It s not just you. It really is getting harder to outpace the other guys. Our recent research finds that
since the middle of the 1990s, which marked the mainstream adoption of the internet and commercial
enterprise software, competition within the U.S. economy has accelerated to unprecedented levels.
There are a number of possible reasons for this quickening, including M A activity, the opening up of
global markets, and companies continuing R D efforts. However, we found that a central catalyst in
this shift is the massive increase in the power of IT investments. To better understand when and where
IT confers competitive advantage in today s economy, we studied all publicly traded U.S. companies

The Issue Of Concealed Weapon Carry
Concealed weapon carry has been a very debatable topic for a while now. Yes, many bad people
would be able to get their hands on one, but how do we let those people spoil it for the rest of us?
Those are the exact types of people we need to be protecting ourselves from. These people are the
reason we need to have concealed carry, to protect ourselves. I m here to give you reasons why
concealed carry should be permitted to those qualified. I m here to say, don t let one bad apple spoil
the bunch. Concealed handguns deter crime. According to the 2014 analysis of FBI crime data by
economist and political commentator John R. Lott Jr., states that implemented concealed carry laws
reduced murder by 8.5%, rapes by 5%, aggravated assault by 7%, ... Show more content on

But how do we know if we re putting a gun in the wrong hands or not? Between May 2007 and Mar.
11, 2014, 14 law enforcement officers and 622 other people were killed nationally (not in self defense)
by private individuals legally allowed to carry concealed handguns. It is very difficult to prevent bad
people from doing bad things. Regardless of background checks and security registrations, someone
who really wants to get their hands on a gun legally, will do so. In 2007 the South Florida Sun
Sentinel reviewed a list of concealed gun permit holders in Florida and found that 1,400 had pleaded
guilty or no contest to a felony, 216 had outstanding warrants, and 128 had active domestic violence
injunctions. There are many irresponsible people in this world, and whether you would like to or not,
you can t stop them all. But like i ve said many times, they are also many responsible people on the
world. A bad person will always do bad things, but why does that mean everyone else should have to
suffer? CONCLUSION Regardless of how you may feel about concealed carry, i personally will
always believe that concealed carry should be 100% legal to qualifiers. You will never be able to stop
all of the bad guys, therefore everyone else shouldn t have to suffer their consequences. Allowing
responsible citizens to be armed with concealed

Aleut And Inuit Culture
The Native Americans had been in North and South American for thousands of years before
Christopher Columbus was credited with the discovery. Back when the continents were still
connected, the Natives found their way across a bridge that connected Asia and Alaska. An estimated
50 million people were living in the Americas at the time Columbus found land in the Bahamas. Of
these 50 million people living in the Americas, some 10 million or so were living in what is now
considered the United States. Time went on and these people migrated south and east, making
adjustments as the climate changed. There are ten different culture areas that the North America is
divided into. Culture areas are loose groupings for contiguous people with similar ... Show more

The Grateful Dead Essay
The Grateful Dead
The Grateful Dead was a band that toured continuously for 30 years until the death of lead man Jerry
Garcia. They were known for free flowing jams and bluegrass roots. Phish is a band that has toured
consistently for the last 17 years and has in time made themselves into stealth multi millionaires. Both
are very talented bands, who have and in the Dead s case, had, created big names for themselves.
Many people make wrongful association with these two groups of musicians. It is said that Phish is
trying to be the Dead of this generation. This statement is very untrue. Phish is not a Grateful Dead
take off. Phish and the Dead have much more differences than similarities. There are of course a few
similarities between ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
A third thing they have in common is their fans (Deadheads and Phans). The Grateful Dead and Phish
have both established quite a following. These fans follow their favorite band around the country to
see their shows(this phan has been to over 25 Phish shows). They also collect their favorite shows on
cd r or tape, since both bands have an open taping policy at their concerts. By doing this, Phish and the
Dead opened up a new hobby; and other bands have gone along with open taping (e.g. Dave Matthews
Band, Moe., Bela Fleck).
Although these two bands do similar things with their music, the music itself is considerably different.
I think the reason Phish is labeled Children of the Dead is because of their early years playing small
gigs at Nector s bar in Vermont. They were just starting out, and did not have enough original songs to
have a complete set list. This forced Phish to do many cover songs. Mike Gordon (bassist), the only
real Dead fan in Phish coaxed his fellow band mates to cover some Grateful Dead tunes, along with
covers from other various artists and their own originals. The Dead songs were played on very few
occasions, and the songs were Fire on the Mountain and Scarlet Begonias (commonly known as
Fire*Scarlet). After a while people started calling Phish a Grateful Dead cover band, even though they
covered a few Dead

Gender Roles In Ancient Greece
In our culture, men and women are expected to act in certain ways during a sexual encounter, based on
their gender. During a sexual encounter, men are expected to be dominant and active, while women
are expected to be submissive and passive. The existence of gender roles has been a constant theme
throughout humanity. In Ancient Greece, sexual gender roles that resemble modern sexual gender
roles existed, but were not a 1:1 comparison with what we have today. Women in ancient Greece were
considered vastly inferior to men. Sexual relationships between men and women only existed to bear
children. Instead, older men had similar gender roles to men today, while young, prepubescent boys
filled the role filled by women today. In this relationship, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
MacKinnon believes that the first amendment, which guarantees freedom of speech, should not protect
pornography as it directly infringes on the freedom of speech of women. Censorship of pornography,
an act that would limit freedom of speech, would actually lead to a greater net freedom of speech, as it
would greatly boost women in society, helping to close the gap between men and women.
MacKinnon s claims are not without fault. Much of MacKinnon s literature on the topic of equality in
regards to pornography was written in 1980, a time before internet pornography. Internet pornography
greatly increases the accessibility of pornography, which should, by MacKinnon s logic, greatly
increase the overall number of rape cases. However, this has not been the case, as the overall number
of rapes has steadily decreased since

Thus she is in no threat of returning to an impoverished lifestyle. She states that My greatest difficulty
is securing my wealth, and to keep what I had got . She also reminds herself that she cannot remain his

when the Princes wife dies urging her husband to be faithful to his next wife even though he has not
been to her, inducing him to repent his degeneracy and give up his mistress. With the ending of this
relationship Roxana then decides to return to London and she seeks the assistance of a Dutch
merchant in moving her considerable financial assets. The Dutch merchant introduces her to a Jewish
appraiser, who recognizes them as stolen an tries to have Roxana arrested. The honest Dutch merchant
assists in helping Roxana to escape the grasp of the Jew and transfers her fortune to Amsterdam.
When she goes there to collect it, he proposes marriage. Roxana persistently refuses marriage because
she will not give up her freedom. She offers to sleep with him to repay him for his kindness, but states
that marriage is the one thing she cannot give him. Roxana argues, I thought a Woman was a free

