• Websearch.searchfix.info is a browser
hijacker which can target IE, Google
Chrome, Firefox and Safari browsers.
While encountering the interface of this
site, no one would doubt that this is a
legitimate and safe site which is just the
same as other search pages and search
engines.

computer experts regard it to be a browser
virus for it can hijack the browsers forcibly.

numerous sponsored links on the search
results which can redirect users to some
commercial sites once users click on

6. Step 1: Step 1 Reset your browser
to get default homepage back

7. For Internet Explorer users
• (1)Open your IE browser
• (2)Click Tools option
• (3)Choose Manage Add-on
• 4)Choose Search Providers. Continue to
choose Bing search engine and make it
default

• (6)Select General tab, click your favorite
website that you want it to be default, e.g.
Google.com. Click OK.

• (1)Open Google and click Customize and
Control icon
• (2)Choose Settings

• (1)Open Firefox and click the magnifier’s

and delete Istartsurf.com.
• (3)Go to Tools and select Option.
• (4)Under General tab, reset the startup
homepage or reset it to your favorite
website, e.g. Google.com.

Delete on the keyboard at the same time.
Then you’ll see the Task Manager
window.
