Nurture the reason it has the most influence on a humans up bringing Humans are programmed to
carry out physical,mental and emotional developments, but what has the most influence on a human
upbringing and what shapes humans behaviour? Is is nurture which is the environment that we are
raised/socialization and our culture. Nurture the positive encouragement, from a parent or caregiver
towards the physical, mental and behavioural development of a individual. Or is nature your
biological factor/genes that a human obtain from their mother and father. As we go through life we go
through different developmental stages from infancy, adolescence/teenager through to adulthood.
Humans depend on the nurturing from our caregivers, and social groups to help us achieve our
developmental stages successfully, and contributes to a human behaviour. This why i feel that
nurturing has the most influence on a humans upbringing. Humans depend on the nurturing from
parents/caregivers to teach them independence, confidence, to have good self esteem and positive
behaviour. Humans learn through experience by what we see, hear and are taught though our culture
and our environment. Not every human in the world are raised the same, this makes everyone develop
and behave in different ways.. Not one human is the same. Nurturing help influence humans and the

Upon opening the book, and beginning to read the first chapter, it felt as though the author was
introducing me to the book as if in real life. The author spoke as if he wasn t telling the story, but
instead preparing you for the story. The fact of the matter, is that he was doing both. Calvino was
preparing the reader for the first story of the book by listing the best ways to read a book by removing

This is quite mis leading at the time because we presume that what we are reading is actually the
words that have been written by the author, but is in fact the perspective of the reader reading the book
and taking an active role in the book. However, this is not so much noticeable in this first story as it
does read like a normal book. As the book progresses we begin to realise that the tone used is the
reader s perspective. To me, this is not particularly amusing but very confusing, but looking at it from
Calvino s point of view it is amusing to think that he is playing a joke on the reader and constantly

He arrives at the train station and goes into the station bar where he hears about the lives of the locals.

2000, the United Nations developed an initiative to make businesses more socially responsible. It is
called the United Nations Global Compact, or U.N.G.C. for short and it has 10 principles that are
categorized into 4 groups. Human rights, labor practices, the environment, and anti corruption policies
summarize the 10 principles that businesses should follow. Since its inception 15 years ago, more than
12,000 participants from all over the world have agreed to follow the U.N.G.C. s principles
(Participants and Stakeholders). So, where does Abercrombie Fitch fit into all of this? In order to fully
evaluate the business practices of Abercrombie Fitch, or A F for short, we need to see if they are a part
of the U.N.G.C. initiative, and what Abercrombie and Fitch says they are doing versus what they
actually are doing. After pointing out issues with Abercrombie and Fitch s practices for the last 15
years, it s also important to look at the effect these practices are having on the company s bottom line.

The format of a state s electoral system plays a foundational role in the quality of its democracy.
Illiberal democracies, for example, may limit potential opponents of the ruling party; these kinds of
states are generally said to be less democratic than those which encourage political freedom. Because
a nation s electoral structure influences the nature of its democracy, one must take a critical view on
current systems and seek to better them where possible. Though not an extreme example, the electoral
system in Canada can be said to hinder democracy, albeit indirectly, leading to apathy and discontent
amongst the electorate. In a disproportionate system such as Canada s, citizens voices are not as easily
or accurately represented. For this reason, it is of utmost importance to consider electoral reform so
that Canada s system is more proportionate and conducive to political engagement. Canada s current
electoral arrangement is known as a single member plurality or first past the post system. In this
system, the basis of seat distribution is who has the most votes during an election. For example, a
candidate who wins 34 percent of the popular vote will go on to represent a riding, even if the rest of

It s completely inevitable to switch through dimensions with such simplicity. I mean, unless you re in

kids, we often think about getting in a time machine and flying through time, like endng up in the year
3000 or even way back in the dinosaur era. The whole aspect of it really seems fun when you expect

Sigmund Freud created the structural model of personality that describes the id, ego, and superego