Glutamine Vs Azide
The comparison of Azidoglutamine with Azide 1 on cell binding gave a clearer picture of the
competition between L glutamine and glutamine analogues. The activity of Azide 1 was shown to be
more tremendous than Azidoglutamine although it was not as good as Azide 2. The glutamine uptake
inhibition was mostly observed in 4T1 RLR and HepG2 luc2 cells. These data suggest a different
binding mechanism of Azide 1 to cells. The good effect on the 4T1 RLR cell again indicates the
potential involvement of systems A or L in the uptake of Azide 1. The difference of Azide 1 binding
affinity between HT1080 luc2 and HepG2 luc2 might propose a lesser importance of the system
ASCT2 in this case. Both of the cell types were found to express ... Show more content on

It was shown in section 3.5 that Azide 2 significantly inhibited the growth of all three cell types: 4T1
RLR, HT1080 luc2 and HepG2 luc2. Azide 2 which was shown as the most potent competitor of
glutamine uptake tested in this study also killed the cells with IC50 values at 0.1 0.2mM. As
previously mentioned, only a very low concentration of Azide 2 from 5 16µM was effective enough to
reduce the glutamine uptake by these cell types to a half of maximal level. The mechanism by which
the cell growth was disrupted quickly is still unclear. However, the extreme interference of glutamine
uptake should be the first point to exploit the action of Azide 2. Then, more experiments can be
subsequently carried out to investigate the killing effect on the intracellular environment. In contrast to
Azide 2, Azide 1 killed the cells slowly with the IC50 value at 0.55 3mM which is 5 30 fold higher
than that of Azide 2. The mode of Azide 1 s toxicity to cells is quite consistent with the inhibition
trend of glutamine uptake. As Azide 1 bound and inhibited the glutamine uptake by 4T1 RLR and
HepG2 luc2 cells better than HT1080 luc2 cells, it affects the growth of the former two cell types
more dramatically than the latter. Hence, the working mechanism on which the compound counted to

The Bet By Anton Chekhov Analysis
The Bet , by Anton Chekhov, is an original story that is about a Banker and a Lawyer. Chekhov uses
many elements of literature to show that society s opinion on prison has different viewpoints. Through
this story Chekhov writes about two modern sides of prison, capital punishment and life
imprisonment. He writes about a Banker and a Lawyer that set a foolish bet of two million dollars for
fifteen years in solitary confinement. Anton Chekhov, shows this story through characterization and
imagery. The first literary element Chekhov uses is imagery. Chekhov uses imagery powerfully to
express particular point within the story. In the twenty ninth paragraph, the Banker walks in on the
Lawyer and notices, He was a skeleton with the skin drawn tight over his bones, with long curls like a
woman s and a shaggy beard. His face was yellow with an earthy tint in it, his cheeks were hollow, his
back long and narrow, and the hand on which his shaggy head was propped was so thin and delicate
that it was dreadful to look at it. His hair was already streaked with silver, and seeing his emaciated,
aged looking face, no one would have believed that he was only forty. (Chekhov). Chekhov uses
breathtaking imagery to show the reader that this aged, worn out, forty year old man, was once the
young lawyer. This description helps provide the reader with a strong image of how the weary young
man has changed and evolved into a pitiful and demented man since he has been in solitary
confinement. Once the Lawyer is found lying asleep the Banker notices a note, in this note the Lawyer
states, I have heard the singing of the sirens, and the strains of the shepherds pipes; I have touched the
wings of comely devils who flew down to converse with me of God... In your books I have flung
myself into the bottomless pit, performed miracles, slain, burned towns, preached new religions,
conquered whole kingdoms. (Chekhov). The Lawyer writes this imagery in his letter to explain why
he has chosen to leave the house before the bet was up. Chekhov also writes, When the banker had
read this he laid the page on the table, kissed the strange man on the head, and went out of the lodge,
weeping. At no other time, even when he had

How Trap Is A Sport That I Have Been Enjoyed For Over Four...
Trap is a sport that I have been enjoying for over four years. Learning more about it for the purpose of
this research paper is something that was enjoyable. This paper will cover the history of the sport,
some of the equipment and entry costs involved, and provide some highlights of basic gun safety
required for any trap shooter.
Trap shooting began in the U.S. around 1825. Shooters typically used shotguns to fire at targets
thrown, and later launched, into the air. The first U.S. recorded trap match was conducted in
Cincinnati, Ohio, in 1931. These early shooting competitions used live birds for the targets, as had
been the history in Europe where the sport originated. America, however, led the way in developing
artificial targets for trap competitions. The first targets were glass balls that contained feathers. The
greatest trap shooters of the 19th century included Adam Bogardus, Ira Paine and Annie Oakley. In a
one day exhibition, Bogardus broke 5,681 glass balls before missing, and Oakley shot 4,722 of 5,000
glass balls released. In pistol, the first recorded match was in 1860 and it was a duel between two men
who shot nine inch China plates from a distance of 100 feet. The winner broke 11 out of 15 plates. In
1865, Buffalo Bill Cody produced shooting pistol exhibitions, which further promoted the sport of
shooting throughout the rest of the United States.
Clay targets, sometimes called pigeons, became popular between 1910 and 1915 when skeet shooting

the most popular beliefs are words from two of the war s songs, The Battle Cry of Freedom and The

Confederacy almost as important as the heart is to the human body. We must hold it (Governor Joseph

Sherman wanted to rebuild, replace, supply, forage, plunder, pioneer, field, and signal in order to keep
his army moving. The Atlanta Campaign was a series of battles fought in the Western Theater of the
American Civil War throughout northwest Georgia and the area around Atlanta during the summer of
1864. Union Major general William T. Sherman invaded Georgia near the area of Chattanooga,
Tennessee, beginning in May 1864, against the Confederate general Joseph E. Johnston. Johnston s
Army of Tennessee took fourth toward Atlanta with Sherman s large group of armies. In July, the

Union Army with frontal assaults. Finally Hood s army was surrender in Atlanta and the city fell on

