court case. These people are meant to make a verdict on whether the defendant is
guilty or innocent fairly, but a lot of times, this is not the case. Any team of juries or

jury racism is the case of Julius Ruffin. Julius Ruffin was an African American man
who was charged with raping a young nurse (4). The nurse was attacked and raped

nurse (4). The nurse called the police and said he was the attacker after she saw

Despite its beginnings as a logistical nightmare for the aircrews and aviators, the
Berlin Airlift was effective in the role of containing the spread of communism into
Berlin, while ensuring the survival of capitalism for its millions of citizens.
After the conclusion of World War II, the city of Berlinwas divided into two
sections: East and West Berlin. The western section was divided between the three
allies while the eastern portion was under Soviet control. Western Berlin had become
a small hold on capitalism in a sea of Marxist communism. On 24 June 1948, the
Soviet Union cut off all ground routes into the western portion of Berlin. This left
approximately 2.5 million Berlin citizens without the United States supplies they had
been receiving. It would also leave the roughly 6,500 western troops without ground
level support, surrounded by 16,000 soviets (Owens 70).
The United States had only a few options available. They could attempt to resolve
this diplomatically, but that could take more time than was available. Moreover, a
military pullout from Berlin could lead to discrediting the United States and leave

military governor of Berlin at the time was General Lucas Clay. General Clay knew
that going by ground was not an option, so he began the Berlin Airlift of his own

The airlift began with thirty C 47 aircraft, and per his request, General Lemay
hastily received four squadrons of C 54 s (Olsen 92). As mentioned earlier, the

perform the tasks required of them, meaning they were trained well and were well
informed. One of the employees was a shift supervisor and the other a regular
employee, I believe that there was disagreement in whether there was performance
monitoring because the regular employee always feels that whatever he or she does
is being monitored. What I found strange was that the question if the supervisor was
present during the task was marked NO for both of the employees. I would have
assumed that the regular employee would have marked yes but I can only assume
that they believed the question meant the manager the person who supervises every

If I were to intervene on employees not giving customer greetings I would make it so
that the door would have a sound when opened. Like what some stores have that

Environmental Conservation in Tampa Bay
Give a hoot, don t pollute! This slogan was popular in the 1970 s when a cute
animated owl named Woodsy the Owl was introduced on television in a public
service announcement by the U. S. Forestry service in an antilitter campaign. Don t
be a dirty bird was an additional slogan associated with this cute character to grab the
attention of children as well as adults, to inform the public to not litter. Taught from
an early age the importance of a clean environment, it has been a goal throughout my
life to protect natural resources, and the importance of protecting the environment has
been taught to my child as well. The basic principles of conservation of the
environment are simple: protect the air, land, and water resources. Conservation
refers to actions that aim to protect natural environments from present and future
change. For example, nature conservancies purchase land that is deemed to be at risk
in order to prevent exploitation of the area for residential, industrial, or agricultural
development ( Conservation, 2009). Environmental conservation in the TampaBay
area carries a great importance because of our natural resources with estuaries for
wildlife and the aquifer, which supplies clean water to residents in the area. Tampa
Bay residents interested in environmental conservation, have access to a variety of

Advantages And Disadvantages Of Bio Composite
Through research about composite and bio composite, there are many advantage and
disadvantages in aircraft construction. Definition for composite, a material that are
made from two or more constituent materials with significantly different physical or
chemical properties when combined, produce a material with characteristic different
from the individual components. The individual components remain separate and

World War, some composites saw operational use including the Mistel, the larger
unmanned component of a composite aircraft configuration developed in Germany at
the end of World War 2. Experiments continued into the jet age, with large aircraft
carrying fully capable parasite fighters or reconnaissance drones.
