In my opinion, artists are simply creators. Artists create things that are reflections of their
psyche, society at large, or anything that comes to mind. Given that the inspiration for an artist s
work can be so varied and diverse, I think it s hard to say that artists have a social responsibility
given that some artists work don t necessarily convey or reflect the feelings or ideals of the
greater bulk of society. Artistic expression is important and as soon as society begins to police or
restrict the ability of an artist to express his or herself, I think we re moving into dangerous

The painkiller Vioxx was introduced in 1999 by Merck amp; Co. It has been used by over 20

Personally, I was shocked by the Merck/Vioxx situation. I could not believe that something that
was basically proven to cause heart attacks and strokes was permitted to be put on the market in
the first place, and the fact that it may be brought back is horrible. I believe that things are being
handled terribly. Since so many of the members of the committee are financially connected with
Merck amp; Co., they would obviously vote in a way that would support the company, and in turn,
benefit themselves. It seems that the value of the well being of the patients that use this medication
is being neglected while the Merck and its associates simply look out for themselves.
I do not believe that Vioxx should be put back on the market. For one thing, it has already become
clear how detrimental its side effects can be. Another reason is that allowing this drug to be put back
on the market will only discourage efforts made to create drugs that will be just as effective but

Description of the project
The New Wembley Stadium was envisioned as the one of the most ambitious projects in the
world. It was called the home of football and considered to be one of the largest and glorious
stadiums in the world. The 133m arch looks breathtaking when lit up at night shining
magnificently across London. Wembley is known as England s icon of football. Football
Association (FA) was the client of the project and its subsidiary was the Wembley National
Stadium Ltd (WNSL). The main contractor involved in the project was Multiplex Constructions
