When I visited the Museum of Modern Art, the exhibits were fascinating, intense, but interesting.
Out of all the pieces, only two types of art stood out to me; Asian and African art. There were two
sculptures that displayed extreme value from not only the culture but from the artists who created
them. It was intriguing to see what my perspective and the people s beliefs and usage of the
sculptures meant at the time. And to also look into the great value and historical meaning behind
them. I will discuss how I encountered the pieces and how they both looked like through my up
close observation of them.
The museum was very crowded when I arrived as well. There was an extraordinary amount of
Greek, Egyptian, and Roman Catholic art pieces being displayed. Which is why I struggled
trying to look for art pieces that were related to what topics about our art history class. Once I
came back for the second time, I finally found a way to find the appropriate art pieces to write
about. The organization of the pieces being presented was nice but hard to locate. Even with
using the map, I realized that if the musuem is too busy, that it will be very easy to get lost.
Luckily, I asked a lot of people to help guide me so I could find what I am looking for. In the end, I
finally got the background information of the art pieces I needed. By the way, finding the Nolan

Overcoming An Obstacle To Overcome Research Paper
Every person will overcome an obstacle in their lifetime because there will always be an
obstacle to overcome. For example, I had the experience of overcoming an obstacle in a previous
grade in junior high. A close family member overcame a traumatising experience. and a shocking
experience when a close family member was diagnosed with cancer. It is important to overcome
obstacles in life because overcoming obstacles helps us to learn, to grow and become better.
One of my challenges in life was the time when I failed grade 7 science. I failed grade seven
science because I wasn t paying attention in class and I never did any homework. I overcame this
obstacle by studying over summer and re reading the textbook. This experience helped me to be
better in school and grow my knowledge because through failure I became better and I grew from
my mistakes. My work was better in grade 8 and 9 because I learned from my mistakes and it
helped me grow. Things were different in grade 8 and 9 because I had learned from my mistakes
and I grew in an academic way. For example in grade 8 I passed science with an 80%+ mark, this
proves that I overcame my obstacle by getting a great final grade in grade 8. And now science is
