Peter Pan Motherhood
The novel Peter Pan by J. M. Barrie illustrates how Peter Pan, an aggressive
adolescent, attempts the abduction of younger male children in order to bring them to his
magical island called Neverland. These young males then serve him and serve on
expeditions and as soldiers in a youthful gang. In an unusual phenomenon, Mr. Pan brings
Wendy, a young female, to his island in order that she might tell him and his lost boys about
the tale of Cinderella and to be their mother. In chapter 6, readers observe that Peter Pan is
extremely protective of Wendy, even to the point of staying awake on guard at night. At the
finally of the book, Peter then promises to bring Wendy back to Neverland, promising to
remember to bring her for spring ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

tuck us in at night, [said he] And you could darn our clothes and make pockets for us. None
of us has any pockets. (42). Peter emphasis that the boys need a mother to work for them.
However, Peter himself is too slothful to learn how to sew and too proud to tuck his own
children into bed. Mr. Pan s selfishness controls his actions which then influence his
compassion. In these minute instances, we can see his true character and his true adoration
show. Towards the end of the novel, Peter returns only once to Wendy after she left
Neverland. This may be because he has realized that she no longer cares to serve him as
she once did. She will no longer be his mother, rather a friend. This does not please him, and
he returns once after, to steal Jean, Wendy s daughter, as a new mother. Peter Pan s
ignorance and cruel leadership is a sign that he does not care for Wendy as a person, rather
as a product or as something to aid him. Mr. Pan sees Wendy beneficial for story telling, for
being his mother, and for serving him. In Peter Pan, readers are shown the cruelty that an
innocent child can impact upon a multitude of fellow

Bank Loans
BANK LOANS statistics project on bank loans
1. Introduction
This study has been conducted in order to obtain some extra information regarding credit retrieval from banks. We have
collected data from 120 people which have contracted bank loans, by asking them to answer our questionnaire. The
questionnaire consists of 15 interconnected questions we consider relevant and might help interpret the results better.
In a loan, the borrower initially receives an amount of money, called the principal, from the lender, and is obligated to pay
back or repay an equal amount of money to the lender at a later time. The loan is generally provided at a cost, referred to as
interest on the debt, which provides an incentive for the lender to engage ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

2.4. Children
Children seem to play a major role in the decision of getting a bank loan of a person or couple. Out of the selected persons,
only 27 did not have any children and most of them were in our youngest age group, fact that is understanble considering
the implications that raising a child has. Most people had one or two children, but there were two cases in which the person
had more than three children.
[pic]
2.5. Education level
As expected, the education level had a major impact on the number of loans accesed. The wining category was the bachelor
degree one, as people from this group have a higher level of education and are prone to have better jobs, thus having more
chances in receiving a loan from a bank. Furthermore, they are the ones that require more money for investments, which
usually comes from banks. The sutyd revealed that 67 people with a bachelor degree had a loan, thus more than 50% of the
total interviewed subjects.
On the other hand, there were 23 people who had finished high school and responded positive, showing that loans for
personal needs attract customers.

2.6. Profession
Profession is linked in a way to the income of a person so it has a big impact on the results. Although we tried to offer a
large variety of options, many of the interviewed volunteers chose the option Other . The graph speaks for

Garden Slugs For Research Paper
No matter whether you re a vegetable gardener or you love to plant flowers, one of your biggest pests is probably garden
slugs. Slugs look like snails without the shells. They slime their way along either in the early morning or in the evening
when everything is covered with dew. They also come out after a rain to look for plants to feed on. If you let slugs get in
your gardens, they ll soon take over, and you can then kiss your Asters good bye. Before that happens, when you first spot
one of these voracious eaters, learn some easy to use homemade remedies to get rid of bothersome garden slugs! 1. Table

Oh, there are usually the typical few hosta varieties, some heucheras, ferns and a few astilbe varieties available at most local
garden shops. Most people all over the country have local access to these plants, but for unique and stunning specimen
plants, sometimes we have to search far afield. Many of the small companies that have some very rare varieties of native or
hybridized shade plants don t have big advertising budgets, but these are often the best sources for plants that can really
make a garden exquisite. California is lucky in having quite a few smaller nurseries that have propagated some rare and very
beautiful shade loving perennials and offer them for sale to the public, either by mail order or by direct sales.

Conclusion 1.0 Introduction Each year in Northern Ireland an average of four thousand people have strokes[1], minor and
major, which affects each individual and their families. A stroke can take away an individual s confidence and self
independence meaning the individual will need care from medical professionals and will have to undergo rehabilitation. The
rehabilitation process for stroke patients requires the patients to attend different specialists within a hospital depending on
the severity of the stroke and the damage it has caused to the patients. The patients may need to attend appointments with
Occupational Therapists, Counsellors, Eye Specialists and Physiotherapists. 1.1 Purpose of Project A stroke patient s

The Age Of Turbulence By Alan Greenspan
After reading The Age of Turbulence by Alan Greenspan, the memoir truly shows the significance of our economy in the
United States. Alan Greenspan, who spent eighteen years as the chairman of the Federal Reserve, showed great efforts to
assure that America didn t experience an economic disaster. Predicting the economic downturn that became the 1958
recession was my first forecast of the economy as a whole (47 Greenspan). His mindset was constantly full of ideas that
would make the economy more stimulated. Greenspan explains the history he has in government, other economic systems,
and world issues that greatly affect the economy. He also made sure the rest of the world would grow in a way to make
more opportunities for all. His main ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The Federal Reserve has many jobs to accomplish such as moderating long term interest rates to increase investment. When
the economy is performing strongly, the Feds will raise interest rates in order to slow down the economy. This may sound
like a bad idea, but in reality it must be done to ensure that our economy stays in equilibrium. We do not want our economy
doing too well but we do not want it doing too poorly either. When the Feds change the interest rates the banks that borrow
money from the Fed get directly affected because the loaning price of the money either lowers or rises in response to the
interest rates. On the other hand, when the Fed lowers interest rates, it means the economy is performing poorly. Lowering
interest rates makes money more accessible for the banks to borrow. When the Fed tightens, the stock market tends to not
perform well. While the Fed had no explicit mandate to focus on the stock market, the effects of the run up in prices seemed
to me a legitimate concern (175 Greenspan). To explain, higher interest rates creates a lower demand for stocks, causing
stock prices to fall. Lower interest rates creates a higher demand for stocks, causing stock prices to rise. When the demand
for stocks fall, the demand for bonds will increase. Interest rates and bond prices are inversely related. This means that when
interest rates rise, the demand for bonds fall. Alan Greenspan had a significant contribution to why our economy is the way

