THE START [April, 1984]
Every great company starts from a scratch. Compsi also had a very humble be‐
ginning when its founder, Mr. Abdul Aleem decided to train people for latest IT
applications. It was a unique idea at that time and Compsi provided a great
service to Businesses in Pakistan at that time. The trainings flourished as more
and more people benefitted from them.
After a while, the visionary leadership of Compsi saw that Pakistan is in dire
need of latest IT infrastructure which is taking the global world by storm. And
hence, importation of IT products started which comprised of Compsi PCs,
and Compsi Dot Matrix Printers. These were Compsi’s own brands and they
transformed the dynamics of Pakistani business market and created new de‐
mands for IT infrastructure.
SHAHKAR [1987‐1992]
Shahkar was the product that took Compsi to new levels. It became the iden‐
tity of the company and was the only software of its kind in Pakistan.
Shahkar was an Urdu writing software. At that time, these kinds of software
did not give very good output quality. Shahkar beat them all with its unique
design and mechanics. It became instantaneously popular in Newspapers
industry and publishing industry. Shahkar was truly the shining star of
Compsi.

(1992‐present)
In 1992, Compsi leadership contacted Hewlett Packard and started importing HP computers, and Printers in Paki‐
stan. They were bundled with Shahkar, great After‐sales support and services. Compsi also had an efficient team
of individuals who would give consultation to Businesses and make sure that their needs are met.
The demands for HP soared, and Compsi was the only one providing HP products in the spectacular way it did. It
was these early years that Compsi became synonymous with the brand of HP. People started believing that HP
was Compsi and Compsi was HP. Compsi Team feels proud even today of this legacy and stories of Compsi are
famous in the market.
Compsi flourished in the business partnership with Hewlett Packard. It was a great mutually beneficial relation‐
ship which both companies have cherished till today. In 1992, Compsi became the Authorized Distributor of HP
products and Services in Pakistan.
Distribution was not an easy task and it was a role not to be taken lightly. But, Compsi eased into that responsi‐
bility. It made sure that HP distribution was done effectively and HP Products were distributed everywhere in
Pakistan. Not only did Compsi fulfilled infrastructure requirements of Enterprise organizations, but also made
sure that HP products reached every home via Dealer network.

COMPSI & Microsoft [2007‐Present]
In 2007, Microsoft approached Compsi to be their representative and busi‐
ness partner in Pakistan. As a leading IT firm in Pakistan, Compsi accepted
and started serving its customers with Microsoft products too.
It was proven once again, that Compsi excels exceptionally in whatever it
does. In 2011, Compsi was awarded with “Best Corporate Reseller – FY11”
distinction from Microsoft.
In 1999, Hewlett Packard announced its Corporate Reseller program. And
Compsi was the most obvious choice to lead the pack of Corporate Resellers
in Pakistan. It was immediately given the status of Tier‐1 Corporate reseller in
Pakistan responsible for Enterprise organizations.
That was a turning point for Compsi as it now became very focused and spe‐
cialized. Smart Sales teams were set up, Strong support team were built, and
Compsi went with full throttle into serving corporate businesses of Pakistan.
Since then, Compsi has been implementing International quality standards in
its processes. We have come to the highest points of maturity in Business