Ergot Poisoning Essay
In 1762, there were several documented deaths that were attributed to ergot poisoning from
contaminated grain. A farm laborer s wife and six children died after suffering terrible symptoms such
as blackened and rotting limbs. In 1951 in Pont Saint Esprit, France, there was another such episode in
which either ergot or LSD was implicated. In this small village, dozens of people suffered violent
delusions requiring restraints and hospitalization. Five people died. At first, this outbreak was
considered related to a possible fungal infection of local grain, but later evidence showed that it could
have been connected to something far more sinister. According to an article from BBC News, a
document from a CIA agent implied that the village may have suffered from a public test of LSD that
was produced in Sandoz Chemical, a few hundred kilometers away. Despite the violent symptoms
associated with ergot poisoning, the substance has been used medicinally. It has been used to treat
migraines and Parkinson s disease, and to induce abortion. To generate ergot for medicinal purposes

Unfortunately, unlike the previous reading we did where the reader could take what they learned and

be applied on an individual basis due to the scale that is needed to go through. The concept of
decentralized generation of electricity, also known as distributed generation, is something that only
power plants and other large industrial corporations can fully put to use because they are in control of
how our energy is disbursed between households and businesses. The only thing that we as the reader
can get from this article is the idea that recycling energy will eventually be what saves the economy.
The way that we use power and energy now is expensive and waste more money than it really needs
to. By reading this article, I have understood that if we were to start using recycled energy instead of
allowing it to go to waste like we do on a daily basis, we could save millions of dollars which could be
used in other ways to further advance our lifestyles. If there was anything that we, as the readers,
could do to have this method implemented to recycle energy, it would probably have to be sending

Have you ever had a controversial conflict or rivalry with another person? If so, the end of that

The Last Lesson, By Alphonse Daudet
In the short story written by Alphonse Daudet, The Last Lesson starts off with a young boy with the
name of Franz in which he is contemplating wither he should do the right thing and go to school, or
skip school and go spend the day out in the woods with the birds and animals. Franz frantically
decided to go to school, even though he was already late. As Franz hustled to school, he had no clue
that it was going to be the last time he would be going to school before everything changed. Franz,
along with the people of the town were notified that it would be the last day that the school that this
town revolved and grew up around, would no longer be the same. As the towns people realized that
their school that they grew up in and the only school their kids have ever attended was being taken
over by Berlin, and the German language. Most of the one s that felt like they should show respect for
which they did not show to the school when they were younger, came and sat in the last French class
that would ever be held inside of the school. The amount of respect the town had for the school and
for the teacher, Mr. M. Hamel, showed how much the small things that someone might not like at the
moment, might later realize was the biggest impact on their life s. When the French and Prussia War
first began, The Prussians were not going after the life style of the people in which they grew up in
and wanted to affect the lives of the people of the small towns. Actually, the war began

Compare And Contrast The Raven And The Nightmare Before...
What is common between most horror films and texts? They all use similar types of codes and
conventions. These codes and conventions differ between genre and can be easily identified. These
also reflect the values of the audience they are intended for. The 1993 stop motion animated film, The
Nightmare Before Christmas , directed by Henry Selick, and the 1845 poem, The Raven , written by
Edgar Allan Poe, are both a part of the horror genre, as they follow the codes and conventions of that
genre. They use similar visuals, sounds, characterisation, and themes. Using these and other
conventions, audiences can identify a genre, which influences their opinions and feelings about the
genre.

Sound is extremely important in films, and the types of sound used differ between genre. Sound is
important in all films. Without sound, films do not possess as much power compared to if they did
have sound. In The Nightmare Before Christmas , multiple soundtracks are used throughout the film.
Two fantastic soundtracks in the film are This is Halloween and The Oogie Boogie Song . Both use
orchestral instruments and the lyrics are sung with deep voices. Diegetic sounds used in these
soundtracks and throughout the film include bats squeaking, bugs crawling, and pumpkin heads being
chopped off using a large metal blade. The effect of sounds, including soundtracks, is to enhance the
feeling experienced from the visuals. Deep voices and multiple orchestral instruments create suspense
and fear. As the music crescendos, the suspense increases as well. Loud, sudden sounds like a scream
or crash create sudden fright. Using different sounds, films are more exciting and can be used to
determine a genre.
In texts and films, one or more themes are used, and specific themes are conventional to different
genres. A commonly used theme in the horror genre is insanity, which is easily identifiable in The
Raven . In the poem, the narrator dreamt of things, smelt perfumes coming from an unseen censer ,
and even started shouting at the raven which sat still just above his chamber door. He kept asking

Joseph Delia
Spring 2011
Emile Zaslow
Disney vs. The Future of Men: How have our beloved animated movies affected the men of yesterday,
today and tomorrow.
Thesis: The constructs of masculinity found in most Disney movies create an environment of images
that shape and define what young boys view as masculinity. By presenting sexist relationships,
physical expectations, and violence and dominance to represent power, young boys are left feeling
emotionally unattached and physically inadequate.
How many Disney movies did you see as a child? How many of those movies did you watch over and
over again? And how many of the songs you so lovingly watched over and over again can you still
sing today? The Walt Disney Company has ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
After a while these images begin to shape what young boys know and what they understand about the
world around them. This is not an immediate effect, but instead a slow accumulative effect that is
much more subtle than we are aware of. One of the biggest problems with this process is that the
Disney conglomerate has spanned over nearly five generations, so no one thinks to challenge the idea
that an animated Disney movie is a great way to entertain children while simultaneously sharing with
them a piece of traditional culture. One of the most destructive ways in which classic animated Disney
movies are providing young boys with false and distorted images of masculinity, are the ways in
which men are shown in relationship to women. Most Disney movies revolve around a heterosexual
relationship containing a hero and heroine. Feminists have studied what these characters tell girls
about themselves, but it is just as important if not more important to understand what these movies are
telling boys about how real men interact with and treat women. Often the message to boys both
explicitly and implicitly is that men should view women as objects of pleasure or as servants to please
them. A perfect example of this misrepresentation is in the movie Mulan. In Mulan, and entire song
called A Girl Worth Fighting For , explains what a man is looking for in a woman. Some of these traits
include cooking, cleaning, and looking beautiful for her husband. This quote