Food Changes In America
Growing up in the early 2000s allowed people to observe drastic changes occurring in the American Food Industry. America
is now seeing the repercussions of eating Fast Food daily and what might happen when a person does not maintain a healthy
diet as part of their lifestyle. America is now the number one obese country in the world. By the looks of what is happening,
America was determined to keep that title. People simply have not taken into consideration that the foods they eat have a
direct impact on their body image. The food pyramid has been the first step of many to help show what foods belong where,
and how much a person should consume. Even with the food pyramid trying to slow down fast food consumption across
America the obesity rate ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In recent studies, cases observe that ...seven nutrients showed no significant changes, protein declined by six percent;
phosphorus, iron, and calcium declined between nine percent and 16 percent; ascorbic acid (a precursor of vitamin C)
declined 15 percent, and riboflavin declined 38 percent (Rich). Now, this is a problem. People are getting less out of their
food which is making the body think it is still hungry because it is not getting as many nutrients as it normally would with
organically grown crops. This has been caused by changes in farming methods. After World War II, the methods of how
people grow crops were changing and trending in a cheaper and resourceful direction, ...agrichemicals allowed farmers to
bypass the methods of maintaining soil fertility by replenishing soil organic matter with cover crops, manure, and compost,
and of controlling pests with crop rotation and intercropping (Rich). Meaning, that instead of letting the crops grow
organically, some farmers are covering the crop with cow shit. In return, it causes the crop to dry out too rapidly meaning
that the food does not have enough time to properly develop the right amount of nutrients. Not getting a healthy serving of
nutrition out of the food people eat is like eating nothing at all. The nutrients in the produce people consume are what tell
the body a person has eaten an adequate volume in that sitting. ...less nutrient dense foods may be partly why we re eating
more and more. Phytochemicals contribute to the satisfaction...help trigger satiety. It could even be that the second helping
is an instinctive attempt to secure sufficient micronutrients (Rich). Basically, Americans are obese because people are
literally eating food with empty calories that do nothing but make the body feel hungry and less

Personal Elements Of Cultural Identity
Cultural identity is feeling or belonging to a group. For example Language, Religion, Jobs, or even daily life are some
elements of culture. Your language is important so you can communicate with people like you. Religion is really important
because more than likely you won t get along with another tribe that doesn t believe what you believe or believes the
opposite. Clothing is also a cultural identity for example Tongan men wear sarong which is kind of like a skirt but for a
man. By their clothing you can kind of determine their culture some wear the same thing but you can definitely tell they
aren t from america. There are many different religions which separates different cultures like Buddhism and Christianity
they have way different beliefs but that ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In Asian cultures making eye contact is rude but in American culture it is very polite and shows you are listening to
someone when they are talking. There are obviously so many different things that make a culture but the one i want to focus
on is FOOD! The food is the most important part in my opinion because you can make kind of the same food but in
different cultures make it their way and make it their own. For example in America when we make noodles it may be
different from the way Mexico makes noodles they love spicy foods so they might make their noodles really spices as ours
just have normal spices added to it or cheese to make mac and cheese. The way we eat our food is different we use forks or
our fingers but in China they use chopsticks to eat their food. Pizza is originally from Italy but now we have it here and i m
sure people have changed it over the years and added their own likings to it to make it taste like their culture. Traditional
foods are foods that have been passed down to new

The Media In The Movies
Moving on, zombies and the lower class have an interesting future ahead. According to the essay The Media in the Movies
zombies make their interactions primarily through pop culture and media. Media is becoming the way of life around most of
the world. Nearly everything is now digital and accessible via an electronic device. This electronic domination can go both
ways for zombies as their initial appeal method of movies may take a hit because less people are heading to movie theaters
and are watching movies and television shows via streaming websites such as Netflix. According to MPPA.org there has
been a steep decline of about five percent in movie theater attendance. This can potentially hurt the zombie appeal because
movies are a huge display point for zombies and having a decline in movie theater attendance mean less people are
watching the zombie brand. On the flip side, it is beginning to look like zombies are no longer relying on items such as
movies but instead focus on television shows in hopes of expanding the brand. Numerous zombie incorporated television
shows such as The Walking Dead have rapidly gained popularity as these shows are becoming much watch TV for many
people. In the midst of all this it seems as zombies aren t being hurt but rather changing. Which is similar to the lower class
as it will continue to evolve as well. In the current United States economic system, the middle class is shrinking and soon
there will only be a lower and an

Communication Protocols And Functions Of Seven Layers Of...
ASSIGNMENT 6 COMMUNICATION PROTOCOLS Data communication allows individuals and companies to transmit
or receive information from one point to another. For two or more devices to communicate, there should be some
mechanism or medium that can link them to help them achieve their goals. This mechanism or medium is governed by rules
or laws defining a format is called a protocol [3]. This is because all communications between devices require that the
devices agree on proper format of the data. There are variety of standard protocols from which programmers can choose
based on the resources available and mainly on the requirements. For e.g. if reliability is very important, then reliable
protocols such as TCP should be used. Each protocol has its own advantage and restrictions. Depending on several factors
such as speed, reliability, simplicity, programmers choose these protocols. In this essay, I am going to address about the
networks and commonly used protocols, functions of seven layers of the OSI model, TCP/IP protocol, and protocols used in
wireless communication. Technologies related to internetworking is growing rapidly day by day. A network is a group of
connected, communicating devices such as computers and printers. [1] When two or more networks exists and communicate
with each other, it is known as an internet. We know, Internet is the most notable internet, which is composed of thousands
of interconnected networks [1]. Any individual or any organization such as

The Combustion of Polymers
Introduction
The history of polymers stretch back millions of years. These primitive polymers were created by nature to fulfill the needs
of information storage, energy storage and information reproduction. Human made polymers are a more recent invention, of
the last two hundred years or so. These polymers are general made of highly flammable hydrocarbons and their derivatives.
Fires caused by a combination of human careless and the physical properties of hydrocarbons have caused millions of
dollars in property damage and claimed an untold number of human lives. It is this fact that has lead to scientists devoting
time and resources to making polymers safer. In the following paragraphs the mechanism behind burning polymers will be

This dehydrates the polymer, forming the protective carbon layer. At higher temperatures the phosphoric acid can help in the
generation of cross linked species and can under go polymerization to form polyphosphates. Which react with the cross
linked species to form the char layer. Borated species work the same way, they form a glassy surface that helps protect and
insulate the substrate. The final pathway that will be investigated is the suppression of radical species in the reaction space.
This is done by introducing halogenated hydrocarbons and an inorganic enhancer into the polymer. When the polymer
burns, halogen radicals are released into the gas phase. The halogen reacts with hydrogen, to form a hydrogen halide.
Finally, this species reacts with either hydrogen or oxygen radical to form hydrogen gas or water vapor, respectfully. From
this series of reactions the halogen radical is regenerated, where it reacts with either the polymer substrate or more gaseous
hydrogen to form hydrogen halide. The halogen radicals are at a lower energy than either the hydrogen or oxygen radical
species. The effectiveness of this method is dependent on the halogen used. Bromine is the most common due to it narrow
temperature activation range. Chlorine is the next most common but due to a broad temperature range is not as useful.

