looks and the amount of money that they
have. As we take a look into the short story, Wild Plums , one can agree that the primary purpose
of this short story is to illustrate how people believe they are inferior to others because of the way

On How My Travel Experiences Changed My Views of Life
I thought I would discuss my travel experiences and how it has changed my views of life. I have
been to the Caribbean many times, for example, Cuba, Mexico, The Dominican Republic, St.
Maarten to name a few. I have also backpacked through Thailand and would like to discuss what I
have learned from a few of these countries and how these experiences have affected my perspective.
Travelling to Cuba for the first time was amazing. Having only travelled to Mexico once before
my first trip to Cuba I noticed a contrast in cultures even though my assumption was they would
be similar because they are both Spanish speaking. My first trip to Varadero was over 12 years
ago. I was informed that the locals valued tips of crayons, toothbrushes, razors, and toiletries, but
I was unsure why. I later realized it was because of the embargos, they had no, or very limited
access to, these items and many more. I remember going into Havana and while taking in the
breathtaking sights, being followed by many locals who were rubbing their arms. I had no idea
what was going on and was later informed that they were asking for soap. SOAP! I thought to
myself, not money or food, but soap? Something I had taken for granted my whole life. In my
many discussions with the locals I learned they were very educated, most of whom were doctors
and environmental or corporate lawyers. Education is free in Cuba and homes are also provided

as the proxy for Nepalese economic growth. Some attention is necessary while employing FMOLS
test. The variables under study must be cointegrated. So before applying the FMOLS we examine
the cointegration by method of Johansen s (1990) cointegration test. Prior to employing the
Johansen s Cointegration test we perform unit root test using ADF method. FMOLS method was
designed by Phillips and Hansen (1990) to estimate the cointegrating regressions. This method

preforms a very specific function in the creation of a new DNA strand. First helicase works by

Transcription is the formation of an RNA strand from a DNA template within the nucleus of a
cell. There are four nucleotides of DNA. These are adenine, cytosine, guanine and thymine.
These nucleotides are transcribed to form messenger ribonucleic acid (mRNA) consisting of
nucleotides made of adenine, cytosine, guanine and uracil. This transcription from DNA to
mRNA happens by an RNA polymerase II. This newly created mRNA is read in the 5 to 3
direction in sets of 3. These sets are called codons. Each mRNA also has a cap and end. On the 5
prime side is a methylated guanine triphosphate and on the 3 prime is a poly A tail. Messenger
RNA then moves to the cells cytoplasm and through the cells ribosomes for translation. Messenger
RNA is matched to molecules of transfer RNA (tRNA) in the ribosomes to create amino acids.
These amino acids subsequently form an amino acid chain. (Osuri, 2003) A visual representation of

discovered unusual occurrences and objects on his property. Some of the things he discovered

passionate people on both sides of the fence. Unfortunately, a heated discussion on abortion can

Abortion is the unnatural termination of a pregnancy by killing (at least) one human fetus. This
definition is not contested, and I think it seems clear that it is correct. Science confirms that life
begins at conception,3 and that this life is human is a scientific as well as logical necessity, because
it is the product of two humans, and humans can only produce humans. Ergo, the fetus involved is
human. Secondly, the fetus is, at least scientifically speaking, a singular and individual organism, as
evidenced by his own unique genetic make up, which he shares with no other human being on earth
(unless he have an identical twin). There is thus an essential difference between a human fetus and,
say, a tumor or similar parasite. Finally, that the fetus is alive is confirmed through empirical
observation, and hence forcing that life to come to an end involves at least some sort of killing.
Therefore, the unavoidable conclusion is that abortion deliberately and forcibly puts to death a
human being. Again, this definition is uncontested and thus I shall not dwell on it any further.

In the first play Agamemnon by Aeschylus, we are introduced to a female character named
Cassandra. Even though her part is approximately 260 lines, it delivers such an important dramatic
purpose. Her scene begins when she enters riding in a chariot alongside King Agamemnon, they are

While Cassandra was in Troy, she had visions of what was going to happen to the City and this

Tragic Heroism in Antigone In Greek Literature, there are three types of genres in stories. Those
