It involves technology and computers, parts of networking and the beginning is just visual aid that the presenter will make a speech of they're own. Its the metaphor for how networks are made.

A modem is a device that
converts analog signals
(such as from a phone line)
to digital signals that can be

Modems are typically used

A router is a networking

smart home devices, to a
network. It is responsible for
directing the data packets

internet.

13. What is a HUB?
A hub is a basically multi-port
repeater. A hub connects multiple
wires coming from different
branches, for example, the
connector in star topology which
connects different stations. Hubs
cannot filter data, so data packets
are sent to all connected devices.

A network switch is
networking hardware that
connects devices on a
computer network by using
packet switching to receive
and forward data to the
destination device.

An access point is a device
that allows wireless devices,
such as laptops, smart

broadcast a wireless signal