Alzheimer s Is A Progressive Disease
As we age, our bodies begin to deteriorate. The bones become brittle, the muscles and tendons atrophy, hair falls out, and
our mental faculties begin to diminish. It can be difficult when it comes to aging but at times it is a beautiful, natural process
of life. With age comes many difficulties and changes. One of them is a very serious and debilitating change that can impact
one who is affected as well as those who may be caring for them and their families. This change is that of the disease
Alzheimer s. Alzheimer s is a progressive disease that destroys memory and other important mental functions. This disease
affects more than 5 million Americans and continues to increase. With this disease on the increase, it begs the question if
there is a way to prevent this debilitating disease or at least some kind of early diagnosis. Though there is no concrete way
to determine the etiology of Alzheimer s unless through autopsy of the human brain, there are ways to aid in the early
diagnosis of this disease amongst the aging population for better and improved prognosis. Awareness is necessary in
understanding this disease. As humans continue to live longer, the risk for many illness and deficiencies begin to present
them. Alzheimer s and dementia is one of the many problems that plague the aging population. Understanding brain aging
and reducing risk for neurological disease with age requires searching for mechanisms and treatment options beyond the age

Internet Usage Addiction
Internet Usage
The internet refers basically to the worldwide interconnection of computer networks that use a standard protocol called
internet protocol suite. The internet serves several billion people worldwide and has become the most preferred mode of
communication between people from different parts of the world. This has led to it rampant usage and as much as it has
noticeable benefits, its limitations cannot be overlooked either. Internet addiction in teenagers or to say adolescents has been
estimated to be 12% in China, 19.4% in Korea and 8% in Greece approximately (Lin).
To start with, usage of the internet leads to addiction. While the time spend in the internet might be highly productive,
compelling use of the internet can ultimately interfere with your work, the daily life, and a larger extent interfere with
relationships. It leads to a disorder commonly known as Internet Addiction Disorder (IAD). It is commonly referred to
internet overuse, which leads to, interference of daily normal life. This disorder has undergone several researches and valid
data have been received supporting it. IAD covers a wide variety of impulse control problems including the following
(Walton);
Cybersex addiction: This refers to uncontrollable use of the internet pornography, Adult sex chat rooms, or the fantasy role
play sites that will, therefore, affect real life intimate relationships.

I Have A Knife At Your Neck By Don t Make A Sound
I have a knife to your neck. Don t make a sound. Get out of bed and come with me. These are the words that Elizabeth
Smart heard as she was awoken on June 5, 2002. (Moses, 2010). At only 14 years old, Smart was taken from her home,
located in Salt Lake City, Utah, and was not found until nine months had passed. Brian David Mitchell broke into the Smart

Rewind to around 2 days before her kidnapping, Smart was in her class at church. Her Sunday school teacher had preached
a few things that she took to heart. If you will pray to do what God wants you to do, He will change your life, he said. I
pressed my dress again, my head down. I was listening carefully to him now. I don t know what it was, but there was
something in the way he said it, the intensity of his voice, that made me realize that what he was saying was important. That
day after church, Elizabeth went into her closet to escape the loudness of her siblings and prayed. God, I m here, I said. I m
only fourteen. I know I m just a little girl. But I ll do whatever it is that you want me to do. I really do want to serve you.
But I m not sure that I know how. Elizabeth does not think what transpired was something that God expected. He without a
doubt would not have wished the anguish and torment that she was going to experience upon anybody, particularly upon a
young girl. But since that time, I have learned an important lesson. Yes, God can make some good come from evil. But even
He, in all His majesty, won t make the evil go away. Men are free. He won t control them. There is wickedness in this world.
Which left me with this: When faced with pain and evil, we have to make a choice. We can choose to be taken by the evil.
Or we can try to embrace the good. (Smart, 2013). Elizabeth woke up with her younger sister in a slumber adjacent to her,

Book Of Mormon Research Paper
The Book of Mormon is the records of the people on the land of ancient America. These records were engraved on metal
plates, and was later quoted and abridged by a prophet historian names Mormon. It contains the teachings of Jesus Christ on
His visit to the Nephites soon after His resurrection, the doctrines of the gospel, and teachings on the plan of salvation (The
Introduction of the Book of Mormon). It is one of the standard works of scripture of our church. It helps us to understand
more about the teachings in the Bible. These records were hidden under the command of God and the teachings was kept

Concerning this record the Prophet Joseph Smith said: I told the brethren that the Book of Mormon was the most correct of
any book on earth, and the keystone of our religion, and a man would get nearer to God by abiding by its precepts, than by
any other book. (The Introduction of the Book of Mormon) . President Benson taught that there are three reason why we
need to study the Book of Mormon. First, it is the keystone in our witness of Jesus Christ. It recorded the teachings of Jesus
s during His visit to the America. Second, it is the keystone of the doctrine of the Resurrection. With the record of Jesus s
teachings, it shows that Jesus Christ indeed was resurrected. It also teaches very clearly what resurrection is; tells us what
will happen after this life. Third, it is the keystone of testimony (Benson). Through reading the Book of Mormon, pounder
on the teachings, and praying to ask God, we can all receive a testimony of the Book of Mormon (Moroni 10 : 3 5 ). ... The
only problem the objector has to resolve for himself is whether the Book of Mormon is true. For if the Book of Mormon is
true, then Jesus is the Christ, Joseph Smith was his prophet, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints is true, and it is
being led today by a prophet receiving revelation. (Benson, A Witness and a Warning) The Book of Mormon it the very key

