Essay Ambivalence and Death in Shakespeare s Hamlet
In act IV, scene III, Shakespeare addresses the play s themes and messages; those being ambivalence
and how people are one and the same in the end of life. Hamlet speaks in an eccentric riddle form but
there are underlying messages communicated through Hamlet s craziness and Claudius confusion. The
ideas are conversed through Claudius and Hamlet and convey the morals of the drama, Hamlet.
Shakespeare also takes the liberty in this section to show how diverse and opposite the characters of
Claudius and Hamlet are by differentiating their literary devices. Although Hamlet and Claudius are
related to one another by the law and by both of their needs to achieve self fulfillment; In act IV, scene
III, it is clearly conveyed how the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
 In addition to the sentence length and the content, Shakespeare shows the distinct difference
between Hamlet s quick thinking wittiness and Claudius slow uncertainty. Shakespeare dictated in the
script that Claudius was to talk with [fiery quickness] (48) during the dialogue where he is telling
Hamlet off; this section of lines is inferring that Claudius lines have been delayed and not very
powerful up to that point. In this particular scene, it is quite apparent that Claudius does not know
what to make of Hamlet s riddles. For instance, (To the attendants) Go seek him there. (41), states that
Claudius is quite slow on the uptake. Hamlet just told Claudius that Polonius body was up the stairs
into the lobby (40 41) which was up in heaven or hell, whichever the reader chose. Since Claudius
tells his servants to go find him there, it shows that he is not able to grasp Hamlet s intended meaning,
which is bi polar opposite of Hamlet s witty character. Another device Shakespeare crafted into the
script to highlight their differences was to have Hamlet speak about the Fat King and the Lean Beggar
(26). Both the adjectives and the nouns are opposites, which subliminally spotlight the differences in

Challenges Facing the UAE Health Care System
No one can deny that UAE is a young rising society and faces a lot of challenges as other young
societies. Those challenges have a great impact on the country development and prosperity regarding
different aspects. One of these aspects is the health care system. No doubt that these challenges do not
affect UAE alone but it also have an effect on other countries all over the world. In my paper, I will
specify challenges affecting the health care system in the United Arab Emirates. Let us spot the light
on the development of health care system in UAE before discussing challenges. For example, The
mortality rate among infants has decreased from 10.1 to 8.71 per 1000 birth child between 1995 and
2004.1 Some studies show that the leading causes of death among UAE nationals are cardiovascular
diseases, accident and poisoning, tumors respectively. Therefore, chronic diseases are considered one
of challenges that the country faces. Other challenges include the lack of the human resources and the
health care services. Chronic disease is long term. Generally, it has no cure. This kind of disease exists
from long time ago. In the last few years, it has increased sharply. There are some diseases which
spread in the UAE such as diabetes hypertension and cardiovascular diseases. Definitely, it has no
cure, but we can reduce it effects and complications. For instance, the cardiovascular diseases are the
main causes of mortality in the UAE, which are estimated by 21.24%. (Ministry of

Cosmetic Changes Of Medical Technology
Introduction
With the development of medical technology, many ambulatories and cosmetic changes can be done
by surgical services. This has lead the demand for surgical services to grow rapidly in the past decade.
The ambulatory surgery in United States hospitals had increased to 2.9 million procedures, according
to the data from American Hospital Association. As medical technology has developed day by day,
some hospitals have introduced digital operating room, tele surgery, and robotic assistants. These
modern technologies can offer shorter hospital stays, less pain, faster recovery and fewer
complications. However, many new technologies come with many requirement checks, safety checks,
etc. that cause a delay with the pre surgical check. In general, surgical services cost about 40% of the
hospital s overall revenue. However, operating room performance has many issues that cause
inefficiencies and delays in the operation. A study shows that if the hospitals can operate one more
procedure per day per operation room, it could translate to an additional $4 million to $7 million in
annual revenue.
Summary
A large number of hospitals are having a delay in processing time. They are expecting six sigma to be
a useful tool to enhance the quality of operating room process. The project has set several target areas
to improve. These areas include improving the first case start time, optimizing technologies,
improving room turnover times, ensuring appropriate scheduling, improving

Bohemian Rhapsody Research Paper
lI created a playlist where I believe tie to the theme and central ideas of the story. .
1.)Bohemian Rhapsody Bohemian Rhapsody tells the story of a man accidentally kills another man
just like how ben accidentally killed his own son. In the song he doesn t know if it real or not he s
confused but when he sound comes to realization what had happened his life had turned upside down.
He goes into a bad case of depression to the point where suicidal thoughts run through his head. After
the death of Ben s kid he goes into depression asking himself if his life really matter he has no one
anymore. Bohemian Rhapsody ties to the idea of depression which is shown through the book in the
flashbacks Ben has.
2.)It s a Hard Life Despite the fact the song It s a Hard life is a song about a break up the first stanzas
of the song can be shown expressing the idea of loss. In the song the person is in a sticky situation
where the only person to blame is himself but he knows its life. Loss can happen to anyone not just
him. In the book Ben is shown that he blames himself for the death of his kid. It takes him a while to
realize but death is part of life and it is inevitable. Everyone in this life faces a loss of someone close

How Does Enzyme Concentration Or Temperature Affect The...
Question: How does changing enzyme concentration or temperature affect the reaction time of
enzyme activity? Background and Introduction: Enzymes are proteins that process substrates, which is
the chemical molecule that enzymes work on to make products. Enzyme purpose is to increase the rate
of activity and speed up chemical reaction in a form of biological catalysts. The enzymes specialize in
lowering the activation energy to start the process. Enzymes are very specific in their process, each
substrate is designed to fit with a specific substrate and the enzyme and substrate link at the active site.
The binding of a substrate to the active site of an enzyme is a very specific interaction. Active sites are
clefts or grooves on the surface of an enzyme, usually composed of amino acids from different parts of
the polypeptide chain that are brought together in the tertiary structure of the folded protein.
Substrates initially bind to the active site by noncovalent interactions, including hydrogen bonds, ionic
bonds, and hydrophobic interactions. Once a substrate is bound to the active site of an enzyme,
multiple mechanisms can accelerate its conversion to the product of the reaction. But sometimes, these
enzymes fail or succeed to increase the rate of action because of various factors that limit the action.
These factors can be known as temperature, acidity levels (pH), enzyme and/or substrate
concentration, etc. In this experiment, it will be tested how much of an effect

