10. Accessing SSD1
Log into AKO to access the course, you cannot log in until the day the course begins
so if you are in the 1 Dec class you will not have access until 1 Dec
Type in “1-250-C49-1” in the Crs Nbr and click search.
Choose the time frame you would like.
Click Agree after you have read and understand.
Choose log in method, must have an active AKO password.
Fill out all of your personal information and click Submit Application.
You will receive the following e mail in up to 24 hours.
Log onto AKO, click Self Service, click My Training.
Scroll down and click Access the ALMS
Click on Current Enrollments
SSD1 is broke down into 4 Modules with a separate examination for each exam.
When you open each Module you will have a variety of subjects to go thru. Click the Launch button to open the presentation.

Ensure you keep the page on the left open otherwise it will close the lesson. Some of the course material can not be skipped! Make sure your computer has speakers!
When you click on any of the references on the right it will pop up automatically to the applicable references.
After the unit is complete it will say successful and you will click the next section of the module.
Each sub course is broke down into multiple section
In the lesson you will be asked a series of questions, some multiple choice, some fill in the blank and some matching. Depending on the type of question you have any where from one attempt to three to get it right. If you do not get it correct you will be referred to the lesson.
Generally you will be referred to the question that you got wrong. From there you will click return and you will begin the set of questions which may not be the same that you were asked. Barror
On questions like the one above you must be very specific. The answer to this question could be “will not, won’t, can’t” but it is only one of these. You must chose the correct format for the answer, you will be incorrect if you do not use exactly what they are looking for.
After all of Module 1 is complete click on the exam to complete the module. Be advised if you click ok here and do not finish the exam you will be counted as a failed attempt
On the Home page of ALMS in the Link portion click the Help Center option .
Click on the “Ask a Question/Submit a Comment” tab and fill out the information. If you do a screen shot of your issue this will expedite getting your issue fixed.
