Each individual gets an actionable list of tasks for each

a clear picture of where projects stand compared to
established timelines and budget projections.

Scheduling. Clarizen makes it easy to identify the right person for the job by skillset, cost, as well as through custom
calendars that track current and available workload and holidays. Even non-human resources like workspace or
machinery can be scheduled using Clarizen.
Collaboration and Content Management. Users can easily upload files, URL’s or Google Doc links, as well as
notes, email and chat, ensuring these crucial supporting data are communicated in context, and tied to the relevant
project.
Clarizen InterAct™ Email Integration. Using patent-pending technology, Clarizen gives users the ability to
convert email into action. Email can be used to initiate or update projects, submit issues or bugs, or control a
stopwatch to log time for a given project. All mail systems are supported – including mobile devices – and no plugins
are required.
Resource Planning. The resource load simulation feature works alongside enhanced personal calendars to give
you a real-time view of your team’s capacity and current load. Groups can be created based on skillset, job titles or
other criteria to help you select the right person for a project. Even external users can be included, with the ability to
control how much detail you want them to see within Clarizen. Further, Clarizen makes it possible to have unlimited,
free email-only users. These are resources who can use email to submit task updates directly to Clarizen, but do not
need full access to the centralized Clarizen environment.
Issue Management. As projects develop, issues and requests inevitably arise. Clarizen logs these requests, issues,
or bugs and ensures that they can be prioritized and handled with maximum efficiency, and the results clearly
communicated back to the originator.
Budget Tracking. Teams are able to define, manage and track budgets and billing rates. Full customization makes it
possible to define global hourly rates for specific roles, users or resources. Users can also see how budget projections
map to actual reported hours, making it simple to analyze the billing status of each project, resource or client.
$ Time and Expense Tracking. The Timesheets, along with expense tracking and approvals, process can be fully
managed in Clarizen, making it possible to get a real-time view of costs and expenses at any point during a project,
and make adjustments if necessary.
Reports and Dashboards. Dozens of standard reports are available, and can be easily customized or created
toprovide real-time insight. Reports target critical deliverables, issues, timelines, budgets, resource loads, and
deadlines.
Customization. Clarizen is highly flexible , and can support customization for hundreds of custom fields and business
rules. Clarizen Apps are common or specialized customizations that can be added with a mouse-click in the Clarizen
App Marketplace.
