or e-waste is the term used to describe old,
end-of-life electronic appliances such as
computers, laptops, TVs, DVD players, mobile

disposed of by their original users. Obsolete
E-Assets are electronic equipment’s that are
of no use for a corporate or a community due
to advancement in the technology or a cer-
tain type of irreparable defect.

Degaussing is the process of reducing or eli-
minating an unwanted magnetic field (or
data) stored on tape and disk media such as
computer and laptop hard drives, diskettes,
reels, cassettes and cartridge tapes. Degaus-
sing is the guaranteed form of hard drive
erasure, as such; it serves as the standard
method of data destruction. After such a
process the hard drive can never be used
again.