The Economic Crisis in Eurozone
With the impending Presidential election consuming the American news cycle, major media outlets
and the general public alike have neglected a growing crisis within one of the world s most important
centers of commerce and culture. Despite the domestic rancor over stimulus packages, runaway debt
and rampant unemployment which has inspired fierce political debate here in America, the fact
remains that many European countries have borne the brunt of the global recession currently
decimating national economies. The so called Euro Zone, a consortium of 17 neighboring nations
which belong to the European Union (EU) and have adopted the Euro as their common currency, has
experienced unimaginable financial disarray during the last decade. In the modern age of globalized
economic structures, the increasing instability emanating from European markets is now threatening to
spread to Asia, America and around the world. Initially envisioned as a confederation of member
states collaborating together for mutual benefit, the EU and its 27 member nations established a single
integrated market with the goal of facilitating trade and international commerce. With the introduction
of the Euro across the Eurozone, this monetary system has proven to be unsustainable given the region
s traditional reliance on entitlement programs and social assistance. With federal budgets stretched to
their limit, the debt crisis has already spread through Greece, Ireland and Portugal, all of which have

The Film Red Detachment Of Women
In subsequent years following the establishment of the People s Republic of China came a
revolutionary new approach to not only producing films, but also film s very role in communist
society. During this period the state gained complete control of the filmmaking industry, decreeing
that the utilitarian functions of art and literature were to become a powerful weapon in serving the
revolutionary struggle. In an otherwise artistically stifling period in which socialist realism pervaded
all creative outlets, Xie Jin managed to retain some autonomy and emerged as one of the cleverest
Chinese directors in the early 1960s. In his 1961 film Red Detachment of Women, Jin provides a
classic revolutionary melodrama, yet also displays elements of formalism so that the viewer becomes
conscious of the manipulations of his film technique. To analyze this film, I will use Mao Zedong s
1942 Talks at the Yan an Forum on Literature and Art, clip #10 Landmark 2, and clip #6 We are
joining the red army to elaborate on the major themes and cinematic style that distinguish Xie Jin s
work from his contemporaries.
During the Zhengfeng (1942 1944), the Chinese Communist Party strongly believed that artistic
expressions lacked a unified cultural approach. As such, they used various methods to consolidate
ideological unanimity among cadres around Maoism. In his Talks at the Yan an Forum on Literature

Enslavement Of The Slave Movement
Enslavement Resistance
Slave resistance began for many enslaved Africans before they reach the Americas. Karenga explained
the many arrangements in which Africans resisted to enslavement, while in Africa, during the middle
passage, and in the Americas. Employing the Karenga text one can evaluate the different resistances
that transpired in Antigua as Cultural, Resistance, Day to Day Resistance, Abolitionism, Armed
Resistance, Revolts, Ship Mutinies, and Afro Native Alliance. One can conclude that enslaved
Africans had an unrelenting resistance to enslavement (Karenga).
There is evidence that confirms enslaved Africans were able to execute successful ship mutinies, while
at sea, and control their destiny by establishing maroon societies wherever they landed in the
Caribbean. These maroon societies would later act as sanctuaries for escaped slaves throughout the
Caribbean. In Antigua, one prominent maroon society was located around the summit of Antigua s
extinct volcano, Boggy Peak now known as Mount Obama (Dash). Maroon societies allowed groups
of escaped slaves and their descendants to maintain a free community in close proximity of society,
but independent of European influence. Maroon communities developed their own distinctive cultures.
Since most maroon communities were founded by African born people, they incorporated and
preserved many aspects of African culture, including language, religious practices, and craft styles
(Jaede). All maroon communities lived in

The Negative Effects Of Gentrification
Gentrification, a very controversial topic that has just recently been brought to the surface in the past
few years, is the process of renovating and improving a house or district so that it conforms to middle
class taste ( Gentrification ). The two central arguments behind gentrification reflect its deeply
political controversy. One side of the political spectrum argues that gentrification decreases the rate of
crime and increases a neighborhood s value, while the other side argues that gentrification is a form of
institutionalized racism that replaces low income families and dramatically increases rates of
homelessness. The negative effects of this issue could not be anymore clear. In major cities like
Boston, the cost of living has skyrocketed just in the last five years. This process of removing housing
districts to increase the neighborhood s value is negatively affecting low income families, primarily
people of color, while wealthy middle to upper class white families are positively benefiting from it.
Gentrification is interfering with the diversity and economy of many urban areas and historically low
income neighborhoods. There is a very high displacement rate in the United States, particularly in
states like Massachusetts and New York due to gentrification. Evidence has shown that
in many urban areas, including Boston, gentrification contains a racial and ethnic dimension.
Residents of neighborhood areas that were predominantly African

The Evil Queen
Everything we hear is an opinion, not a fact. Everything we see is a perspective, not the truth. Marcus
Aurelius
Ever since Quinn s death at the hands of some of the Evil Queen s men Ruby had dedicated all her
time to hunting the Evil Queen down. It had been a hard mission, the one that resulted in Quinn s
death. They had been forced to team up with Snow White and Charming. Ruby had never heard
stupider call signs, but apparently they had selected them after their first mission in which they had
run into the Evil Queen. It was an equally stupid moniker in Ruby s opinion, but the Evil Queen had
coined it first. Right before everyone else, criminals and agents alike, adopted the stupid fairy tale
names. It was likely a response to the Evil Queen s presence in the world of crime because she came
in hard and fast, leaving no doubt in anyone s mind that she was one of the new powers in the world.
Since that first mission Snow White and Charming had dedicated their careers to bringing the Evil
Queen down and until the mission that went bad, they hadn t had all too much luck. The Evil Queen
was always two steps ahead of them, countering their moves and escaping far too easily for the
Agency s liking. Eventually they got a lead when Snow White managed to make one of the Evil
Queen s generals defect. It his faulty information and apparent death wish which had gotten Quinn