The Death Of A Boy
One afternoon, I watched over a group of toddlers playing in a nursery. I noticed a little boy playing with a jack in the box.
He kept turning the crank on the box and giggling when the lid popped open and jack sprang out. He d eagerly stuff jack
back into the box and start turning the crank again. I kept hearing the melody of Pop goes the Weasel over and over. I
noticed another little boy gawking out of the corner of my eye. He was sitting a few feet away from the jack in the box. I
could tell he desired to play with it. Two of the other toddlers started crying and distracted the boy with the jack in the box.
While he was distracted, the gawking toddler grabbed it and started turning the crank. This toddler was confronted with
temptation and he gave into it. Temptation is the desire to do something sinful. Temptation is something every man, woman
and child confront. A toddler might be tempted to steal a toy away from another child. A teenager might be tempted to drink
alcohol. A husband might be tempted to commit adultery. We deal with temptation from the time we come into this world
and throughout our lives. If you are a Christian, you should know there is a way to overcome temptation. 1 Corinthians

pivotal role in our food supply today. Over 60% of food on the shelves of our supermarkets contain some form of
genetically altered soybean, corn or canola. However, Monsanto may not be nice as they seem. Over the past few years
Monsanto has been investigated under allegations of collusion and keeping others out of the market with anti competitive
business tactics. Collusion is the cooperation of two or more businesses to keep prices high, when they cooperate the public
has no choice to buy these high prices goods, and the companies involved make a fortune. Monsanto s business tactics are
meant to keep competitors out of the market and to force farmers to be dependent on their products. Monsanto produces a
good that isn t exactly the best for the environment. Genetically Modified Organisms, more commonly known as GMO s,
are the latest scientific breakthrough. Many studies have shown how GMO s are bad for genetic diversity and even worse
for the health of those that consume them. So why do we buy GMO s? One reason is that GMO s allow farmers to grow
more crops at a faster rate with greater ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The consequences of their business tactics effects everyone who buys non organic produce at the grocery store. This is
millions and millions of people every day. One would be surprised at the number of items at your local grocery store that

produce as much as the GMO s and they are legally obligated to buy expensive GMO s year after

A Separate Piece Literary Analysis
When many things break, they often never return back as healthy as it was before. In John Knowles A Separate Piece, Gene
and Finny are two best friends who go through many hardships together as their years pass at the Devon School. All of the
boys in attendance are preparing to be enlisted in the war that is going on outside of school but they each are fighting their
own inside themselves. In A Separate Piece, Knowles utilizes the allegory of Finny s broken leg to represent the difficult
times throughout a friendship.
As Gene comes back to the Devon School fifteen years later he revisits certain sites that have important meaning to him.
While he is tracing through the years he has spent there many things come to his attention that he hadn t noticed before. He
makes his way to the place of the marble staircase and says, The marble must be unusually hard. That seemed very likely,
only too likely, although with all my thought about these stairs exceptional hardness had not occurred to me. It was
surprising that I had overlooked that, that crucial fact. (Knowles, 2) This ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Gene believes that Finny had started the fight because no one else would have been able to convince that many people to
come along. We ended the fight in the only way possible; all of us turned on Phineas. (Knowles, 92) He was the weak one
of the group, so he got left behind from the others and that is how the fight ended. This means that Gene and the other boys
are evolving and coming together as a group while Finny is not. No, of course I won t break it again. Isn t the bone
supposed to be stronger when it grows together over a place where it s been broken once? (Knowles, 93) Finny says this to
Gene because he believes that things will get better, and he will come back stronger. This also represents their friendship
because it was broken at one point and it will never fully be what it was

Depending on Horseshoe Crabs and Bait for Nutrition
Recently, various user groups have relied on horseshoe crabs for bait and nutrition. While concerns have arisen that the
horseshoe crab populations are declining, management of the American species of horseshoe crabs has been surrounded by
controversy (Davis et al., 2006). Historically, horseshoe crabs have been considered a trash fish , not worthy of resources to
establish their population data. As a result, reporting regulations and harvest restrictions associated with this fishery have
been lacking (Baker et al., 2004).
Catch records for the Limulus commercial fishery in the Delaware Bay declined from 4 million horseshoe crabs per year to
less than 100,000 between the 1870s and the 1960s (Shuster and Botton, 1985). It wasn t until the second half of the 20th
century that a commercial fishery on horseshoe crabs developed to provide bait for use in catching eel (Anguilla rostrada)
and whelk (Busycon spp.) (Ferrari and Targett, 2003). The horseshoe crab commercial fishery has increased dramatically
beginning in 1990 (Berkson and Shuster, 1999). A variety of methods are employed by fishermen to capture horseshoe
crabs: trawls, dredges, hands, and gillnets (Berkson and Shuster, 1999). Entire beaches covered in horseshoe crabs can
easily be harvested by hand since these animals have essentially no defense mechanism (Berkson and Shuster, 1999).
Overall, one million Limulus were landed on the Atlantic coastline between 1989 and 1992. This number grew to over two
million by

Summary Of Hungry Minds By Ian Frazier
Hunger is something we experience every single day, but the hunger I am talking about isn t what you are thinking. Hunger
is when something is missing or absent. It can be emotionally, physically, physiological or spiritual. We are always hungry
for something in life and as an adult, you are never truly full. We are constantly striving for more and to fulfill all types of
hunger. This is perfectly described in the of Ian Frazier s article, Hungry Minds.
Frazier describes different people that are involved with the soup kitchen and they are all there because they are hungry,
some for food but majority is there to fulfill a deeper hunger. Father Rand Frew was the one who suggested to start the soup
kitchen because he wanted to feed his need of starting something that would make a difference. I can relate to Father Rand
Frew in this aspect because I am too hungry for that. I want to make a difference and right now in my life, I feel deprived of
this. That is why I am here at Warner Pacific College to fulfill that hunger. I am exhausted of my current job as a billing
specialist for a long term care pharmacy. The work I do every day tends to get overlooked. I am looking to get the Atta boy!
or the pat on the back but all I get right now is a paycheck and a cold room to sit in. I need to see that my work is making a
difference to keep myself motivated and strive to work harder. I want to eventually have that job that makes me feel good as
a person and make me feel proud. I

Freedom Is Like A Shut Box
Freedom is like a shut box; it relies upon whether the things in the case are closed down under for a reason or they really

In the film, Chuyia, a cute eight year old, has recently been widowed. Her marriage, which she doesn t considerably recall,

young lady s hair is cut, and she is wearing a white robe. She mulls over a thin tangle in a stay with more seasoned and sick
ladies whose forlorn lives have been spent in renunciation. They sing religious psalms each day and ask in the city for cash.
Individuals keep away from them at all costs; numerous Hindus trust that on the off chance that they find a dowager, they