Tom Stoppard Analysis
Tom Stoppard and How Both Plays Imply a Similar Message
Philosophical Playwright Tom Stoppard was born Tomás Straüssler on July 3rd, 1937 in Zlín,
Czechoslovakia. He grew up in Singapore as well as in India during World War II. Stoppard s
Biological father was killed in Singapore, so instead of moving to England in the year of 1946 with his
mother and Father, his stepdad had filled the hole that was left by his father. Tom Stoppard s education
took place with schools in Nottinghamshire and Yorkshire. This was where he became a journalist
working for the Western Daily Press in 1954 through to 1980 as well as the Bristol Evening World in
1958 through to 1960. In 1962 Stoppard became a theatre critic for Scene magazine in London and
also began writing plays for Television and Radio shows, including The Dissolution of Dominic Boot
in 1964, A Walk on the Water , televised in 1963, and The Stand Ins , which was later revised as The
Real Inspector Hound in 1968. The play Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead , which was
published in 1967, premiered at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 1966. This play had caught the
attention of Kenneth Tynan, which brought recognition to the National Theatre. Not only was it
produced at the National Theatre but it was also produced at the National in 1967 and on Broadway in

Simon Bolivar The Dictator Essay
Simon Bolivar, The Liberator, is acclaimed by historians as one of the greatest Latin American
revolutionary leaders in history. Commonly referred to as the Washington for South American
revolutions (Slatta 3), Bolivar, has undoubtedly had a profound influence on the political state of
South America; but as Washington got rid of colonialists of one country, Bolivar liberated six from
Spanish rule. Although he managed to attain such a feat, historians often debate over the extent of his
influence and success, some even regarding him as a failure. As a liberator who scorned liberalism, a
soldier who disparaged militarism, a republican who admired monarchy (Lynch 1), Bolivar s legacy
has many different analyses. Although Bolivar may have failed in creating his ideal, unified Republic,

Analysis Of The Story Paulie Calafiore
1. Paulie Calafiore Well, it just seems he is marching his way to victory and no one cares. Paulie has
the entire house in the palm of his hands and they will do whatever he states. Paul did his dirty work
for him this week by taking Da vonne out for him, someone who was loyal to Paul and not coming
after him. Props to the game that Paulie is playing, but I feel the double eviction is where he is he most
vulnerable.
2. James Huling James may not be playing the game hard and while he s currently a minion of Paulie
s, his game is a deep threat game. He is not currently being targeted by anyone and his social game is
pretty good. I think the house really respected his move to take out Frank, but James is going to have
to be the onet to take down Paulie if he wants to win.
3. Corey Brooks It seems with each passing week that Corey becomes safer and safer. I have yet to
hear anyone target him and he is very likely to survive the block over Nicole. He s not really good in
competitions and that s another thing that makes him less threatening. But Corey will need to make a
move if he wants any chance at the jury respecting him.
4. Paul Abrahamian Despite his bad move to target Da vonne who was not coming after him, he is still
in a good position and that has a lot to do with Paulie. Paul and Paulie have a very strong alliance that
no one in the game has detected as a strong final two deal. I can t see Paul being in trouble anytime
soon and if he is, one would

Cordelia As A Christ-Like Figure In Ian Hunter s King Lear
Cordelia as a Christ like figure is understandable based on the answer she gives her father in response
to his question of love. Does she love him as her sisters do? Goneril and Regan give unabashedly
extravagant answers that contain nothing more than empty flattery and meaningless words of love.
However, Cordelia is the only daughter who gives an honest answer to his question. In the play King
Lear, Cordelia responds, Unhappy that I am, I cannot heave/ My heart into my mouth. I love your
majesty/ According to my bond; no more, no less (I.i.90 92). Cordelia accepts the king as her father
and her sovereign, and she loves him accordingly, but he is not a God like figure to her. Honesty, in
this instance, is more important to King Lear s youngest daughter, rather than ego stroking. When she
answers that she cannot heave her heart into her mouth, she understands that she will not baste him in
meaningless flattery just to gain his wealth. This is the moment in the play that Cordelia s virtue and
love are revealed, setting into motion the idea that she is a Christ like figure. Ian Hunter, author of the
Christian article Lear, Cordelia, the Cross presumes the play is more than just an allegory to parts of
the Bible. He compares this play to John Milton s Paradise Lost. Hunter states that the conversation
between Lear and Kent in which Kent is banished reveals another key element to the play. He states,
This exchange introduces another theme that reverberates through the

An Example Of A Professional Sports Athlete
Introduction When anyone thinks of business, shopping is most likely at the top of that list, if there
even is a list. A person enters a department store, specialty store or a grocery store, selects an item or
more then proceeds to checkout. A form of currency is exchanged and voilà, business has been done.
When children are asked what a business person does, the usual reply is that a business person wears a
suit and rides a train to work. While the everyday child and the Average Joe may be seen as business
knowledge novices, they certain have heard many key words in business formations. An example
would be a professional sports athlete. The agent works on behalf of the athlete and has a contract
detailing the work and the compensation received. Joe the sports fan is well aware of this type
relationship but probably doesn t know that Agency is the business term used. Agency and its
application will be covered later. Business also has different types of organizations, to include
partnerships, franchises and corporations. How these entities can be formed, their types and the
powers they hold will be discussed. It is also important in business to know who is in charge, who
runs the business and who can decide what the business will do in the present and the future. While all
these terms and ideas are exciting, the most exciting entity in business is money. Everyone wants to
make lots of money and the right business can help to achieve that goal. The finances,

The Lottery, by Shirley Jackson and Eudora Welty’s A Worn...
In literature there are many different critical views, in which all of them have very distinctive ideas
and beliefs. The value of these critical views is decided by the reader and may be different to each
one. When a reader approaches a work of literature they bring their own views and experiences with
them, so each reader will read each story differently. And even the same reader will never read the
same story the same way twice due to things that may have changed in his or her life. In Shirley
Jackson s The Lottery (509 15) and Eudora Welty s A Worn Path (568 74) one reader my feel