8th Amendment Process
Historically, executions have been around for a long time. The first established death penalty laws date
as far back as the Eighteenth Century B.C. but didn t make an appearance in the United States until
1608 (Part 1, n.d.). Death penalty is seen as a form of accountability for someone s action. Most easily
understood when you take a life, you lose your life an eye for an eye. Nonetheless, over time people
have started humanizing the situation and creating controversy. The Fifth, Eighth, and Fourteenth
Amendments were interpreted as permitting the death penalty, until the early 1960s, when it was
suggested that the death penalty was a cruel and unusual punishment, and therefore arguing it as
unconstitutional under the Eighth Amendment (Part ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Innovation Is The Progress Of Change Within A Business
Innovation is the progress of change within a business that s ultimate goal is to lead a business into
success. Each business model in every market must understand the constantly changing culture that
actually causes the business to change. Busy Bees Babysitting is a company that is in a constantly
changing market but has a unique twist to the average process. Innovation can bring a competitive
advantage to the business and lead into more organizational success. Innovation requires a recognition
of a problem, a proposed solution, an implementation plan and a way to measure it. All these aspects
work together and can lead a business into growth. I currently work for a company called Busy Bees
Babysitting as an independent contractor. This is a business, much like Care, that allows a family in
need of a babysitter or nanny, to have access to hundreds of CPR certified workers. These job requests
are made through an app where the parent enters the information of how many kids, their ages, and the
zip code to a database that the babysitters have access to. Then the babysitters open the app and see
which jobs they are available to take. This business has been open for about a year and a half and has
grown a lot over the past two months. They now have 375 babysitters and over 1500 families in need
of sitters. With such a quick growth rate the company runs on word of mouth, but they are
overwhelmed with the amount of work that comes with success. When a babysitter has a flat tire,

sides of the top layer and fold them in to meet in the middle, then unfold. Step eight, turn the paper
over and do the same (this is to help you with the next few steps). Step nine, take the flap on the
bottom and open it upwards (don t let anything else unfold, though). Step ten, now see the folds you
made at step eight on the inside? Slowly push the flap up and fold the left and right corners inside
along the crease you made. Step eleven, flip it over and repeat steps nine and ten (by the end it should
look somewhat like a kite). Step twelve, open the first left flap and put it to the right. Take the bottom
part and bring it to the top and crease it. Now take the flap you just opened and put it back to the left
(there should now be two flaps on the right and left). Step thirteen, do the same thing you did to the
right (again, there should be two flaps on the right and left by the end of that). Step fourteen, see that
big flap in front of you that looks like an upside down V? Fold that down at a 90 degree angle.

A Sociological Issue On South Africa
In South Africa race took a shift from biology to culture. Because is of its many diverse indigenous
groups, race was no longer a difference between Afrikaners and the English but with Zulus, Xhosa and
Tswanas. Language was used as a determinant of race. Dubow argues that not much scientifically
constructed race has been done in South Africa despite the fact that race has deep seated roots. This is
because many dismissed race as being scientific as it began to appear to be a sociological issue.
Science was then pushed aside and race was now seen as a social and intellectual construct (Dubow,
1995: 2 5) from natural science to solely social science resulting from everyday experiences. When we
say race is a social construct we disregard any possibility of it being that of a scientific one. It is not
something that we are born with because of our culture (Erasmus, 2005: 9), instead, simply out, race is
a bunch of meanings that we attach to people. We do not dispute the fact that there are differences
among people. Those differences just run much deeper. By saying race is a social construct this is not
to say that it doesn t exist seeing that it affects our lives; it determines our real life experiences. Saying
it is socially constructed means that race is a learnt behaviour and what can be learnt can easily be
unlearnt. We say it is constructed because it was used as a basis of division by powerful people who
felt superior. Its implications as a construct are still very

The Virtual Community And Its Effects On Everyday Social Life
The virtual community has expanded around the and now positively affects everyday social life by
helping some to find companionship, social interactions, and discovering one s personal identity.
Life is full of test and struggles making the best of in the easiest cost if what everyone seeks. The
virtual community makes things easier, efficient, and simple. Companionship is something everyone
wants and desires, there s nothing better than having someone with similar interest, hobbies, and
extracurricular activities instead of searching through many people and getting to know them
Rheingold implies that one can simply find a place of interest or favorite subjects and communicate
with those who have common interest . Most times finding someone to relate to is a difficult process,
well it was. Now the process for finding a friend is easier and less of an hasle. Many sites along the
virtual community help narrow the options down. Such as facebook, Eharmony, and match.com.
Although the sites can help find a best friend or lover maybe even the spouse of one s dreams there are
a few cons that come along with it. Predators looking for young children, psychos who want to hurt
people, and even false advertising from someone. Many still seem to find and build relationships as

Language Influences Child Language Development
The quality of language input influences child language development. Deaf children are unique in the
sense that they often have a different modality of language from their parents, providing a platform to
investigate the importance of language quality and onset. There are two categories of deaf children:
deaf children of deaf parents (DCDP) and deaf children of hearing parents (DCHP). DCDP are
referred to as native signers and make up 5 10% of the deaf community population (Lu, Jones,
Morgan, 2016). The language development of DCDP mimic that of hearing children in terms of onset,
rate, and patterns of development (Morgan Woll, 2002). Comparatively, DCHP make up the other 90

modality from the quality of language, on WM scores. If poor WM is due to modality, then DCDP and

greater effect on WM, then hearing children and DCDP should perform better than DCHP. Each group
was administered a battery of non verbal reasoning tasks, non verbal working memory tasks

Definition Of Conjoint Analysis
The foundation of the Conjoint Analysis go back to at least the 1920s, it is generally agreed that 1964
marks the start of the conjoint measurements (Luce and Tukey, 1964). Conjoint Analysis was
introduced to the marketing research community in the early 1970s (Green and Rao, 1971). Since
1970, it has become the most popular multi attribute choice model in marketing research community
(Cattin and Wittink, 1989).
This study uses the Conjoint Analysis methodology to estimate consumer s preferences and
acceptance of value added fish products in Oman. As shown in the previous chapters, the conjoint
methodology is widely accepted as a tool to evaluate consumer preferences for both market and non
market goods. This chapter reviews consumer utility and the steps involved in the implementation of
the Conjoint Analysis.

