3rd Period Abstract The Monroe Doctrine had a great impact due to its strict policy towards the
European powers. It wanted to keep the U.S. trade safe from European powers and colonization.
Without this important doctrine/document the Europeans would have most likely colonized, interfered
with, and disrupted the western hemisphere and also the trade systems connected with them. The U.S.
also would not be a balanced nation and have a balanced foreign policy without the Monroe Doctrine,
which was also known as the back bone of the U.S. foreign policy.
The History of the Monroe Doctrine of 1823 In this essay I will be explaining to you all on how the
Monroe Doctrine came to be, who the document was authored by and how they gained the inspiration
and where he got his ideas for this document from. I will explain what nations were affected by the
policies of the Doctrine which I will explain in a little bit. I will explain how this document helped the
Mexican President Juarez in successfully revolting against the Emperor Maximillian of the French. I
will also cover how the British affected the document and also how President Roosevelt wanted to
extend the Doctrine with his Roosevelt Corollary.

ntroduction
During the 12th and 13th century, a survey was conducted on tradition, custom and law under the
common law system of England. This survey originally developed as court decisions. In England, the
equity laws are developed after the creation of the common law. The analysis based on development
of justice and is now used in the royal courts. This gives us the story of the 1066 when the England
was attacked and concluded that there is no common law system, but the local court system. It is
called the power of traditional dishes such as Shires and counties. The foundations of the common law
have known in public as customary law. In this assignment, author will describe the development of

During the conquest in 1066, William applied old legal customs in generalizing to the entire kingdom.
It was the origin of the Common Law; the essential characteristic was that it was rooted deeply in
Roman law to be based on the customs and practices from medieval traditions. These customs are still
mainly oral; procedures are carried out by royal courts who judge case leaving significant room for
interpretation. Gradually, the common law is insufficient and ineffective for a number of disputes.

Children were picked to work in factories because they were very small, they could fit into spaces that
adults could not. Children were put into horrible work conditions. Kids had to crawl on the floor and
pick up all the garbage around and under the machines. If the kids were not careful enough they could

Jane Addams wanted the mind of women to be valued and mirrored through the actions of individuals
seeking to use emotions of empathy and feeling of duty rather than self interest. She joined the
growing pool of criticism of Social Darwinism not because of its scientific weaknesses, but rather due
to its center principal of anti morality. She refused to accept its masculine ideals of physical

Journal 1 Dates: the week of 1/16 Location: FBLC Time: None this week Though I was not at the First
Baptist Leaning Center (FBLC) my first week, I ll still write this week s reflection to give you an
overview of that week and the format of my journals. Starting at FBLC was a slow process. This way
primarily due to me being unable to produce a copy of my background check. Overall it turned out to
be a lesson in accessing my resources. The dean s office was a much quicker resource than trying to
pull my records from the CDC. Kristy was helpful, but she just didn t have the means to provide me

I want to talk some about Thompson, the primary teacher I am working. I have had a hard time
forming an opinion of Thompson. She is in her mid thirties, un married and has taught at FBLC for

Elenchus, as a famous Socratic method for education, uses dialogue and questions to approach
philosophical truths. The method is presented in both Plato s the Euthyphro and Aristophanes s the
Clouds. However, Socrates s personal image and characteristics, as well as the nature of his
questioning differ a lot in these two works. While the Euthyphro presents a philosopher king guiding
the less wise people in discovery of truths, Socrates in the Clouds has little interest in either exploring
the ethical truth or helping others get out of Plato s cave . Instead, he is portrayed as a sophist who
corrupts people with mysterious and useless knowledge, ignores traditional Athenian education, and
debilitates Athenian men. Compared to Plato s focus on Socrates s wisdom reflected in the dialogue,
the Clouds is a distorted interpretation of Socrates s elenchus. Rather than justifiably criticizing
Socrates, Aristophanes depicts him from a common Athenian s perspective. It is this misunderstanding
of the value of Socrates s teaching by Athenian citizens that constitutes the failure of elenchus in both

My Experience In My Summer
I can not wait to learn new things in your class this year. I am ready to read lots of new books and
some Shakespeare because I have not read a lot of his work before. I had a great summer full of

Overall Las Vegas was probably the best part of my summer and I am lucky to have an amazing
family to enjoy it with. Other than the two trips I went on this summer, I did not do a lot because my
parents were busy with work and my sister was busy with summer classes. I was busy every morning
for football though because we had to be at Braden River every morning at 7:30. The only good part
about waking up early was that when I was done I still had most of the day to go fishing or do
anything. Workouts really help out at the beginning of the season though because it makes us ready
and strong for the whole season. Besides having football every morning, I went fishing a lot over the
summer in lakes around my neighborhood. I at least caught around 30 bass this summer because I was
mostly fishing this summer when I had nothing else to do. The only boring thing I had to do this
summer was taking drivers ed online, so I am prepared to take my permit test when I turn 15. The

went by fast was because time flys when your having fun. With all the fun happening this year my dog
probably had the least amount of fun because while we were on vacation he was at the vet. I have a
