attributions people make
1. Dispositional attributions- which
ascribe a person’s behaviour to internal
factors, personality traits, motivation &
ability.

a person’s behaviour to external factors
such as equipment and social influence
from others.
19. ATTRIBUTION THEORY
views the process by which individuals
interpret events around them as being caused
by a relatively stable portion of their
environment.

as based on people’s attributions of
causes to events that happen to them.

behaves similarly in different situations,
2.CONSISTENCY- is the degree to which a person
engages in the same behaviors at the same time.
3.CONSENSUS –is the degree to which other people are
engaging in the same behaviour.

U.S it is a sign of disrespect.