It is widely used in marketing research. Conjoint Analysis is based on the premise that the attributes of
a product form the basis of decision making in consumer choices. That is, consumers evaluate the
value of a product by combining the separate amounts of value provided by each attribute of the
particular product or services. So the consumers total utility is calculated by estimating part worth
utilities for the product attributes. Then the relative effect of each attribute level on the respondent
preference rating, and the relative importance of each attribute, can be determined. Conjoint Analysis
is often used in market studies when new products are being assessed, and when market data are not

Different age groups tend to be represented in different ways in the mass media. Children (up to the
age of about 14) are often presented as consumers of toys and games, are generally presented in a
positive light. However, the youth (from around the age of 15 to the early 20 s) are often portrayed as
a problem group in society, and as a major source of anti social behaviour, particularly youth working

There are generally two very broad ways in which young people have been targeted and portrayed by
the media in Britain. There is a whole media industry aimed at socially constructed youth in terms of
lifestyle and identity. Magazines are produced specifically for young people. Record companies,
Internet music download sites, mobile telephone companies and radio stations all specifically target
and attempt to shape musical tastes of young people. Networking sites on the internet, such as
Facebook, Bebo and MySpace, allow youth to project their identities around the world. Youth are
often portrayed by news media as a social problem, as immoral or anti authority and consequently as
folk devils as part of a moral panic. The majority of moral panics since the 1950 s have been
manufactured around concerns about young people s behaviour, such as their membership of specific
deviant subcultures (e.g. teddy boys, hoodies) or because their behaviour (e.g. drug taking or binge
drinking) has attracted the disapproval of those in authority.
Wayne et al. (2008) conducted a content analysis of 2130 news items across all the main television
channels during May 2006. They found that young people were mainly represented as a violent threat
to society. They found that it was very rare for news items to feature a young person s perspective or

For that reason, many conflicts arise before and after the Independence Day of Malaysia The situation
is predicted to get worse if there is no attempt to reduce the gap between ethnic groups. Among the
steps that can be taken to resolve this conflict is the discussion of inter ethnic dialogue. Through
dialogue, discontent and stress among people or ethnic group can be minimized. Therefore, this paper
attempts to discuss the formation of a plural society in Malaysia, with the level of inter ethnic look.

Men s Separate Dining Kitchen By Virginia Woolf
Virginia Woolf compares and contrasts two menus at the men and women s separate dining halls to
bring attention to subtle hints of variances in social class, the diners sense of urgency or lack thereof

women when she recounts the monotonous environment of which the women dined compared to the
glorious mouth watering festivity that was the men s meal. Woolf contrasts the menu of the men s
meal that s brilliance pops in and out upon their lips to the dry biscuits and dissatisfying rumps of
cattle in a muddy market that the women were served to show women s place in society. The author

Essay On Apology By Plato
The Apology by Plato provides a deep credible account of Socrates defending of himself against the
accusation of corrupting the young before the Athenian Council. Within the text, the words of Socrates
are delivered as they are remembered by Plato. It is important to note that previously Plato was both a
student and a disciple of Socrates, therefore his rendition of the trial could have been considerably
biased towards the man he viewed as a tremendous hero. Ultimately, Plato s account describes what he
holds to be true about his hero, even though Socrates teachings are somewhat idealized by his pupil.
There also may be a possibility that Socrates defense of himself may be stronger than the argument
that is originally perceived and understood.
The dialog consists of a number of different parts. Socrates begins with an introductory statement
which deals with his manner of speaking: One of the many lies they told, one in particular surprised

Missing Features
How could PSC have avoided the problem of the missing features? If PSC had gotten RFPs the
problem of missing features in the system they chose would have been eliminated during the vendor
selection process. However, in the route they did take those features that were important to Steve but
were not included in the AIS could have been included by having a systems requirements list and a
written contract with the specifications explicitly written out.
Conversion and Reporting
How could PSC have avoided some of the conversion and reporting problems it faced? As I stated
before, more time was needed in the testing and training portion of the conversion before the new AIS
went online. One trick I learned from our own system change at the city I work in is to train a few
operators on the new systems during the testing phase and then have them train a few more in their
own departments. By using your own employees to train each other they are gaining a better
understanding of how the system works. This way on the day of the change you have more people
who understand the system and how to fix or correct the things that can go wrong. The more people
you can have trained this way before the system change the better off you will be at the critical
moment.

The Importance Of Repercussion In Dead Poets Society
Robin Williams stated in the film, Dead Poets Society, that those who have now passed, [were] [f]ull
of hormones, just like you. Invincible just like you feel. The world is their oyster (Williams). When
people believe that they are invincible, they forget that their actions have repercussions. In the belief
that the world is their oyster, obtaining the pearl inside to achieve success is nothing but a solo
mission, which is apparent in the novels Oedipus the King , Death of a Salesman and Do Androids
Dream of Electric Sheep. In these literary works the repercussions from being covetous leads to
hurting the ones dearest to them by risking what is important in life and eliciting self destruction. In
life, rapaciousness drives a person until they lose the ability to rationalize their actions, resulting in the
detachment of others. When one is greedy they lack the morality of working their way up to
accomplish a goal. Instead they are steadfast in taking unnecessary risks in order to achieve.
Unfortunately, they compromise their relationships as well.To start off with, Family is the most
important factor in one s life. Risking it, regrettably ensues problems in the relationships with others.
For instance, Biff from Death of a Salesman has an ongoing disagreement with his father, Willy. The

action that occurs as two or more objects be it living or non living have an effect upon one another is
called interaction. The idea of a two way effect is essential in the concept of interaction and also how
much we interact and to what degree is also influenced by multiple factors. Both Alain de Botton, the
author of On Habit and Adam Gopnik, the author of Bumping into Mr., Ravioli talk about our
interaction with our environment and how different mindset perspectives affect this interaction. Both
de Botton and Gopnik observe how we become blind to our surroundings be it the place we live or the
people we live with because we are too busy . We have a set of beliefs, powerful incentives called
mindsets that directly or indirectly affect our behavior towards others and our perception about the
world and these mindsets affect our interaction with the environment. I believe, with the world
becoming more interconnected instead of interacting more we have stopped interacting at all. We don t
exchange intimacies be it with people or things in our surroundings. Our mindset now days is such
that it forces us to work like machines giving us little or no time to imagine, think and interact. In this
fast paced world, we are always bumping into people, grabbing lunch instead