Jay Gatsby begins his life in the novel as a typical, low class American whom has a dream of becoming successful like any

gestures, then there was something gorgeous about him... (Page 2) . Nick is first stating that Gatsby is everything he has
ever hated in his life time but then he goes on to counter that feeling by describing Gatsby as a type of person, everyone

impression of being sophisticated as well as successful. When Gatsby was his other identity of James Gatz, he had a dream
of leaving behind his farm and to become part of the upper class. James Gatz father had hopes that his son will soon become

Examples Of The Future In Fahrenheit 451
Ray Bradbury predicted the future in Fahrenheit 451. The novel is based on a futuristic society where fireman burn books
instead of reading them. Most of the technology Bradbury mentioned became true in the 21st century. Fahrenheit 451 is a
novel that predicted and presented the future negatively by its views on the parlor walls, seashell radio, lifestyle, and the
mechanical hound. Entertainment has taken over everyones lives with televisions and earbuds. Bradbury discussed and even
predicted the future by his examples of Mildred through the parlor shows, seashells, and thimble radios. Mildred is addicted
to her television shows. She is addicted to the point she calls them, my family (Bradbury 46) and wants to save up and get
the fourth wall torn out and a fourth wall TV put in . (Bradbury 18) Her addiction to her television represents how majority
of the modern day citizens watch television, and Netflix shows all day. Mildred falls asleep every night to the little

How To Describe A Jazz Concert
I attended the University of Indianapolis Jazz Ensemble on Wednesday, October 11, 2017. The concert was located in the
Ruth Lilly Performance Hall at 7:30p.m. The band played a total of eight different songs, varying in the types of jazz. I
perceived the overall mood of the whole concert as energizing, powerful, and uplifting. I was also able to apply much of the
knowledge that I learned in class to the event. To begin with, the concert started out with a piece from Count Basie called
Hay Burner. This piece was done by a big band, a band with many instruments and musicians, and that is exactly how it was
performed by the University of Indianapolis Jazz Ensemble. The band had a total of four sections: saxophones, trumpets,
trombones, and rhythm sections. Throughout the piece, the band focused mostly on the ensemble rather than the soloist,
however, the alto saxophone did have a solo. This piece reminded me mostly of the boogie woogie style of jazz, due to its
bluesy tones and driving piano style. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
However, each song was heavily syncopated. The next song that really stuck out to me was originally performed by John
Coltrane. The song featured many notes and different Coltrane changes. Coltrane changes are when the chord progressions
were even more complex than bebop. The song, Impressions, to me did not seem to fit into any category that was learned in
the classroom. It mostly just sounded like an upbeat flourish of notes. Both the trombones and trumpets used mutes, giving
their instrument an airy, deeper sound. They used those at the beginning and end of the song, giving it a unique

Outline The Concept Of Skepticism
How do we know things for certain? How can I be certain of the things I consider to be true? The only way we can know
things for certain is through doubting the things we think we know, also known as skepticism. In this paper I will argue that
skepticism is the best way to know things for certain because it acknowledges the presence of cognitive dissonance, self
justification and the things we can learn by questioning. I will proceed as follows: I will outline the concepts of skepticism,
according to Carol Tavris and Elliot Aronson, and the concepts of rationalism, according to René Descartes. Then, I will
compare rationalism and skepticism by explaining how challenging the ways we think we know stuff and cognitive
dissonance can affect how we perceive things through skepticism and describing Descartes many principles based off of
reason and how he uses these reasons to slowly affirm the things we must know for certain through rationalism.
Epistemology is the study of how we attain knowledge or why we believe stuff in the way we do. There are many branches
in epistemology to explain how we learn and comprehend things, but also how we can know things for certain. Skepticism,
a concept within epistemology, is a way we know the things we do with certainty. By using doubt and questioning how we
perceive things, we can examine the validity of the knowledge and ideas that people seem sure of or believe must be true.
By assessing things skeptically, it allows us to comprehend that

theory. It gives me the opportunity to compare and contrast my thinking to their thinking. All of my postings have been up

Financial Intermediaries Exist Purely Because of...
Private equity is usually medium to long term finance provided in return for an equity stake in potential high growth

clients etc. These investments range from initial capital in start up enterprises to leveraged buyouts of fully grown up
corporations. Mostly Private Equity funds are structured as closed end funds with a finite life span of 10 or 12 years, which

Some private equity funds that have made high debt buyouts could crash too, and a number of pending buyout deals may
not go through. For eg at the end of July 2007, financing for the Alliance Boots and Chrysler buyouts, two of the biggest
private equity backed deals in the markets, ran into serious difficulties, intensifying fears about a looming credit crunch [5].
In recent months, all that has changed. Investors who previously snapped up private equity loans are now being refused low
interest rates and easy credit conditions [4]. The success of private equity firms depends a lot on the availability of low cost
debt. But in a situation like this it becomes more difficult and more expensive for PE funds to borrow money to buy
companies. If the economy slows down, acquired companies cash flow will too, making it harder for PE funds to pay back
borrowed money. Volatile share markets will also make it more difficult for PE funds to re sell companies, especially as the
potential buyers may themselves face tighter credit conditions. [5],
Globally private equity backed companies have shown to grow faster than other types of companies. This has been made
possible by the provision of a combination of capital and experienced personal input from private equity executives, which
sets it apart from other forms of

How Does Joss Whedon Use Film Techniques In Serenity
Serenity is the motion picture based off the television show, Firefly, written and directed by show creator, Joss Whedon.
Firefly aired on the FOX Network for only eleven episodes despite having fourteen episodes filmed. Three years after the

Epidermal Keeratinocytes Angiogenesis
As the inflammation receds the proliferation phase begins, in this phase of healing, cellular activity predominates. The
major events during this phase are the creation of a permeability barrier (ie, reepithelialization), the establishment of
appropriate blood supply (ie, angiogenesis), and strengthening of the injured dermal tissue (ie, fibroplasia).
Reepithelialization is the process of restoring an intact epidermis after cutaneous injury. It generally involves several
processes, including the migration of adjacent epidermal keratinocytes into the wound. Epidermal stem cells from the hair
follicle are now thought to originate from the hair bulge that is believed to be the germinative portion of the hair and serve

