It is something of a challenge to write a reflection on the life of the chapel through 2017 when I
have only been there for a small part of it. Suffice it to say that the past year has been one of
change and transition for the role of Chaplain at Hereworth School, and for the life of the chapel.
With Reverend Rosemary Carey s departure at the end of Term Two, the life of the chapel was
placed in the hands of the teaching staff for Term Three, with valiant efforts to continue the spiritual

Abstract: This study was carried out to evaluate the effects of adding polyethylene glycol (PEG
4000), sodium bentonite to Acacia saligna hay as a roughage in the diet to deactivate it s content of
tannins.
Twenty healthy growing Barki lambs averaged of 30.90В±4.63 Kg body weight were randomly
divided into four groups (five animals of each) in fattening trial lasted for 180 days. Nutrients
digestibility, nitrogen balance, blood serum metabolites, rumen parameters, weight changes and
average daily gain (ADG) were determined.
Animal groups were fed on concentrate feed mixture (CFM)+ berseem hay (G1), CFM + acacia
hay (G2), G2 diet + 5% PEG (G3) and G2 diet + 4% bentonite (G4). Results revealed that group one
had higher values of digestibility coefficients for DM, OM, CP, CF, EE and NFE than the other

of how the body is used to discuss issues of identity and its relation to culture. TiaTia, works
often deal with the subject matter of colonization, globalization and gender. In the video work
Walking the wall , Tiatia is shown lying down on the floor, whilst she uses her legs to walk up
the wall in heels. By walking up the wall she reveals her sacred malu, a tattoo that is a Samoan
culture taboo. This act her body takes is a symbol of protest, as she opens her legs she questions
the unfair female expectations Samoan women face, as they are expected to cover it, while men
can wear their own proudly. As well as, the act of opening her legs is an indication to western
culture and the sexualized expectation of feminity. The two contrasting cultures of covering up
and uncovering, is reflected in the tension of her legs as they continually walk up and down, in an
exhausting matter, the viewer is provoked to feel uneasy, wondering if she might slip. Like
Sherman s films stills, TiaTia also explores the ridiculousness of female expectations and pressure
to conform. However, unlike Sherman, TiaTia does not want any ambiguity in her works, as they

I believe we are made in the image of the triune God. We have a soul, a body and a spirit: a triune
nature. When we are tempted, it will either be in the area of the soul, the body or the spirit. It is

Book Of Gifted Education Summary
I found it interesting 50% of public schools are rural. We are a city school district, yet we are
considered a rural district in the Mooresville Graded School District. According to our reading in
Colangelo s Handbook of Gifted Education rural schools have many benefits for students including
smaller class size, lower dropout rates and more community support. I believe when you have
smaller schooldistricts and schools you have more contact with your students and you are able to
individualize and accommodate more when dealing with your students.
Another interesting fact from our chapter this week was the number of public schools declined
between 1940 1990 by 69% even though the population was up 70% in the United States. I
wonder why we have consolidated so many schools and districts? We know that it does not
improve our schools when we do this. Some of the disadvantages shared in our chapter regarding
rural schools were that they are typically isolated and not close to universities. We also see that
rural schools and students have less exposure to a variety or range of different professions.

According to Revesc in The Independent newspaper dated 25th June 2017, President Donald Trump
did not hold the Iftar dinner to mark the end of Ramadan. This was contrary to the Muslim tradition
held in White House dating more than two decades. The Iftar dinner is held at sunset at the end of
the Islamic holy month of Ramadan characterized by reflection and fasting among the Muslims.
Just as reported by Moore in the New York Post, Revesc also reports on the statement of Eid
Mubarak issued by President Trump to the Muslim community. In the statement, the President noted
that Muslims in the United States joined others globally in Ramadan and urged the faithful to