  • 4. The Issue Of Concealed Weapon Carry Concealed weapon carry has been a very debatable topic for a while now. Yes, many bad people would be able to get their hands on one, but how do we let those people spoil it for the rest of us? Those are the exact types of people we need to be protecting ourselves from. These people are the reason we need to have concealed carry, to protect ourselves. I m here to give you reasons why concealed carry should be permitted to those qualified. I m here to say, don t let one bad apple spoil the bunch. Concealed handguns deter crime. According to the 2014 analysis of FBI crime data by economist and political commentator John R. Lott Jr., states that implemented concealed carry laws reduced murder by 8.5%, rapes by 5%, aggravated assault by 7%, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... But how do we know if we re putting a gun in the wrong hands or not? Between May 2007 and Mar. 11, 2014, 14 law enforcement officers and 622 other people were killed nationally (not in self defense) by private individuals legally allowed to carry concealed handguns. It is very difficult to prevent bad people from doing bad things. Regardless of background checks and security registrations, someone who really wants to get their hands on a gun legally, will do so. These fans follow their favorite band around the country to see their shows(this phan has been to over 25 Phish shows). They also collect their favorite shows on cd r or tape, since both bands have an open taping policy at their concerts. By doing this, Phish and the Dead opened up a new hobby; and other bands have gone along with open taping (e.g. Dave Matthews Band, Moe., Bela Fleck). Although these two bands do similar things with their music, the music itself is considerably different. I think the reason Phish is labeled Children of the Dead is because of their early years playing small gigs at Nector s bar in Vermont. They were just starting out, and did not have enough original songs to have a complete set list. This forced Phish to do many cover songs. Mike Gordon (bassist), the only real Dead fan in Phish coaxed his fellow band mates to cover some Grateful Dead tunes, along with covers from other various artists and their own originals. During a sexual encounter, men are expected to be dominant and active, while women are expected to be submissive and passive. The existence of gender roles has been a constant theme throughout humanity. In Ancient Greece, sexual gender roles that resemble modern sexual gender roles existed, but were not a 1:1 comparison with what we have today. Women in ancient Greece were considered vastly inferior to men. Sexual relationships between men and women only existed to bear children. MacKinnon s claims are not without fault. Much of MacKinnon s literature on the topic of equality in regards to pornography was written in 1980, a time before internet pornography. The activity of Azide 1 was shown to be more tremendous than Azidoglutamine although it was not as good as Azide 2. The glutamine uptake inhibition was mostly observed in 4T1 RLR and HepG2 luc2 cells. These data suggest a different binding mechanism of Azide 1 to cells. The good effect on the 4T1 RLR cell again indicates the potential involvement of systems A or L in the uptake of Azide 1. Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... It was shown in section 3.5 that Azide 2 significantly inhibited the growth of all three cell types: 4T1 RLR, HT1080 luc2 and HepG2 luc2. Azide 2 which was shown as the most potent competitor of glutamine uptake tested in this study also killed the cells with IC50 values at 0.1 0.2mM. As previously mentioned, only a very low concentration of Azide 2 from 5 16µM was effective enough to reduce the glutamine uptake by these cell types to a half of maximal level. The mechanism by which the cell growth was disrupted quickly is still unclear. However, the extreme interference of glutamine uptake should be the first point to exploit the action of Azide 2. Then, more experiments can be subsequently carried out to investigate the killing effect on the intracellular environment. In contrast to Azide 2, Azide 1 killed the cells slowly with the IC50 value at 0.55 3mM which is 5 30 fold higher than that of Azide 2. The mode of Azide 1 s toxicity to cells is quite consistent with the inhibition trend of glutamine uptake. As Azide 1 bound and inhibited the glutamine uptake by 4T1 RLR and HepG2 luc2 cells better than HT1080 luc2 cells, it affects the growth of the former two cell types more dramatically than the latter. • 11. The Bet By Anton Chekhov Analysis The Bet , by Anton Chekhov, is an original story that is about a Banker and a Lawyer. Chekhov uses many elements of literature to show that society s opinion on prison has different viewpoints. Through this story Chekhov writes about two modern sides of prison, capital punishment and life imprisonment. He writes about a Banker and a Lawyer that set a foolish bet of two million dollars for fifteen years in solitary confinement. Anton Chekhov, shows this story through characterization and imagery. The first literary element Chekhov uses is imagery. Chekhov uses imagery powerfully to express particular point within the story. In the twenty ninth paragraph, the Banker walks in on the Lawyer and notices, He was a skeleton with the skin drawn tight over his bones, with long curls like a woman s and a shaggy beard. His face was yellow with an earthy tint in it, his cheeks were hollow, his back long and narrow, and the hand on which his shaggy head was propped was so thin and delicate that it was dreadful to look at it. His hair was already streaked with silver, and seeing his emaciated, aged looking face, no one would have believed that he was only forty. (Chekhov). Chekhov uses breathtaking imagery to show the reader that this aged, worn out, forty year old man, was once the young lawyer. This description helps provide the reader with a strong image of how the weary young man has changed and evolved into a pitiful and demented man since he has been in solitary confinement. Once the Lawyer is found lying asleep the Banker notices a note, in this note the Lawyer states, I have heard the singing of the sirens, and the strains of the shepherds pipes; I have touched the wings of comely devils who flew down to converse with me of God... In your books I have flung myself into the bottomless pit, performed miracles, slain, burned towns, preached new religions, conquered whole kingdoms. (Chekhov). The Lawyer writes this imagery in his letter to explain why he has chosen to leave the house before the bet was up. Chekhov also writes, When the banker had read this he laid the page on the table, kissed the strange man on the head, and went out of the lodge, weeping. At no other time, even when he had ... Learning more about it for the purpose of this research paper is something that was enjoyable. This paper will cover the history of the sport, some of the equipment and entry costs involved, and provide some highlights of basic gun safety required for any trap shooter. Trap shooting began in the U.S. around 1825. Shooters typically used shotguns to fire at targets thrown, and later launched, into the air. The first U.S. recorded trap match was conducted in Cincinnati, Ohio, in 1931. These early shooting competitions used live birds for the targets, as had been the history in Europe where the sport originated. America, however, led the way in developing artificial targets for trap competitions. The first targets were glass balls that contained feathers. The greatest trap shooters of the 19th century included Adam Bogardus, Ira Paine and Annie Oakley. In a one day exhibition, Bogardus broke 5,681 glass balls before missing, and Oakley shot 4,722 of 5,000 glass balls released. In pistol, the first recorded match was in 1860 and it was a duel between two men who shot nine inch China plates from a distance of 100 feet. The winner broke 11 out of 15 plates. In 1865, Buffalo Bill Cody produced shooting pistol exhibitions, which further promoted the sport of shooting throughout the rest of the United States. This is not an immediate effect, but instead a slow accumulative effect that is much more subtle than we are aware of. One of the biggest problems with this process is that the Disney conglomerate has spanned over nearly five generations, so no one thinks to challenge the idea that an animated Disney movie is a great way to entertain children while simultaneously sharing with them a piece of traditional culture. One of the most destructive ways in which classic animated Disney movies are providing young boys with false and distorted images of masculinity, are the ways in which men are shown in relationship to women. Most Disney movies revolve around a heterosexual relationship containing a hero and heroine. Feminists have studied what these characters tell girls about themselves, but it is just as important if not more important to understand what these movies are telling boys about how real men interact with and treat women. The Negative Effects Of Gentrification Gentrification, a very controversial topic that has just recently been brought to the surface in the past few years, is the process of renovating and improving a house or district so that it conforms to middle class taste ( Gentrification ). The two central arguments behind gentrification reflect its deeply political controversy. One side of the political spectrum argues that gentrification decreases the rate of crime and increases a neighborhood s value, while the other side argues that gentrification is a form of institutionalized racism that replaces low income families and dramatically increases rates of homelessness. The negative effects of this issue could not be anymore clear. In major cities like Boston, the cost of living has skyrocketed just in the last five years. This process of removing housing districts to increase the neighborhood s value is negatively affecting low income families, primarily people of color, while wealthy middle to upper class white families are positively benefiting from it. Gentrification is interfering with the diversity and economy of many urban areas and historically low income neighborhoods. There is a very high displacement rate in the United States, particularly in states like Massachusetts and New York due to gentrification. Evidence has shown that in many urban areas, including Boston, gentrification contains a racial and ethnic dimension. Marcus Aurelius Ever since Quinn s death at the hands of some of the Evil Queen s men Ruby had dedicated all her time to hunting the Evil Queen down. It had been a hard mission, the one that resulted in Quinn s death. They had been forced to team up with Snow White and Charming. Ruby had never heard stupider call signs, but apparently they had selected them after their first mission in which they had run into the Evil Queen. It was an equally stupid moniker in Ruby s opinion, but the Evil Queen had coined it first. Right before everyone else, criminals and agents alike, adopted the stupid fairy tale names. It was likely a response to the Evil Queen s presence in the world of crime because she came in hard and fast, leaving no doubt in anyone s mind that she was one of the new powers in the world. Since that first mission Snow White and Charming had dedicated their careers to bringing the Evil Queen down and until the mission that went bad, they hadn t had all too much luck. The Evil Queen was always two steps ahead of them, countering their moves and escaping far too easily for the Agency s liking. Death penalty is seen as a form of accountability for someone s action. Most easily understood when you take a life, you lose your life an eye for an eye. • 27. Innovation Is The Progress Of Change Within A Business Innovation is the progress of change within a business that s ultimate goal is to lead a business into success. Each business model in every market must understand the constantly changing culture that actually causes the business to change. Busy Bees Babysitting is a company that is in a constantly changing market but has a unique twist to the average process. Innovation can bring a competitive advantage to the business and lead into more organizational success. Innovation requires a recognition of a problem, a proposed solution, an implementation plan and a way to measure it. All these aspects work together and can lead a business into growth. I currently work for a company called Busy Bees Babysitting as an independent contractor. This is a business, much like Care, that allows a family in need of a babysitter or nanny, to have access to hundreds of CPR certified workers. These job requests are made through an app where the parent enters the information of how many kids, their ages, and the zip code to a database that the babysitters have access to. Then the babysitters open the app and see which jobs they are available to take. This business has been open for about a year and a half and has grown a lot over the past two months. They now have 375 babysitters and over 1500 families in need of sitters. With such a quick growth rate the company runs on word of mouth, but they are overwhelmed with the amount of work that comes with success. When a babysitter has a flat tire, ... • 29. A Sociological Issue On South Africa In South Africa race took a shift from biology to culture. Because is of its many diverse indigenous groups, race was no longer a difference between Afrikaners and the English but with Zulus, Xhosa and Tswanas. Language was used as a determinant of race. Dubow argues that not much scientifically constructed race has been done in South Africa despite the fact that race has deep seated roots. This is because many dismissed race as being scientific as it began to appear to be a sociological issue. Science was then pushed aside and race was now seen as a social and intellectual construct (Dubow, 1995: 2 5) from natural science to solely social science resulting from everyday experiences. When we say race is a social construct we disregard any possibility of it being that of a scientific one. It is not something that we are born with because of our culture (Erasmus, 2005: 9), instead, simply out, race is a bunch of meanings that we attach to people. We do not dispute the fact that there are differences among people. Those differences just run much deeper. By saying race is a social construct this is not to say that it doesn t exist seeing that it affects our lives; it determines our real life experiences. Saying it is socially constructed means that race is a learnt behaviour and what can be learnt can easily be unlearnt. We say it is constructed because it was used as a basis of division by powerful people who felt superior. Its implications as a construct are still very ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

