Keep things consistent but try avoiding the basic powerpoint templates, people have already seen them countless times. Try making custom templates with a professional touch, this will help your presentation stick out from the rest.
Depending on the chart, you will want to show certain information. For example, with a pie chart you might want to show only percentages.
Color evokes feelings. Color is emotional. The right color can help persuade and motivate. Studies show that color usage can increase interest and improve learning comprehension and retention.
The fonts that are mostly recommended are Times, Arial Black, and Arial. Avoid using Helvetica, keep things easy to read and professional.
Use video and audio when appropriate. Using video clips to show concrete examples promotes active cognitive processing, which is the natural way people learn.
