Death and the Qualities of a person that will bring him success in the hereafter

1. Know your Salaat; Tasbihat Al-arba'h
To be recited if one is praying a three or four Rak'at
Salat, then after reciting the Tashahud in the second
Rak'at, we immediately stand up and recite the
Tasbihat al-Arba'h three times:
• َ‫و‬ ُ‫هللا‬ َّ‫ال‬‫إ‬ َ‫ه‬‫إل‬ َ‫ال‬ َ‫و‬ ِ ‫ه‬ ِ
‫لِل‬ ُ‫د‬ْ‫م‬َ‫ح‬ْ‫ال‬ َ‫و‬ ِ‫هللا‬ َ‫ان‬َ‫ح‬ْ‫ب‬ُ‫س‬
َُُ‫ب‬ْْ‫ك‬ ُ‫هللا‬
• *Subhaanal-laahi wal-hamdu lil-laahi wa laa illaha
illal-laahu wal-laahu Akbar
• (Glory be to Allah and praise be to Allah and there
is no god except Allah and Allah is Greater than
anything else)

2. Every soul will taste
death. Then to Us will you
be returned.

3. Which of the favors of your lord will you deny?
• Without a nose, we would be able to
breath through the mouth, but we would
breathe a dirtier and drier air as our nose
filters the air
Without a nose, we would lose not only the
sense of smell and 70% of the sense of taste
also
Without a nose, we would not be
able to smell all the good smells or
be able to avoid danger by not
being able to smell bad food or
harmful chemical smells

5. IS DEATH THE END OF OUR LIFE?
• Death Is not the end!
• Death is the disconnection of our earth body
from the soul and the transfer of our soul
from this world to the next

6. The process of death can be easy just like
removing a silk cloth from a bottle
For those who have done good in
this world, kept away from evil
and the soul is clean, the
experience is pleasant
Imam Ja'far-as-Sadiq (A.S.) has said, “If a person
wishes that his last moments should be easy, he
should maintain good relations with his family, and be
kind to his parents. Whoever does so, death will be
eased, and he will never be affected by misfortunes in
his lifetime”.

7. ..Or it can be very difficult
• BUT FOR THOSE WHO HAVE DONE EVIL IN THIS WORLD
AND HAVE NOT CARED TO PURIFY THEIR SOUL- DEATH
WILL BE A VERY DIFFICULT AND PAINFUL

9. QUALITIES OF A BELIEVER (AKHLAQ)
A believer is one with whom people’s life, wealth
and dignity are secure.
His/her behavior, actions and walk are gentle and modest
Talks to people with affection and calmness and
is ready to bear pain in order to comfort others.
Is sincere In friendship and honors promises.

10. Prophet Muhammad (saw)
His message was mocked
He was stoned and chased
He was starved and denied food
Garbage was thrown on him
He was insulted
His followers were beaten and murdered
Yet, he forgave all , held no grudges, took no revenge and
faced his enemies with a loving smile

11. QUALITIES OF A BELIEVER (AKHLAQ)
Is generous without being
extravagant or wasteful.
Is is not proud or selfish.

12. QUALITIES OF A BELIEVER (AKHLAQ)
Is kind and compassionate to the poor and
weak and ready to assist in times of difficulty

14. Nabi Musa and the angel of death
Once Nabi Ibrahim was returning home, when he met a handsome person waiting for him.
Nabi ibrahim asked who he was and he said he was the angel of death. He was amazed at how
good he looked and why people feared him.
The angel said Allah (swt) send me in this form when I go to take the soul of good people, but
he sends me in a different form when I go to take out the souls of the evil

15. • Rasulallah(SAWA) said, ‘Abstaining from eating
even one morsel of prohibited food is dearer
to Allah than 1000 mustahab prayers

16. To refrain from taking one dollar of haram
(forbidden)) money is more valuable than 70
accepted hajj
imam Jaffer Al sadiq (as)

17. • Rasulallah (SAWA) said, ‘Make your earnings lawful and
your supplication will be answered, for verily when
a man raises an unlawful bite of food to his mouth,
his supplication is not answered for forty days.