So the consumers total utility is calculated by estimating part worth utilities for the product attributes. Within the text, the words of Socrates are delivered as they are remembered by Plato. It is important to note that previously Plato was both a student and a disciple of Socrates, therefore his rendition of the trial could have been considerably biased towards the man he viewed as a tremendous hero. Ultimately, Plato s account describes what he holds to be true about his hero, even though Socrates teachings are somewhat idealized by his pupil. There also may be a possibility that Socrates defense of himself may be stronger than the argument that is originally perceived and understood. The dialog consists of a number of different parts. Invincible just like you feel. The world is their oyster (Williams). When people believe that they are invincible, they forget that their actions have repercussions. In the belief that the world is their oyster, obtaining the pearl inside to achieve success is nothing but a solo mission, which is apparent in the novels Oedipus the King , Death of a Salesman and Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep. In these literary works the repercussions from being covetous leads to hurting the ones dearest to them by risking what is important in life and eliciting self destruction. These perceptions are shaped by our mindsets and their interaction with our surroundings. The kind of action that occurs as two or more objects be it living or non living have an effect upon one another is called interaction. The idea of a two way effect is essential in the concept of interaction and also how much we interact and to what degree is also influenced by multiple factors. Both Alain de Botton, the author of On Habit and Adam Gopnik, the author of Bumping into Mr., Ravioli talk about our interaction with our environment and how different mindset perspectives affect this interaction. Both de Botton and Gopnik observe how we become blind to our surroundings be it the place we live or the people we live with because we are too busy . We have a set of beliefs, powerful incentives called mindsets that directly or indirectly affect our behavior towards others and our perception about the world and these mindsets affect our interaction with the environment. I believe, with the world becoming more interconnected instead of interacting more we have stopped interacting at all. We don t exchange intimacies be it with people or things in our surroundings.
