a social theory developed by Karl Marx.
While communism is a political system
based on the principles of Marxism.
4. Marxism was first publicly formulated in 1848 in the pamphlet
The Communist Manifesto by Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels,
which lays out the theory of class struggle and revolution.

economic and social reproduction is inherently
flawed and will ultimately fail.

8. Is the , The Manifesto concludes
that capitalism does not offer humanity the possibility of self-
realization, instead ensuring that humans are perpetually stunted
and alienated. It theorizes that capitalism will bring about its own
destruction by polarizing and unifying the proletariat, and
predicts that a revolution will lead to the
emergence of communism, a classless society
in which "the free development of each is the
condition for the free development of all".

9. DAS KAPITAL
Is a , In Das Kapital (1867), Marx
proposes that the motivating force of capitalism is in the
exploitation of labor, whose unpaid work is the ultimate source of
surplus value. The owner of the means of production is able to
claim the right to this surplus value because they are legally
protected by the ruling regime through property
rights and the legally established distribution
of shares which are by law distributed only to
company owners and their board members.

11. CLASS STRUGLE
According to Marxism, there are two main classes of people: The
bourgeoisie controls the capital and means of production, and
the proletariat provide the labour. Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels
say that for most of history, there has been a struggle between
those two classes. This struggle is known as class
struggle. After The Communist Manifesto and
Das Kapital, this concept became well known.
13. EXPLOITATION
Karl Marx's theory of exploitation has been described in the
Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy as the most influential
theory of exploitation. Marx described exploitation as the theft of
economic power in all class-based societies, including capitalism,
through the working class (or the proletariat,
as Marx called them) being forced to sell
their labour.

the ability to determine life and destiny when deprived of the

character of said actions; to define relationships
with other people; and to own those items of
value from goods and services, produced by
their own labour.
