Persuasive Essay On Cats
Cats are more than just furry friends, if you let them into your heart they become family. I have 19
years of owning plenty of cats, and I currently have four. I love my cats, they honestly are my
family. I also have two dogs and they really do need more attention than cats, a lot more. We are all
college students, and some of us desire a companion without a ton of commitment. That is where
adopting a cat comes into play. Cats even have health benefits to them, they are scientifically
proven to reduce stress and sadness, they do not need a ton of attention (although some required
and the more the better), and if you are allergic there are even hypoallergenic breeds of cats for
you. Losing a friend or family member is truly hard, yet an easy method for coping is to adopt a
pet. Felines have been proven to help individuals to get over their misfortune more rapidly, and
show less physical indications of pain, such as crying. Despite the fact that they are only animals,
cats fill in as a social help through troublesome times. Individuals in grieving report conversing
with their pet to work out their feelings, since it is easier to talk with something that won't react and
can't judge, such as another person. Another study, conducted by the University of Minnesota in
2008, revealed that owning a cat reduces stress and anxiety, thus bringing down the risk of
cardiovascular disease. In fact, the chances of having a heart attack are reduced by 40 percent if
you own a cat. Felines

PACU Nursing Experience
Floating to the PACU was an awesome experience. In the morning prior to going to the PACU, I
was with the pre–op nurse. She explained to me what was the process to admitting new patients and
getting the necessary information before they went off to surgery. The process was fairly simple,
and she did a quick assessment before the patient sees the OR nurse and surgeon. After spending
about 45 minute in pre–op, I went to the PACU. The charge nurse Emmy oriented me to the floor.
She showed me where the patient comes from, and where they will be in the PACU. She showed
me the fire exits, isolated rooms and how to use the machines. She told me everyone in the PACU
is very experience and usually came from the NICU or ED. After being with the unit, I can see
why. I was able to interact with about 4 different nurses. All of them were very nice and welcoming.
Most nurses on the floor were...show more content...

interesting. I help the nurse hold down the patient, while the nurse was maintaining her airway. I
was able to see LMA and a endotracheal tube extubation. I really like the environment in the PACU.
There were a few times when out of nowhere patients start to desaturate and the nurse had to
respond quickly. After the patients would wake up, the nurse would just explain to them where they
were and ask them if there was any pain. I didn't witness and patient teaching while I was there.
After the patient has been stable, but are required to be monitored for more time, the nurse would

CHAPTER I
Introduction
The Philippines is an agricultural country. Almost 75% of our total
population are farmers especially in the rural areas. Therefore, the country
is producing different kinds of crops for home consumption and for the
farmers as source of livelihood. But today, we are suffering from food
shortage because of our growing population. This study aimed to help our
local farmers in terms of knowledge on how to produce sufficient crops or
even suggest alternative methods to meet the demands for food. There
are always been a need to diversify the source of income and increase food
production.
Likewise, this study extends to find out which substrate can possibly...show more content...

is usually used as an ingredient for stews and pancit . While it is not that tasty (the white stalks
tastes like paper), some varieties add a little bit of pungent flavor to the dishes it is added to.
Uses of Asbok choi
Asbok choi is used mainly for its immature, but fully expanded tender leaves. The succulent petioles
are often the preferred part. It is used as main ingredient for soup and stir–fried dishes. In Chinese
cuisine, its green petioles and leaves are also used as garnish. Pechay is a good source of calcium,
phosphorus, iron and vitamin B. Decoction of the rhizomes and young leaves can be used for
haemoptysis and coughs.
Related Studies
There are some related studies pertinent to the research. Pechay (B. Pekinesis) could be described as
a green leafy vegetable attached to a stalk. It is a variety of Brassica rapa which belongs to the
family Cruciferae (Philip's Nature Encyclopedia, 2003, p.74). It usually grows within an estimated
time of 40–60 days in a cold and moist environment. Pechay also has name variations such as "Bok
Choy/ Choi", "Pak Choy/ Choi" and "Wong Bok" in other countries. It is widely known to

Writing is way that we can express ourselves, it is a way to interface ideas and thoughts and to
prove a point. Throughout my writing experience or process I have struggled with writing
especially using details or really expressing myself my work. In this course Facts & Fiction: Portraits
in World Art I expect to gain more knowledge on how to write a perfectessay, story, letter, and
assignment. I expect to learn new genres and rhetorical situations. I also think my writing will
improve academically and I will develop my skills in writing. Also taking my writing to a different
point of view, level, and writing something different rather than the usual. I look forward to getting
feedback from my peers and learning their thoughts on my writing and how they can help me
improve.
Reading and writing were two things my parents use to always push me to improve and work on
more often. They always told me they are the essentials of everything thing. Even though I
disliked both at a young age as I grew older I preferred writing because I can always change the
way I write and write from my point of view, really be creative with it and prove my point.
Growing up I always loved writing short stories especially scary stories. I always was creative
with them and even made them realistic. To write an essay I usually have a couple of steps
writing an outline, and the thesis a draft and finally a final draft. The most difficult part about this
is writing the thesis because the whole essay revolves the thesis because it summarizes the whole
essay. At the end of some essays, I had to use citations to do that there were many websites that
helped me cite sources such as easybib which was a really simple process. So, citing sources was
one of the easiest things about writing the essay.
Writing to a teacher is way more complex then writing to a fried or a family member. Writing to a
teacher is way more complex, I must make sure that everything is on point or it reaches the state of
protection. Which is having the right format, a great thesis and really conveying the point of the
essay. Writing to a friend or a family member is much easier I usually don't focus on grammatic
errors or writing a perfect thesis. Today some of us don't