In response to the injury, microvascular endothelial cells initiate an angiogenic process consisting of activation of
endothelial cells, local degradation of their basement membrane, sprouting into the wound clot, cell proliferation, tubule
structure formation, reconstruction of the basement membrane, and, eventually, regression and involution of the newly
formed vasculature as tissue remodeling (22). Newly formed vessels participate in granulation tissue formation and provide
nutrition and oxygen to growing tissues. Various cytokines are released by endothelial cells and macrophages stimulate the
process of angiogenesis. Several growth factors play important roles in wound angiogenesis, they include vascular
endothelial growth factor, angiopoietins, fibroblast growth factor, and TGF b. Vascular endothelial growth factor is a potent
mitogen for endothelial cells and induces endothelial cell migration and sprouting by upregulation of several integrin
receptors (23). Recent study showed that laminins are one of the major extracellular matrix proteins important in wound
angiogenesis, they have profound effects on human skin dermal microvascular endothelial cells( HDMEC) functions, they
promote endothelial cell migration and capillary structure formation

Emergency Response Vehicles
The right of way for South Carolina emergency response vehicles is a law that should be followed by all the citizens in
South Carolina. However, some citizens ignore or do not realize that by law they need to pull to the right side of the road
when an emergency response vehicle is coming towards them. On the other hand, when obtaining a driver s license, how
could one not know the law when it is in the driver s manual? The argument gives three reasons on why people should pull
to the right. Drivers should pull to the right when an emergency responder approaches other vehicles for reasons such as:
accidents, a medical crisis, or possible deaths. A driver who fails to merge to the right can slow the response time. In a crisis,

Black loyalists were African Americans who helped fight for Britain during the revolutionary war in return for their promise