The next character would be Mr. Graves which one can blatantly see the ominous mean of death and
the dead being bared in a grave. Then Old Man Warner which on a first reading one may not see
because it s not so much a double meaning as it is a play on words, warn er. In which one could gather
that since he is the oldest man in the town he has been there for a long time and could warn the other
of The Lottery . After that is Mrs. Delacroix which could also be a hard one to catch but the literal
translation in French to de la Croix is of the cross. So when a reader sees all of this on their
subsequent readings one would see from the introduction of all of the characters that there is a somber
warning (lively men die without warning by crucifixion) for Tessie Hutchinson; who shows up late
and says that she Clean forgot what day it was, (Jackson 511) showing that she is a free spirit. This
makes her stand out in the story letting the reader know the warning is for her. Then last but not least
there is Mrs. Dunbar who had to draw for her husband because he had a broken leg and ever since the
early days of sacrificial killings they have never offered someone or something with broken bones
because it would not please the gods and after all that was the whole point of the killing. Eudora Welty
also uses a lot of themes and symbols to help readers connect to her stories. In her story titled A Worn

Introduction Maya Angelou, a famous African American poet, once said, We all should know that
diversity makes for a rich tapestry, and we must understand that all the threads of the tapestry are
equal in value no matter what their colour, (Angelou Johnson, 2014). This quote shows how cultural
diversity is widely believed to be a benefit to society, but how do these benefits stretch to the context
of a business? This review will be looking into literature surrounding the question, what are the key
outcomes of creating and managing a culturally diverse working environment? Over 20 years ago, a
prediction was made that the demographics of the workforce would start to change significantly and
researchers and writers began endorsing the need for organisations to create supportive workplaces
where diversity is valued, (Cox, 1994). They have argued that diversity is a double edged sword; it has
the potential for positive and negative outcomes, (Chrobot Mason Aramovich, 2013). Chrobot Mason
and Aramovich (2013) also added that the way to ensure positive outcomes from diversity was the
effective management of the workplace. This review will be exploring how effective management of a
diverse workforce can bring about positive outcomes for employees and whole organisations through
increased senses of identity for workers leading to lower turnover rates, and increased innovation
within an organisation. Turnover Rates Diversity within organisations has been linked to overall

Every Day I Fight, By Larry Platt
Nearly 14.5 million Americans have had a history stint with some type of cancer and were still alive
on January 1, 2014(American Cancer Society, 2016). There will be an estimated 1,685,210 new cancer
cases and 595, 590 deaths in 2016 attibuted to caner in the U.S. (American Cancer Society,2016 )
Those astonishing numbers do not even account for the cancer patients family and friends whose lives
are also affected this horrific disease. In order to get a glimpse of what a cancer patient has to go
though, I decided to read Stuart Scott s memoir, Every Day I Fight, by Larry Platt. He is an ESPN

He had to have an emergency appendectomy, consequently when they removed his appendix he was
diagnosed Appendiceal Cancer. The first thing that came to his mind when he was told he had cancer
was, Platt (2015) I m going to die, and I won t be here for my daughters (p. 156). That pity party
ended quickly, because he knew that he had to be strong for his daughters. They were his inspiration to
fight. After the initial shock wore off, he began to scour the Internet in search of information on his
rare form of caner. The more that he read the stories and looked at the statistics, the more this disease
ate at him. From that day forth he vowed to never go searching for information again. He asked his
doctors never to tell him what stage he had, how long they estimated he would live, or what
percentage chance he had to beat cancer. Stuart wanted to continue to live his life the way he has
always done. He was going to give 110% effort to beat this disease, just like he did with everything
else. There were tons of inspiring quotes in this book but this was one of my favorites, Platt (2015).
When you die, it does not mean you lose to caner, you beat cancer by how you live, why you live, and
in the matter in which you live (p.261). It is hard enough for a cancer patient to deal with everything
have going on after they are told they have cancer, but it is devastating to have to tell the ones you

Religion During The Enlightenment Era
The kingdom of God does not rule! During the enlightenment era, philosophers from Europe began to
question the standard practices used to maintain the social order of society. The concepts of religion,
government, and politics were all called into question by the great thinkers of Europe during this time.
Baruch Spinoza, Voltaire, and David Hume were 3 great thinkers of the enlightenment era who
questioned the role of religion in maintaining social order (Thinkers of the Enlightenment). Baruch
Spinoza, Voltaire, and David Hume were all important philosophers who helped decrease the power of
the church in Europe during the Enlightenment Era.
To begin, Baruch Spinoza, a Dutch Jewish philosopher during the Enlightenment era, began to
examine the belief systems of Judaism and Christianity (Thinkers of the Enlightenment). Spinoza did
believe in god but he did not support the practice of organized religion or the following of religious
scriptures (Thinkers of the Enlightenment).Spinoza felt strongly that ethics determined by rational
thought were more important as a guide to conduct than religion (Thinkers of the Enlightenment).

highlights the young and old, realist and idealist, as well as the ideal utopia and bounded

story of Gu Qing, a Chinese Communist Party (CCP) soldier sent out among the peasants in Northern

San Cong Si De epitomises the notion of the traditional female virtues in China at the time, which
Cuiqiao is tied to. In the very male oriented and traditional values of the village, Gu Qing presented
himself as a catalyst for change in the eyes of Hanhan and more particularly, Cui qiao. Both Hanhan
and Cuiqiao are attracted to the promises of the CR for a better life; especially intriguing to Cuiqiao
are the promises of better equality for women that women under the CR can learn to read, write, and
even fight. This is reflected in the scene when Cuiqiao notices Gu Qing s ability to sew his own
clothes. She tells him she is impressed by his ability, to which he replies that women in the South
(Communist camp) cut their hair, and become soldiers to fight against the Japanese, just like men.
Hanhan s character in the film appears to be subtly comical, as well as rather silent and expressionless
throughout the majority of the film. As Hanhan got more acquainted with Gu Qing, he also got more
verbal. This reflects Hanhan s possible oppression of being unable to voice his own opinions, as well
as suggesting his character being overwhelmed by his living condition and social boundaries. He
appears to be a caring brother to Cuiqiao, but is helpless in verbally aiding his sister s pre prescribed
life of forced marriage and duties as a female. Hanhan s character becomes closer to Gu Qing,

