REVIEW!!
Our topic yesterday was all about the
Planets of Solar System.
Can anyone enumerate the 8 planets?.

Layers of
the Earth
Demonstrator : Grechen D. Pareja
Earth is known to be the only
planet in the universe that
sustains life. While it may
appear to be one huge solid
rock, it is actually made up of
various components , some of
which are constantly evolving
and moving.
Earth’s structure is
made up of four
different layers. Each
layer has its distinct
characteristics and
composition.
It is the first layer of the
Earth.
-It is the Outermost and
Thinnest layer of our
planet.This is the layer on
where we live on.
The crust is
split into two
types,
continental
and oceanic.
It is the widest layer of
the Earth at
approximately 2,900km
thick and this is made up
slightly different
silicate,with more
magnesium and iron.
It is the third layer of the
Earth.
It is about 2,400km thick
and composed mostly of
iron and nickel.
This magnetic field
helps to protect us
from the Sun's solar
radiation.
Without the outer
core's magnetic
field our planet
would resemble the
barren planet of
Mars.
It is the deepest layer of
the Earth.
-And it is also the hottest
layer of the planet earth.
-The temperatures in the
inner core are as hot as
the surface of the sun
Earth's inner core is
growing in size by 1mm
per year. Eventually, the
entire outer core will
solidify as part of the
inner core. But don't
worry, that won't happen
for many billions of years.
Direction:In 1/4 sheet of paper answer the following.(2points eac
1.___________IS THE LAYER ON WHERE WE LIVED ON.
2.___________IS MADE UP OF SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT SILICATE ROCKS
WITH MORE MAGNESIUM AND IRON.
3____________IS THE THIRD LAYER OF THE EARTH,AND IT IS ABOUT
2,400KM THICK
AND COMPOSED MOSTLY OF IRON AND NICKEL.
4.___________IS THE HOTTEST LAYER OF THE EARTH.
ASSIGNMENT!!
Draw the and Label the different layers of the Earth.
(Short Bondpaper)
THANKYOU FOR
LISTENING!!!