  • 3. Peter Pan Motherhood The novel Peter Pan by J. M. Barrie illustrates how Peter Pan, an aggressive adolescent, attempts the abduction of younger male children in order to bring them to his magical island called Neverland. These young males then serve him and serve on expeditions and as soldiers in a youthful gang. In an unusual phenomenon, Mr. Pan brings Wendy, a young female, to his island in order that she might tell him and his lost boys about the tale of Cinderella and to be their mother. In chapter 6, readers observe that Peter Pan is extremely protective of Wendy, even to the point of staying awake on guard at night. At the finally of the book, Peter then promises to bring Wendy back to Neverland, promising to remember to bring her for spring ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... You could tuck us in at night, [said he] And you could darn our clothes and make pockets for us. None of us has any pockets. (42). Peter emphasis that the boys need a mother to work for them. However, Peter himself is too slothful to learn how to sew and too proud to tuck his own children into bed. Mr. Pan s selfishness controls his actions which then influence his compassion. In these minute instances, we can see his true character and his true adoration show. Towards the end of the novel, Peter returns only once to Wendy after she left Neverland. This may be because he has realized that she no longer cares to serve him as she once did. She will no longer be his mother, rather a friend. This does not please him, and he returns once after, to steal Jean, Wendy s daughter, as a new mother. Peter Pan s ignorance and cruel leadership is a sign that he does not care for Wendy as a person, rather as a product or as something to aid him. Mr. Pan sees Wendy beneficial for story telling, for being his mother, and for serving him. In Peter Pan, readers are shown the cruelty that an innocent child can impact upon a multitude of fellow ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 4. Bank Loans BANK LOANS statistics project on bank loans 1. Introduction This study has been conducted in order to obtain some extra information regarding credit retrieval from banks. We have collected data from 120 people which have contracted bank loans, by asking them to answer our questionnaire. The questionnaire consists of 15 interconnected questions we consider relevant and might help interpret the results better. In a loan, the borrower initially receives an amount of money, called the principal, from the lender, and is obligated to pay back or repay an equal amount of money to the lender at a later time. The loan is generally provided at a cost, referred to as interest on the debt, which provides an incentive for the lender to engage ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... [pic] 2.4. Children Children seem to play a major role in the decision of getting a bank loan of a person or couple. Out of the selected persons, only 27 did not have any children and most of them were in our youngest age group, fact that is understanble considering the implications that raising a child has. Most people had one or two children, but there were two cases in which the person had more than three children. [pic] 2.5. Education level As expected, the education level had a major impact on the number of loans accesed. The wining category was the bachelor degree one, as people from this group have a higher level of education and are prone to have better jobs, thus having more chances in receiving a loan from a bank. Furthermore, they are the ones that require more money for investments, which usually comes from banks. The sutyd revealed that 67 people with a bachelor degree had a loan, thus more than 50% of the total interviewed subjects. On the other hand, there were 23 people who had finished high school and responded positive, showing that loans for personal needs attract customers. [pic] 2.6. Oh, there are usually the typical few hosta varieties, some heucheras, ferns and a few astilbe varieties available at most local garden shops. Most people all over the country have local access to these plants, but for unique and stunning specimen plants, sometimes we have to search far afield. Many of the small companies that have some very rare varieties of native or hybridized shade plants don t have big advertising budgets, but these are often the best sources for plants that can really make a garden exquisite. California is lucky in having quite a few smaller nurseries that have propagated some rare and very beautiful shade loving perennials and offer them for sale to the public, either by mail order or by direct sales. http://www.diggingdog.com/pages2/plantsshade.php p.o. box 471 Albion, CA 95410 (707) 937 1130 The people at Digging Dog Nursery have made hunting for shade plants online into a wonderful experience. • 7. The Age Of Turbulence By Alan Greenspan After reading The Age of Turbulence by Alan Greenspan, the memoir truly shows the significance of our economy in the United States. Alan Greenspan, who spent eighteen years as the chairman of the Federal Reserve, showed great efforts to assure that America didn t experience an economic disaster. Predicting the economic downturn that became the 1958 recession was my first forecast of the economy as a whole (47 Greenspan). His mindset was constantly full of ideas that would make the economy more stimulated. Greenspan explains the history he has in government, other economic systems, and world issues that greatly affect the economy. He also made sure the rest of the world would grow in a way to make more opportunities for all. His main ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The Federal Reserve has many jobs to accomplish such as moderating long term interest rates to increase investment. When the economy is performing strongly, the Feds will raise interest rates in order to slow down the economy. This may sound like a bad idea, but in reality it must be done to ensure that our economy stays in equilibrium. We do not want our economy doing too well but we do not want it doing too poorly either. When the Feds change the interest rates the banks that borrow money from the Fed get directly affected because the loaning price of the money either lowers or rises in response to the interest rates. On the other hand, when the Fed lowers interest rates, it means the economy is performing poorly. Lowering interest rates makes money more accessible for the banks to borrow. When the Fed tightens, the stock market tends to not perform well. While the Fed had no explicit mandate to focus on the stock market, the effects of the run up in prices seemed to me a legitimate concern (175 Greenspan). To explain, higher interest rates creates a lower demand for stocks, causing stock prices to fall. Lower interest rates creates a higher demand for stocks, causing stock prices to rise. When the demand for stocks fall, the demand for bonds will increase. Interest rates and bond prices are inversely related. This means that when interest rates rise, the demand for bonds fall. Alan Greenspan had a significant contribution to why our economy is the way it is ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 8. Food Changes In America Growing up in the early 2000s allowed people to observe drastic changes occurring in the American Food Industry. America is now seeing the repercussions of eating Fast Food daily and what might happen when a person does not maintain a healthy diet as part of their lifestyle. America is now the number one obese country in the world. By the looks of what is happening, America was determined to keep that title. People simply have not taken into consideration that the foods they eat have a direct impact on their body image. The food pyramid has been the first step of many to help show what foods belong where, and how much a person should consume. Even with the food pyramid trying to slow down fast food consumption across America the obesity rate ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Now, this is a problem. People are getting less out of their food which is making the body think it is still hungry because it is not getting as many nutrients as it normally would with organically grown crops. This has been caused by changes in farming methods. After World War II, the methods of how people grow crops were changing and trending in a cheaper and resourceful direction, ...agrichemicals allowed farmers to bypass the methods of maintaining soil fertility by replenishing soil organic matter with cover crops, manure, and compost, and of controlling pests with crop rotation and intercropping (Rich). Meaning, that instead of letting the crops grow organically, some farmers are covering the crop with cow shit. In return, it causes the crop to dry out too rapidly meaning that the food does not have enough time to properly develop the right amount of nutrients. Not getting a healthy serving of nutrition out of the food people eat is like eating nothing at all. • 10. The Media In The Movies Moving on, zombies and the lower class have an interesting future ahead. According to the essay The Media in the Movies zombies make their interactions primarily through pop culture and media. Media is becoming the way of life around most of the world. Nearly everything is now digital and accessible via an electronic device. This electronic domination can go both ways for zombies as their initial appeal method of movies may take a hit because less people are heading to movie theaters and are watching movies and television shows via streaming websites such as Netflix. According to MPPA.org there has been a steep decline of about five percent in movie theater attendance. This can potentially hurt the zombie appeal because movies are a huge display point for zombies and having a decline in movie theater attendance mean less people are watching the zombie brand. On the flip side, it is beginning to look like zombies are no longer relying on items such as movies but instead focus on television shows in hopes of expanding the brand. Numerous zombie incorporated television shows such as The Walking Dead have rapidly gained popularity as these shows are becoming much watch TV for many people. In the midst of all this it seems as zombies aren t being hurt but rather changing. Which is similar to the lower class as it will continue to evolve as well. ASSIGNMENT 6 COMMUNICATION PROTOCOLS Data communication allows individuals and companies to transmit or receive information from one point to another. For two or more devices to communicate, there should be some mechanism or medium that can link them to help them achieve their goals. This mechanism or medium is governed by rules or laws defining a format is called a protocol [3]. This is because all communications between devices require that the devices agree on proper format of the data. There are variety of standard protocols from which programmers can choose based on the resources available and mainly on the requirements. For e.g. if reliability is very important, then reliable protocols such as TCP should be used. Each protocol has its own advantage and restrictions. Depending on several factors such as speed, reliability, simplicity, programmers choose these protocols. In this essay, I am going to address about the networks and commonly used protocols, functions of seven layers of the OSI model, TCP/IP protocol, and protocols used in wireless communication. Technologies related to internetworking is growing rapidly day by day. A network is a group of connected, communicating devices such as computers and printers. These primitive polymers were created by nature to fulfill the needs of information storage, energy storage and information reproduction. Human made polymers are a more recent invention, of the last two hundred years or so. These polymers are general