T-Cell Epitopes
Although there is a number of therapeutic vaccines which successfully aids in inducing immune
responses particular to HCV, there is no complete vaccine that prevents HCV infection or lowers the
viral concentration. Hence, the research for HCV infection focuses on developing various vaccines for
HCV. The ideal HCV vaccine should extract and contain several features such as a high titer and long
lasting, and widespread anti envelope antibodies that can acknowledge and neutralize epitopes.
Additionally, it should be effective in generating robust, multispecific cellular immune response,
which contains both helper and cytotoxic T lymphocytes. Lastly, the vaccine should be aimed at the

The majority of the individuals who are infected with the HCV virus are unaware of their condition
due to the low rate of HCV testing and the lack of information regarding their test results. In 2011, the
US Department of Health and Human services issued an, Action Plan for the Prevention, Care and
Treatment of Viral Hepatitis, which stated some factors that halt the prevention of the infection. One
of the factors is the low level of awareness by the general public. Knowledge about HCV is commonly
limited to the general public. In a consumer marketing survey including 4071 participants conducted
in 2010 by the HealthStyles, 41% of respondents disagreed with the statement which asked if they
were knowledgeable about viral hepatitis. Many participants noted that they assumed they had been
tested for HCV when a blood test was run during their regular physical examination. In 2012,
campaigns such as, Know More Hepatitis, launched by the CDC, helped raise awareness of the virus

Fay Weldon Letters To Alice
(THESIS) Jane Austen s didactic novel Pride and Prejudice (1813), written during the patriarchal
Victorian Era examines the intricate relationship between love and financial security in marriages.
Similarly, Fay Weldon s postmodernist epistolary novel Letters to Alice (1984) argues for the
importance of morally instructive texts as well as supporting the importance of finding a balance
between love and financial security within marriage. (CONC SENT)
By examining Austen s Pride and Prejudice in conjunction with Weldon s feminist assessment of
Regency values, an enhanced understanding of the institution of marriage is achieved. Austen,
influenced by Regency philosopher John Locke explores the importance of attaining a marriage which

In 1978, Julie Hayward became the first female to receive equal pay after the amended Equal pay Act
promoting the belief the modern day women need not depend upon her husband for financial security.
Now, Austen mocks Mrs Bennet s obsession with marrying her daughters in the third person narration
To know that her daughter would be married was enough. She was not humbled by any remembrance
of her misconduct . In response, Weldon admits I take a very tender view of Mrs Bennet, more tender
than her creator does. But I am looking at a society from the outside in, not the inside out. educing
pathos for the difficulties faced by Victorian mothers from the readers by demonstrating the greater
significance of marrying one s children as only 30% of women married during Victorian England as
opposed to the 1980s where marriage has become trivialised to the stuff of women s magazines .
Furthermore, the Aunt s series of questions to Alice What do your parents say? Aren t you excited?
Will you settle down to be a writer or will you go to UCLA as planned? promotes the values instilled
by the first two waves of feminism supporting female education and autonomy challenging the notion
females need to marry for economic advantage in the modern world. However, Weldon s analogy of
the pretty girl from Java marries the rancher from Australia...to escape hunger and poverty
paradoxically criticises claims of female autonomy being achieved as though large advancements have
been made in developed nations, these are not consistent across all nations. Thus, Weldon comments
upon Austen s characterisation of marriages to develop an assessment of the advancement of female
rights since the Victorian

The End Of Apathy Analysis
Ram Parso Summer Assignment UHD 15 August 2015 The End of Apathy Apathy for change? Is an
ambivalent question that can be negative or positive, and I have noticed an obstacle in my community
that relates to the words care and change. Obstacles, hurdles, and complications tend to sound abrasive
in a manner, but the irony behind the true definition of those words leaves a person gratified with
morals and stories. Since the progression of human connectivity humans have evolved with the fast
pace of life which blocks will for change due to selfishness, laziness, and stupidity. In your
community How commonly do you hear that people don t care? Or How many times have You said I

But the opposite; people have evolved from the Stone Age and has solved daunting conundrums which
proves that we are intelligent and eccentric and we do care about change. Imagine if Thomas Edison
didn t care to invent electricity despite failing a thousand times the new would not have all these
electricity based instruments. The environment we live has developed a habit of being or putting
obstacles in our way, but we can change them like I mentioned. So in conclusion my sole message is
that apathy about change can be redefined, not as one inner disorder, but as a social barrier that
emphasizes disengagement. If we believe that one person trying to make a change is futile and our
neighbors are stupid, lazy, and selfish then there s no chance for change. So just like it s not easy to
break a bundle of sticks together; we, people, can collectively dissect obstacles by being united,
responsible, and educated which can make the impossible

Goldberg Machine Vs Google Docs
The need for social ingenuity is more important than the need of technological ingenuity.
Our experience with both, the Rube Goldberg machine and the Google Docs document to generate
class notes support the author s central argument, we may be creating a world that is too complex and
unpredictable to manage. This can be demonstrated in three different ways, by showing how a greater
complexity can lead to greater problems, by explaining how the mesoscale affects us, and by showing
how a solution may open a gap rather than solving a problem. the author of the book has traveled all
over the world to find a solution (if one there is) to the growing complexities of the world we live in,
mostly to justify one of his book s main ideas, a greater ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
We can compare this with the Rube Goldberg machine because of several similitudes, for example in
order for the Rube Goldberg machine to work and achieve its simple task, every single one of its steps
has to achieve its purpose, if one of the steps fail the rest of the machine fails as well. This is a clear
example of why complexity could appear unmanageable sometimes, there are many factors to
consider, and as the machine becomes more and more complex there will be more and more problems.
This is because perfection is unachievable and the closer we get to it the more problems we will have
to face, by reason of that perfection can be compared to an asymptote , which means that we can just
approach it but never reach

Importance Of Friendship In The Great Gatsby
Merriam Webster defines a friend as One attached to another by affection or esteem . Our success and
lives as a whole are altogether based on relationships we create and what we do with them.
Communication and the ability to work with others is a basic and required skill in every field of our
lives, whether it s applying for a job, meeting with a teacher, talking to a parent or simply spending
time with family and friends. It is something taught to preschoolers on their first day and used until
their final few. To survive, we must meet basic needs known as food, water, shelter and, clothing.
Friendship should be acknowledged in this list as a need of each person. By displaying the relationship
of Lennie Small and George Milton in Of Mice and Men, John Steinbeck portrays this need for
friendship. F. Scott Fitzgerald portrays this idea as well through, Jay Gatsby and Nick Carraway in
The Great Gatsby. Friendship is a basic need of any human, needed to survive and thrive in our
everyday lives.
In The Great Gatsby, Nick and Gatsby needed one another to be successful in each aspect of their
lives, their friendship is one unique to both the story and themselves. From the start, Nick was always
intrigued by Gatsby and sought out to find more about him, the truth about him. He knew Gatsby was
special, unlike anyone he had met before. It was only in his best interest to hold onto such a striking
friend with a tenacious grip, It was one of those rare smiles with a quality of

