1. What were the major challenges that Vedantu
was facing when you made the decision to use
Apxor as a solution?
As we crafted our growth charter focusing on user
acquisition, engagement, retention, and
monetization, we recognized the need for more
concrete insights. Acknowledging a gap in user
research, we delved into qualitative studies and
offline surveys, yet faced low response rates. This
led us to seek a scalable solution, leading us to
Apxor. The integration marked the beginning of an
impactful journey to gather user feedback
seamlessly within our product flows.
2. How did Apxor help Vedantu?
Through Apxor, we've deployed over 300
surveys, reaching a user base of more than
150,000 in the last three months alone. Achieving
a remarkable response rate exceeding 50%,
compared to the typical 10% to 20%. Our ability
to gather user feedback at this scale is
unprecedented. Notably, this is accomplished
without any adverse effects on the user
experience.
3. How did Apxor help you improve your
conversion metrics?
Apxor significantly aided us in pinpointing drop-
off reasons at each funnel stage. Through
detailed feedback, we grasped user motivations
and needs, informing a more precise product
strategy and roadmap. The rich insights have
been instrumental in our development journey.
4. What was the impact of Apxor’s surveys
on your business metrics?
Apxor Surveys enhanced our understanding of
user personas, leading to increased efficiency in
sales and marketing. This resulted in a significant
improvement in ROI, saving around one crore in
costs. The insights also influenced product features
and roadmap, enabling iterative improvements for
higher ROI on sales and marketing spends.
5. Can you talk about the specific survey
which helped you save 1cr in sales costs?
In our pursuit of product-led lead qualification
for cost-effective sales, we implemented
multi-step surveys for rich user profiling.
Through progressive profiling and leveraging
data science models, we successfully
identified high-intent users. By focusing our
sales efforts on this segment, we significantly
improved sales efficiency, resulting in
substantial cost savings.
6. What are the different teams of Vedantu
that use Apxor. And how easy or difficult
did your teams find using Apxor?
Apxor's user-friendly interface made it widely
adopted in our product and business teams.
Teams across sales, marketing, and category
management found it easy to use. This
streamlined process empowered us to swiftly
launch, test, iterate, and scale new services in
under 15 minutes.
7. How was your experience with
integrating Apxor? Was it effortless?
The SDK implementation for Apxor in our mobile
app was seamless and straightforward. Setting it
up was effortless, with the Apxor team providing
assistance as needed. Performance, reliability,
and scalability were never an issue, even at a
scale of millions of users. We deployed it
smoothly, receiving real-time feedback without
any challenges.
8. With the current macroeconomic
conditions and edtech in particular, only
products that have higher ROI are seeing
retention. How important is Apxor in your
stack, can you provide any detail around
ROI?
Retaining Apxor in our product tech stack has
been a no-brainer. We have seen more than 5X
ROI with the tool. (Though we were forced to
remove some of the analytics tools from our
tech stack) Apxor has always been our hot
favorite and go-to tool.
8. With the current macroeconomic
conditions and edtech in particular, only
products that have higher ROI are seeing
retention. How important is Apxor in your
stack, can you provide any detail around
ROI?
True, the current emphasis is on ROI and
profitability. While some tools had to be let go,
Apxor has consistently delivered a solid 5X
ROI, making it a valuable and retained asset
in our ecosystem.
9. Did you get to check our newly
launched survey templates?
The team working on it, and is definitely
using it or will use it very soon. So I’m
sure they will use these newer templates
to get much more deeper feedback and
learning from our users
10. Would you recommend Apxor to other
product and growth teams?
Absolutely, a strong recommendation from
me. Rich user feedback is crucial for
enhancing product KPIs and metrics. Apxor
is a game-changer in this aspect, and I
highly recommend it.