made of highly flammable hydrocarbons and their derivatives. Fires caused by a combination of human careless and the physical properties of hydrocarbons have caused millions of dollars in property damage and claimed an untold number of human lives. At higher temperatures the phosphoric acid can help in the generation of cross linked species and can under go polymerization to form polyphosphates. Which react with the cross linked species to form the char layer. Borated species work the same way, they form a glassy surface that helps protect and insulate the substrate. The final pathway that will be investigated is the suppression of radical species in the reaction space. This is done by introducing halogenated hydrocarbons and an inorganic enhancer into the polymer. When the polymer burns, halogen radicals are released into the gas phase. The halogen reacts with hydrogen, to form a hydrogen halide. Finally, this species reacts with either hydrogen or oxygen radical to form hydrogen gas or water vapor, respectfully. From this series of reactions the halogen radical is regenerated, where it reacts with either the polymer substrate or more gaseous hydrogen to form hydrogen halide. The halogen radicals are at a lower energy than either the hydrogen or oxygen radical species. The effectiveness of this method is dependent on the halogen used. One of them is a very serious and debilitating change that can impact one who is affected as well as those who may be caring for them and their families. This change is that of the disease Alzheimer s. Alzheimer s is a progressive disease that destroys memory and other important mental functions. This disease affects more than 5 million Americans and continues to increase. With this disease on the increase, it begs the question if there is a way to prevent this debilitating disease or at least some kind of early diagnosis. Though there is no concrete way to determine the etiology of Alzheimer s unless through autopsy of the human brain, there are ways to aid in the early diagnosis of this disease amongst the aging population for better and improved prognosis. While concerns have arisen that the horseshoe crab populations are declining, management of the American species of horseshoe crabs has been surrounded by controversy (Davis et al., 2006). Historically, horseshoe crabs have been considered a trash fish , not worthy of resources to establish their population data. As a result, reporting regulations and harvest restrictions associated with this fishery have been lacking (Baker et al., 2004). Catch records for the Limulus commercial fishery in the Delaware Bay declined from 4 million horseshoe crabs per year to less than 100,000 between the 1870s and the 1960s (Shuster and Botton, 1985). It wasn t until the second half of the 20th century that a commercial fishery on horseshoe crabs developed to provide bait for use in catching eel (Anguilla rostrada) and whelk (Busycon spp.) (Ferrari and Targett, 2003). The horseshoe crab commercial fishery has increased dramatically beginning in 1990 (Berkson and Shuster, 1999). A variety of methods are employed by fishermen to capture horseshoe crabs: trawls, dredges, hands, and gillnets (Berkson and Shuster, 1999). Entire beaches covered in horseshoe crabs can easily be harvested by hand since these animals have essentially no defense mechanism (Berkson and Shuster, 1999). However, each song was heavily syncopated. The next song that really stuck out to me was originally performed by John Coltrane. The song featured many notes and different Coltrane changes. Coltrane changes are when the chord progressions were even more complex than bebop. The song, Impressions, to me did not seem to fit into any category that was learned in the classroom. It mostly just sounded like an upbeat flourish of notes. Both the trombones and trumpets used mutes, giving their instrument an airy, deeper sound. They used those at the beginning and end of the song, giving it a unique ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 29. Outline The Concept Of Skepticism How do we know things for certain? How can I be certain of the things I consider to be true? The only way we can know things for certain is through doubting the things we think we know, also known as skepticism. In this paper I will argue that skepticism is the best way to know things for certain because it acknowledges the presence of cognitive dissonance, self justification and the things we can learn by questioning. I will proceed as follows: I will outline the concepts of skepticism, according to Carol Tavris and Elliot Aronson, and the concepts of rationalism, according to René Descartes. Then, I will compare rationalism and skepticism by explaining how challenging the ways we think we know stuff and cognitive dissonance can affect how we perceive things through skepticism and describing Descartes many principles based off of reason and how he uses these reasons to slowly affirm the things we must know for certain through rationalism. Epistemology is the study of how we attain knowledge or why we believe stuff in the way we do. There are many branches in epistemology to explain how we learn and comprehend things, but also how we can know things for certain. Skepticism, a concept within epistemology, is a way we know the things we do with certainty. By using doubt and questioning how we perceive things, we can examine the validity of the knowledge and ideas that people seem sure of or believe must be true. By assessing things skeptically, it allows us to comprehend that ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 30. Discussion Forum Questions This class so far to me has been a learning experience. Theory wasn t always a strong point for me, but as the semester moves forward, I see myself getting better at grasping the concepts. The Discussion Forum Questions are useful in the fact that it furthers my knowledge in theory and what we are learning that week. I get to see how other people are thinking about theory. It gives me the opportunity to compare and contrast my thinking to their thinking. All of my postings have been up by Tuesday because I want to give my classmates appropriate time to make comments. I try to put thorough thought into my discussion posts, and use references to back my posts up. I also try to respond to my peer s postings in a timely manner. I feel overall when providing responses to the assigned Discussion Forum Questions that I do well and deserve a 1/1 in this section. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... I read the assigned readings, and then I think about this content is used in my every day life and nursing practice. I have learned a lot about theory up to this point, and I guess didn t realize how much it is used in my nursing career. Since taking this class, I try to critically think about theory when I am at work with my patients. For example, I think about the theorists and their theories we just learned about and relate that theory to my patients. I try to critically think about the best EBP, and apply to my posts since we use EBP every day in nursing. I try my best to critically think, give appropriate examples in my posts, and have the research to back my posts up. I am still learning about theory, and I try my best to critically think, but I feel I still have some room for improvement. I think I would give myself a 1.75/2 for this ... These equity investments include securities that are not listed on a public exchange and are not easily accessible to most individuals [1]. There are usually available only to high net worth individual s, corporation s, institutional clients etc. These investments range from initial capital in start up enterprises to leveraged buyouts of fully grown up corporations. Some private equity funds that have made high debt buyouts could crash too, and a number of pending buyout deals may not go through. For eg at the end of July 2007, financing for the Alliance Boots and Chrysler buyouts, two of the biggest private equity backed deals in the markets, ran into serious difficulties, intensifying fears about a looming credit crunch [5]. In recent months, all that has changed. Investors who previously snapped up private equity loans are now being refused low interest rates and easy credit conditions [4]. The success of private equity firms depends a lot on the availability of low cost debt. But in a situation like this it becomes more difficult and more expensive for PE funds to borrow money to buy companies. If the economy slows down, acquired companies cash flow will too, making it harder for PE funds to pay back borrowed money. Volatile share markets will also make it more difficult for PE funds to re sell companies, especially as the potential buyers may themselves face tighter credit conditions. [5], Globally private equity backed companies have shown to grow faster than other types of companies. This has been made possible by the provision of a combination of capital and experienced personal input from private equity executives, which sets it apart from other forms of ... • 33. Epidermal Keeratinocytes Angiogenesis As the inflammation receds the proliferation phase begins, in this phase of healing, cellular activity predominates. The major events during this phase are the creation of a permeability barrier (ie, reepithelialization), the establishment of appropriate blood supply (ie, angiogenesis), and strengthening of the injured dermal tissue (ie, fibroplasia). Reepithelialization is the process of restoring an intact epidermis after cutaneous injury. It generally involves several processes, including the migration of adjacent epidermal keratinocytes into the wound. Epidermal stem cells from the hair follicle are now thought to originate from the hair bulge that is believed to be the germinative portion of the hair and serve as a reservoir for keratinocytes ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... In response to the injury, microvascular endothelial cells initiate an angiogenic process consisting of activation of endothelial cells, local degradation of their basement membrane, sprouting into the wound clot, cell proliferation, tubule structure formation, reconstruction of the basement membrane, and, eventually, regression and involution of the newly formed vasculature as tissue remodeling (22). Newly formed vessels participate in granulation tissue formation and provide nutrition and oxygen to growing tissues. Various cytokines are released by endothelial cells and macrophages stimulate the process of angiogenesis. Several growth factors play important roles in wound angiogenesis, they include vascular endothelial growth factor, angiopoietins, fibroblast growth factor, and TGF b. Vascular endothelial growth factor is a potent mitogen for endothelial cells and induces endothelial cell migration and sprouting by upregulation of several integrin receptors (23). Recent study showed that laminins are one of the major extracellular matrix proteins important in wound angiogenesis, they have profound effects on human skin dermal microvascular endothelial cells( HDMEC) functions, they promote endothelial cell migration and capillary structure formation ... However, some citizens ignore or do not realize that by law they need to pull to the right side of the road when an emergency response vehicle is coming towards them. On the other hand, when obtaining a driver s license, how could one not know the law when it is in the driver s manual? The argument gives three reasons on why people should pull to the right. Drivers should pull to the right when an emergency responder approaches other vehicles for reasons such as: accidents, a medical crisis, or possible deaths. A driver who fails to merge to the right can slow the response time. In a crisis, all seconds count. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