My Journey
The journey of life is not meant to be feared and planned; it s meant to be traveled and enjoyed.
Waking up every morning, I still can t believe it s been almost two years since I moved to America. I
mean it s crazy, one year ago all the street signs are in Chinese and the next thing you know I wake up
in a world of English. I can still remember the day I step off the airplane, it was a day that changed my
life. Some of my friends were amazed by how quickly I adapted to America, but that s not true. I had a
transition year when I was 13. I have to say; I m feeling very different from two years ago when I first
walk into a world where everyone speaks English. What most of my friends don t know is that I didn t
go to Jericho straightway; I was in Syosset for 8th grade. I remember walking into the building for the
first time. My heart was pounding; I was sweating. I reported to the administrator, and I was taken to
the classroom by the social study teacher (kind of a leading teacher of the class). I walked through the
classroom door, and I sort of had a panic attack when everybody looked at me. God, I really wish I
was dead or something at that moment. I have to say how I landed in that school was a mystery to
solve. In the entire school building including staff members, I m probably the only atheist there. Every
Wednesday the whole class spends about 3 periods on Mass. On my first Wednesday there, which is
surprising also my first day there, I felt

Essay about American Society in the 1920’s
In the nineteen twenty s there were several factors that contribute to the changes in American society.
After World War One many Americans were fed up with President Wilson and his liberal policies. The
frustrations were evident because the people voted the Republicans into office the first elections in the
nineteen twenty s. The presidency brought fourth the new conservative area and the Republicans gain
their power back after the electing President Harding.
However, President Harding died before he could finish his presidency in 1923, and Vice President
Calvin Coolidge took the office as President. He was also reelected in the nineteen twenty four

Also In the nineteen twenty s there was a great separation between high culture and pop culture in the
nineteen twenty s. Leaders of the ex patriot movement dominated the individualistic writing, poetry
became more experimental and classical music was dominated by modernism. As a whole the high
culture of the nineteen twenty s was characterized by the expression of the artists.
Also in the nineteen twenty s the pop culture thrived, movies were popular; radio became a form of
entertainment and jazz developed as a new form of music.
During this time people were distinguished by conflicts. Prohibition was passed, however it was not
enforced. Prohibition was put in place to stop the sale, manufacture or transport of illegal alcoholic
beverages. It was design to stop people from drinking, but it just created a large number of bootleggers
who supplied the public with illegal alcohol. Many of these bootleggers became rich and influential by
selling alcohol. Great technological advances were made and inventions such as cars and radios
improve life of the American people. With this added technology the economy experienced
tremendous growth. The nation s income rose from seventy four billion to eighty nine billion by
nineteen twenty nine.
Wages increased as fast as productivity increased. However when production cost fell, wages rose
slowly and prices remained constant.

Not as expected, the first year of two child policy was not a good enough start for the rulers. As of
December 2014, there are only less than one million pairs of couples give birth on their second child,
while the official was expected to increase each year about 200 million people.
There might be many reasons behind the fact that not each couple are dieing to have a second child,
such as the concern about the quantity quality tradeoff (Liu, 2014), or simply because they do not like
child. The key factor plays a role here is apparently the cost of having and raising a child can be really
high in China. Before bearing a child, a couple are expected to own their house property. That means
to buy an apartment with salary of about four to 6 years after college. A purchased house means
stability and reliability in traditional Chinese value. Although the fact is that many new couples are
living in a renting apartment or saddling a huge amount of loans. Since the rates of house property is
irrationally high in China in consideration with the income, most couple consider paying off the

Democratic-Republic Party Essay
The care of human life and happiness, and not their destruction, is the first and only object of good
government, Thomas Jefferson. This quote explains one of the many reasons Jefferson created the
Democratic Republic party. The Democratic Republicans resisted the idea of a new federal
constitution, they stood for states rights in opposition to a central Govt, and strict interpretation of the
constitution. If we could, the people of 2016 America would vote for the Democratic Republic party
because of their stance on immigration, funding the national debt, and the Jay Treaty. The main idea of
the Democratic Republican party was, to represent the interest of the common free man.

At the time we were funding our national debt, we heard much about a public debt being a public
blessing, Thomas Jefferson on value of the public debt. The idea about funding the public debt was
good for the country, was constantly rejected by the Democratic Republic party, they also believed
that the plan for a national bank was completely unconstitutional. The party was appalled when they
found out Hamilton was using the public debt to solidify his party. Alexander Hamilton created the
Funding Act of 1790, this authorized the government to give the states loans for their war debts. Then
he proposed the idea to create a national bank, he believed that with the national bank he could pay of
the war debts, raise money for the country, and create a common currency. Democratic nominee
Hillary Clinton s stance on this subject is to raise taxes on the wealthy, she claims that this will not
increase the national debt. But, some politicians are skeptical of Clinton s plan, they believe that,
although it would increase the debt it would also make about the same in profit. The Democratic
Republicans also deemed this unconstitutional, for this subject I believe that the Americans of 2016
would have voted for the Democratic Republican party. Mostly because, today our debt is still rising,
even though the national bank and paying our debt off, has been established since Hamilton created
the act.

