What others do not realize is that Looney Tunes is also a street name for lysergic acid
diethylamide or LSD for short (National Drug Intelligence Center 2003). Moving on, in 1943,
Albert Hoffman invented lysergic acid diethylamide and used it (Coney et al 1). Hoffman was
known for his interest and studies in alternative states of consciousness (Wilson 315). Consequently,
since the invention of lysergic acid diethylamide, it has gained popularity. Within this popularity,
comes different perspectives of the usage of this drug.
For example, the medical field has positive views about lysergic acid diethylamide, such as using it
for treatment. One of the possible illnesses that could be treated by lysergic acid diethylamide is
anxiety and depression (Kyzar et al 997). Their test subjects were patient with terminal cancer,
which after their psychotherapy, demonstrated rapid increases in positive affect[s] (Kyzar et al
997). After six and a half months following the use of lysergic acid diethylamide sixty to eighty
percent show[ed] improved anxiety and depression measures (Kyzar et al 997). While there are
studies in curing mental illness, there is also studies for the use of lysergic acid diethylamide in
curing addiction. Currently, addiction exerts a large toll both on the individual and society (Kyzar

getting involved and hope they figure things out on their own? This is precisely the inner struggle
the main character in Oasis deals with after making a disturbing discovery in an apartment.
Set in an old apartment building that is currently being renovated, Nieves has recently lost her
husband and is being threatened with eviction. With no place to go, she tries to convince her
landlord to let her have her husband s old job of cleaning and fixing things within the building.
Hesitant to give her the job because he feels it s meant for a man, he finally agrees. This job
allows her to keep her apartment but it also tests her morality and ability to speak up when
someone is in trouble.
One day while cleaning a vacant apartment, a tenant comes to her complaining about roaches in her
apartment. The tenant believes they re coming from the apartment above hers. So, Nieves goes to
that apartment to spray chemicals to kill the roaches. But when she enters the apartment, she doesn
t find any bugs. She ends up finding a young girl locked in a room. Mortified by her find, she exits
the apartment and tells her boss about the girl. Angry she entered the apartment without his consent,
he tells her the girl isn t her problem and to focus on doing her job.

The article also identifies the green consumer as often very skeptical of green advertising in general,
which results in their own adoptive means of conducting alternative research so that they are well
informed prior to making a purchase (Shrum et. Al, 1995). As well, Auger s article provided
supporting evidence to this point by restating that active information seekers were often more apt to
adopt socially ethical products (Auger et al, 2003).
Several types of research methods were used to reach these conclusions, including the use of
primary data collected through ethical disposition surveys and choice experiment surveys (Auger
et al, 2003). An extensive amount of secondary research was also pulled together, with some data
sets being analyzed to determine the conclusive results (Shrum et. Al, 1995). However, it is noted
within each paper that there are gaps which exist within each article s research design. For
example, some surveys were only targeted at a certain demographics, leading to a relatively
homogeneous study groups (Haytko and Matulich, 2007), while other data sets did not reflect the
general population, as some secondary data either over represented or underrepresented certain
populations, resulting in an incomprehensive analysis of data (Shrum et. Al, 1995).

The day my group and I received our assignment, we agreed to portray a play that seems easy to
perform. The play in which my group and I had a strong connection with is Cat On A Hot Tin
Roof. We performed the end of Act 1, Scene 1 for various reasons. The act contained various
emotions, intriguing dialogue, various literary devices and a deep perception of social