It was not the outwardly influences but the racism within the community that has been a powerful

The first chapter opens the doorway to Pearl and May s acquired taste and lives over a conversation
during dinner with their parents. However, the atmosphere is quite cringe worthy, as their father
criticizes Pearl for her failing beauty and personality. In her opinion, she is beautiful but for her
parents she is like a South China peasant . Being from bourgeois class they belonged to a prosperous

She faced criticism of being taller I m taller than my father, which he loathes. We live in Shanghai,
where the tallest car, the tallest wall, or the tallest building sends a clear and unwavering message that
the owner is a person of great importance. I am not a person of importance also people called her

Airway Obstruction In COPD
The presence of airflow obstruction which is largely irreversible is a major feature of COPD. It is
proposed to be the result of a combination of small airways narrowing, airway wall inflammation [89]
and emphysema related loss of lung elastic recoil [1, 90, 91]. The pathologic features of COPD are
structural changes of the lung, including emphysema and small airway remodelling [92]. Small airway
remodelling in COPD is characterized by adventitial fibrosis and mucus cell hyperplasia, and may
involve increased airway smooth muscle (ASM) mass, particularly in severe disease [92 96]. This is
indicated by persistent infiltration of inflammatory cells, including macrophages, neutrophils and T
and B lymphocytes in the airway wall [94 96]. Small airway remodelling could also result from direct
effects of CS and LPS exposure on structural cells of the airway wall, independent of inflammation
[9]. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Evaluating The Quality Improvement Initiative And...
The Evaluation Plan Many different conceptual models exist for evaluating a process. An evaluation is
a necessary step to determine how well a process is working and if the targets are being met. The
measurements in a quality improvement project are important to assess where the organization stands
with the project, and to determine success of the project (Sadeghi, Barzi, Mikhail, Shabot, 2013).
There are both financial performance metrics and quality performance metrics that are used in
healthcare to determine success. The purpose of this paper is to propose on outline for evaluating the
quality improvement initiative and financial implications, along with giving a description of specific
metrics. A recommendation will be discussed as to how the organization can represent the data related
to the quality improvement issue for ongoing monitoring. Also, there will be an explanation of how
the organization can create an integrated view of performance that links finance and quality.
Methods for Evaluating
To improve the quality, safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of patient care, applying research and
evidence based practice is necessary. In the Institute of Medicine s report, Keeping Patient Safe:
Transforming the Work Environment of Nurses, there is an emphasis on adequate nurse staffing
(Hickey Brosnan, 2012). Therefore, the quality improvement initiative is to focus on closing the gap
between the core staffing and actual staffing in a six week schedule.

Steele Creek Analysis : Andrew Lai 10F
During the many sessions we had to investigate and research the health and condition of Steele Creek;
at the same time we also hypothesized that If the results indicate that Steele Creek is in the optimum
range for damselfly nymphs then damselfly nymphs will be abundant. The many experiments we
conducted on the creek provided us with crucial findings that showed Steele Creek was in the lower
range of good health . The several experiments we conducted consisted of a: Habitat Survey, Soil
Analysis, Water Analysis and Macro Invertebrate Identification. These tests were restricted to the
section we chose of Steele Creek (excluding the Macro Invertebrate test) . This allowed us to compare
an array of aspects of Steele Creek s water such as pH level and turbidity , giving us an insight into the
kind of species that the Steele Creek habitat could sustain and the very nature of it. The fact that the
the investigations were conducted at different times, dates and conditions, suggests a possible
variation in our results.

  • 2. Essay Ambivalence and Death in Shakespeare s Hamlet In act IV, scene III, Shakespeare addresses the play s themes and messages; those being ambivalence and how people are one and the same in the end of life. Hamlet speaks in an eccentric riddle form but there are underlying messages communicated through Hamlet s craziness and Claudius confusion. The ideas are conversed through Claudius and Hamlet and convey the morals of the drama, Hamlet. Shakespeare also takes the liberty in this section to show how diverse and opposite the characters of Claudius and Hamlet are by differentiating their literary devices. Although Hamlet and Claudius are related to one another by the law and by both of their needs to achieve self fulfillment; In act IV, scene III, it is clearly conveyed how the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...  In addition to the sentence length and the content, Shakespeare shows the distinct difference between Hamlet s quick thinking wittiness and Claudius slow uncertainty. Shakespeare dictated in the script that Claudius was to talk with [fiery quickness] (48) during the dialogue where he is telling Hamlet off; this section of lines is inferring that Claudius lines have been delayed and not very powerful up to that point. In this particular scene, it is quite apparent that Claudius does not know what to make of Hamlet s riddles. For instance, (To the attendants) Go seek him there. (41), states that Claudius is quite slow on the uptake. Hamlet just told Claudius that Polonius body was up the stairs into the lobby (40 41) which was up in heaven or hell, whichever the reader chose. Since Claudius tells his servants to go find him there, it shows that he is not able to grasp Hamlet s intended meaning, which is bi polar opposite of Hamlet s witty character. Another device Shakespeare crafted into the script to highlight their differences was to have Hamlet speak about the Fat King and the Lean Beggar (26). Both the adjectives and the nouns are opposites, which subliminally spotlight the differences in this segment of the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

This has lead the demand for surgical services to grow rapidly in the past decade. The ambulatory surgery in United States hospitals had increased to 2.9 million procedures, according to the data from American Hospital Association. As medical technology has developed day by day, some hospitals have introduced digital operating room, tele surgery, and robotic assistants. These modern technologies can offer shorter hospital stays, less pain, faster recovery and fewer complications. However, many new technologies come with many requirement checks, safety checks, etc. that cause a delay with the pre surgical check. In general, surgical services cost about 40% of the hospital s overall revenue. However, operating room performance has many issues that cause inefficiencies and delays in the operation. A study shows that if the hospitals can operate one more procedure per day per operation room, it could translate to an additional $4 million to $7 million in annual revenue. Summary A large number of hospitals are having a delay in processing time. They are expecting six sigma to be a useful tool to enhance the quality of operating room process. Enzyme purpose is to increase the rate of activity and speed up chemical reaction in a form of biological catalysts. The enzymes specialize in lowering the activation energy to start the process. Enzymes are very specific in their process, each substrate is designed to fit with a specific substrate and the enzyme and substrate link at the active site. The binding of a substrate to the active site of an enzyme is a very specific interaction. Active sites are clefts or grooves on the surface of an enzyme, usually composed of amino acids from different parts of the polypeptide chain that are brought together in the tertiary structure of the folded protein. Substrates initially bind to the active site by noncovalent interactions, including hydrogen bonds, ionic bonds, and hydrophobic interactions. Once a substrate is bound to the active site of an enzyme, multiple mechanisms can accelerate its conversion to the product of the reaction. But sometimes, these enzymes fail or succeed to increase the rate of action because of various factors that limit the action. These factors can be known as temperature, acidity levels (pH), enzyme and/or substrate concentration, etc. In this experiment, it will be tested how much of an effect ... Commonly referred to as the Washington for South American revolutions (Slatta 3), Bolivar, has undoubtedly had a profound influence on the political state of South America; but as Washington got rid of colonialists of one country, Bolivar liberated six from Spanish rule. Although he managed to attain such a feat, historians often debate over the extent of his influence and success, some even regarding him as a failure. As a liberator who scorned liberalism, a soldier who disparaged militarism, a republican who admired monarchy (Lynch 1), Bolivar s legacy has many different analyses. • 10. Analysis Of The Story Paulie Calafiore 1. Paulie Calafiore Well, it just seems he is marching his way to victory and no one cares. Paulie has the entire house in the palm of his hands and they will do whatever he states. Paul did his dirty work for him this week by taking Da vonne out for him, someone who was loyal to Paul and not coming after him. Props to the game that Paulie is playing, but I feel the double eviction is where he is he most vulnerable. 2. James Huling James may not be playing the game hard and while he s currently a minion of Paulie s, his game is a deep threat game. He is not currently being targeted by anyone and his social game is pretty good. I think the house really respected his move to take out Frank, but James is going to have to be the onet to take down Paulie if he wants to win. 3. Corey Brooks It seems with each passing week that Corey becomes safer and safer. I have yet to hear anyone target him and he is very likely to survive the block over Nicole. He s not really good in competitions and that s another thing that makes him less threatening. But Corey will need to make a move if he wants any chance at the jury respecting him. 4. Paul Abrahamian Despite his bad move to target Da vonne who was not coming after him, he is still in a good position and that has a lot to do with Paulie. • 11. Cordelia As A Christ-Like Figure In Ian Hunter s King Lear Cordelia as a Christ like figure is understandable based on the answer she gives her father in response to his question of love. Does she love him as her sisters do? Goneril and Regan give unabashedly extravagant answers that contain nothing more than empty flattery and meaningless words of love. However, Cordelia is the only daughter who gives an honest answer to his question. In the play King Lear, Cordelia responds, Unhappy that I am, I cannot heave/ My heart into my mouth. I love your majesty/ According to my bond; no more, no less (I.i.90 92). Cordelia accepts the king as her father and her sovereign, and she loves him accordingly, but he is not a God like figure to her. Honesty, in this instance, is more important to King Lear s youngest daughter, rather than ego stroking. When she answers that she cannot heave her heart into her mouth, she understands that she will not baste him in meaningless flattery just to gain his wealth. This is the moment in the play that Cordelia s virtue and love are revealed, setting into motion the idea that she is a Christ like figure. Ian Hunter, author of the Christian article Lear, Cordelia, the Cross presumes the play is more than just an allegory to parts of the Bible. He compares this play to John Milton s Paradise Lost. Hunter states that the conversation between Lear and Kent in which Kent is banished reveals another key element to the play. A person enters a department store, specialty store or a grocery store, selects an item or more then proceeds to checkout. A form of currency is exchanged and voilà, business has been done. When children are asked what a business person does, the usual reply is that a business person wears a suit and rides a train to work. While the everyday child and the Average Joe may be seen as business knowledge novices, they certain have heard many key words in business formations. An example would be a professional sports athlete. The agent works on behalf of the athlete and has a contract detailing the work and the compensation received. Business also has different types of organizations, to include partnerships, franchises and corporations. How these entities can be formed, their types and the powers they hold will be discussed. It is also important in business to know who is in charge, who runs the business and who can decide what the business will do in the present and the future. Introduction Maya Angelou, a famous African American poet, once said, We all should know that diversity makes for a rich tapestry, and we must understand that all the threads of the tapestry are equal in value no matter what their colour, (Angelou Johnson, 2014). This quote shows how cultural diversity is widely believed to be a benefit to society, but how do these benefits stretch to the context of a business? This review will be looking into literature surrounding the question, what are the key outcomes of creating and managing a culturally diverse working environment? Over 20 years ago, a prediction was made that the demographics of the workforce would start to change significantly and researchers and writers began endorsing the need for organisations to create supportive workplaces where diversity is valued, (Cox, 1994). They have argued that diversity is a double edged sword; it has the potential for positive and negative outcomes, (Chrobot Mason Aramovich, 2013). Chrobot Mason and Aramovich (2013) also added that the way to ensure positive outcomes from diversity was the effective management of the workplace. This review will be exploring how effective management of a diverse workforce can bring about positive outcomes for employees and whole organisations through increased senses of identity for workers leading to lower turnover rates, and increased innovation within an organisation. Both Hanhan and Cuiqiao are attracted to the promises of the CR for a better life; especially intriguing to Cuiqiao are the promises of better equality for women that women under the CR can learn to read, write, and even fight. Communication and the ability to work with others is a basic and required skill in every field of our lives, whether it s applying for a job, meeting with a teacher, talking to a parent or simply spending time with family and friends. It is something taught to preschoolers on their first day and used until their final few. To survive, we must meet basic needs known as food, water, shelter and, clothing. Friendship should be acknowledged in this list as a need of each person. By displaying the relationship of Lennie Small and George Milton in Of Mice and Men, John Steinbeck portrays this need for friendship. F. Scott Fitzgerald portrays this idea as well through, Jay Gatsby and Nick Carraway in The Great Gatsby. Friendship is a basic need of any human, needed to survive and thrive in our everyday lives. It was only in his best interest to hold onto such a striking friend with a tenacious grip, It was one of those rare smiles with a quality of ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 29. My Journey The journey of life is not meant to be feared and planned; it s meant to be traveled and enjoyed. Waking up every morning, I still can t believe it s been almost two years since I moved to America. I mean it s crazy, one year ago all the street signs are in Chinese and the next thing you know I wake up in a world of English. I can still remember the day I step off the airplane, it was a day that changed my life. Some of my friends were amazed by how quickly I adapted to America, but that s not true. I had a transition year when I was 13. I have to say; I m feeling very different from two years ago when I first walk into a world where everyone speaks English. What most of my friends don t know is that I didn t go to Jericho straightway; I was in Syosset for 8th grade. I remember walking into the building for the first time. My heart was pounding; I was sweating. I reported to the administrator, and I was taken to the classroom by the social study teacher (kind of a leading teacher of the class). I walked through the classroom door, and I sort of had a panic attack when everybody looked at me. God, I really wish I was dead or something at that moment. I have to say how I landed in that school was a mystery to solve. In the entire school building including staff members, I m probably the only atheist there. Every Wednesday the whole class spends about 3 periods on Mass. On my first Wednesday there, which is surprising also my first day there, I felt ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Also In the nineteen twenty s there was a great separation between high culture and pop culture in the nineteen twenty s. Leaders of the ex patriot movement dominated the individualistic writing, poetry became more experimental and classical music was dominated by modernism. As a whole the high culture of the nineteen twenty s was characterized by the expression of the artists. Also in the nineteen twenty s the pop culture thrived, movies were popular; radio became a form of entertainment and jazz developed as a new form of music. During this time people were distinguished by conflicts. Prohibition was passed, however it was not enforced. Prohibition was put in place to stop the sale, manufacture or transport of illegal alcoholic beverages. It was design to stop people from drinking, but it just created a large number of bootleggers who supplied the public with illegal alcohol. Many of these bootleggers became rich and influential by selling alcohol. Great technological advances were made and inventions such as cars and radios improve life of the American people. With this added technology the economy experienced tremendous growth. The nation s income rose from seventy four billion to eighty nine billion by nineteen twenty nine. The Child Policy Can Improve The Health Of The Economy central government, through the two child policy can China reach to Optimize the demographic structure, increase labor s supply, ease pressure from the aging population, help improving the health of the economy, innovative, coordinated, green, open, and shared by all. By 2020 the country will complete tackling regional poverty to build China into a moderately prosperous society in all aspects. Not as expected, the first year of two child policy was not a good enough start for the rulers. As of December 2014, there are only less than one million pairs of couples give birth on their second child, while the official was expected to increase each year about 200 million people. There might be many reasons behind the fact that not each couple are dieing to have a second child, such as the concern about the quantity quality tradeoff (Liu, 2014), or simply because they do not like child. The key factor plays a role here is apparently the cost of having and raising a child can be really high in China. Before bearing a child, a couple are expected to own their house property. That means to buy an apartment with salary of about four to 6 years after college. A purchased house means stability and reliability in traditional Chinese value. Although the fact is that many new couples are living in a renting apartment or saddling a huge amount of loans. Since the rates of house property is irrationally high in China in consideration with the income, most couple consider paying off the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

This quote explains one of the many reasons Jefferson created the Democratic Republic party. The Democratic Republicans resisted the idea of a new federal constitution, they stood for states rights in opposition to a central Govt, and strict interpretation of the constitution. If we could, the people of 2016 America would vote for the Democratic Republic party because of their stance on immigration, funding the national debt, and the Jay Treaty. The main idea of the Democratic Republican party was, to represent the interest of the common free man. Immigration has always been an important topic in today s political ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... At the time we were funding our national debt, we heard much about a public debt being a public blessing, Thomas Jefferson on value of the public debt. The idea about funding the public debt was good for the country, was constantly rejected by the Democratic Republic party, they also believed that the plan for a national bank was completely unconstitutional. The party was appalled when they found out Hamilton was using the public debt to solidify his party. Alexander Hamilton created the Funding Act of 1790, this authorized the government to give the states loans for their war debts. Then he proposed the idea to create a national bank, he believed that with the national bank he could pay of the war debts, raise money for the country, and create a common currency. Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton s stance on this subject is to raise taxes on the wealthy, she claims that this will not increase the national debt. But, some politicians are skeptical of Clinton s plan, they believe that, although it would increase the debt it would also make about the same in profit. The Democratic Republicans also deemed this unconstitutional, for this subject I believe that the Americans of 2016 would have voted for the Democratic Republican party. Mostly because, today our debt is still rising, even though the national bank and paying our debt off, has been established since Hamilton created the act. ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 35. Airway Obstruction In COPD The presence of airflow obstruction which is largely irreversible is a major feature of COPD. It is proposed to be the result of a combination of small airways narrowing, airway wall inflammation [89] and emphysema related loss of lung elastic recoil [1, 90, 91]. The pathologic features of COPD are structural changes of the lung, including emphysema and small airway remodelling [92]. Small airway remodelling in COPD is characterized by adventitial fibrosis and mucus cell hyperplasia, and may involve increased airway smooth muscle (ASM) mass, particularly in severe disease [92 96]. This is indicated by persistent infiltration of inflammatory cells, including macrophages, neutrophils and T and B lymphocytes in the airway wall [94 96]. Small airway remodelling could also result from direct effects of CS and LPS exposure on structural cells of the airway wall, independent of inflammation [9]. ... • 37. Evaluating The Quality Improvement Initiative And... The Evaluation Plan Many different conceptual models exist for evaluating a process. An evaluation is a necessary step to determine how well a process is working and if the targets are being met. The measurements in a quality improvement project are important to assess where the organization stands with the project, and to determine success of the project (Sadeghi, Barzi, Mikhail, Shabot, 2013). There are both financial performance metrics and quality performance metrics that are used in healthcare to determine success. The purpose of this paper is to propose on outline for evaluating the quality improvement initiative and financial implications, along with giving a description of specific metrics. A recommendation will be discussed as to how the organization can represent the data related to the quality improvement issue for ongoing monitoring. Also, there will be an explanation of how the organization can create an integrated view of performance that links finance and quality. Methods for Evaluating To improve the quality, safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of patient care, applying research and evidence based practice is necessary. In the Institute of Medicine s report, Keeping Patient Safe: Transforming the Work Environment of Nurses, there is an emphasis on adequate nurse staffing (Hickey Brosnan, 2012). Therefore, the quality improvement initiative is to focus on closing the gap between the core staffing and actual staffing in a six week schedule. ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Steele Creek Analysis Essay Steele Creek Analysis : Andrew Lai 10F During the many sessions we had to investigate and research the health and condition of Steele Creek; at the same time we also hypothesized that If the results indicate that Steele Creek is in the optimum range for damselfly nymphs then damselfly nymphs will be abundant. The many experiments we conducted on the creek provided us with crucial findings that showed Steele Creek was in the lower range of good health . The several experiments we conducted consisted of a: Habitat Survey, Soil Analysis, Water Analysis and Macro Invertebrate Identification. These tests were restricted to the section we chose of Steele Creek (excluding the Macro Invertebrate test) . This allowed us to compare an array of aspects of Steele Creek s water such as pH level and turbidity , giving us an insight into the kind of species that the Steele Creek habitat could sustain and the very nature of it. The fact that the the investigations were conducted at different times, dates and conditions, suggests a possible variation in our results.