Application Essay For Physical Therapy
While there may be many experiences and attributes that I possess that will be a catalyst in my
success as a physical therapist there are three that I feel have thoroughly prepared me for the
physical therapy profession. First is the attribute of empathy. I feel that I am empathetic as a
result of growing up with an older brother who has cerebral palsy and uses a wheelchair. I can
definitively say that growing up with a sibling who has a disability has shaped me into the person
that I am today and has allowed me to develop skills in ways that others may not have been
exposed to. This experience will be valuable because when patients are receiving physical therapy,
they may feel alone and frustrated with themselves. It is important for myself,...show more content...

involved in the Slippery Rock University Winter Guard since my freshman year, which requires
much dedication and commitment. Competing in local and even international level competitions
across the country, the dedication required for membership in the guard is extraordinary. My
commitment to the winter guard as well as my determination in my studies has allowed me to prime
my time management skills to be successful in both areas without compromising the quality of my
efforts in either one. Moreover, I have also been involved in numerous volunteer opportunities
including Special Olympics, therapeutic horseback riding, and sled hockey. I also have a job at the
Student Health Center. Although I keep myself very busy, I have managed to maintain an overall

pablo picasso Essay
Pablo Picasso
Pablo Picasso was considered the greatest artist of the 20th century because of his unique styles and
techniques. Pablo Ruiz y Picasso was born in Malaga, Spain on October 25, 1881 to a professor of
art named Jose Ruiz Blanco and his wife Maria Picasso Lopez. Because of his fathers' occupation,
Picasso's talent was quickly noticed and appreciated. Don Jose, an art teacher, moved Picasso and his
family to La Coruna and then to Barcelona where he was Picasso's instructor at the fine arts
academy. At the age of 10 Picasso made his first paintings, and performed brilliantly on the entrance
exams to Barcelona's School Of Fine Arts. From there he went to the academy of San Fernando

There is little sign of life about the man, his shoulders are bony and his pose cramped, as if to
show that he finds no ease in the world around him. In 1905 close to the ending of his Blue Period
Picasso decided to move back to Paris. It was here that he met Fernande Oliver and eventually fell
in love with her. Picasso's paintings took a drastic change. He went from painting beggars and
outcast to happy, healthy circus performers and families. It was obvious that Picasso's first love
had a tremendous effect on his art. Picasso's paintings no longer consisted of blue tones but
instead took on more delicate rose tones. Fernande Oliver reflected his work and his happiness.
One of Picasso's best works linked his Blue and Rose Period was The Frugal Repast. The painting
had a beautiful healthy looking woman being embraced by a long dirty, hungry man. Picasso felt
this way about Fernande Oliver. He pictured himself as a poverty stricken man who was lucky
enough to be with a beautiful woman. From the time 1905 to 1906 Picasso entered the Rose
Period. Subtle pinks and grays with even brighter tones were the colors Picasso used. Some people
also believed the warm tones of this period were influence by Picasso's habit of smoking opium

Thesis Statement For Pride And Prejudice
Pride and Prejudice: Essay Outline Thesis statement, including map of development: In Jane
Austen's novel "Pride and Prejudice," the author traces portrait of women's role during the Regency
period: they were expected to get married, to be accomplished and to self–scarify. Topic Sentence
#1: Marriage was crucial at the time, and women of the early Victorian age were expected to
marry and to get their daughters married. a.Argument: Marriage assured social security for both the
women and the family. b.Example: When Lady Catherine tells Elizabeth that Darcy was supposed
to marry her daughter: "The engagement between them is of a particular kind. From their infancy,
they have been intended for each other. It was the favorite wish of his mother, as well as of her's.
While I their cradles, we planned the union: and now, at the moment when the wishes of both sisters
would be accomplished, in their marriage, to be prevented by a young woman of inferior birth, of
no importance in the world, and wholly unallied to the family!" (Austen 335–336). c.Explanation:
Lady Catherine's reaction demonstrates the crucial importance of marriage in the society, but also
for women. Families needed their daughters to marry in the same social class or above to insure
social prestige. Demonstrates Lady Catherine's role to protect the high class and prestige of her
descendants through marriage. For Elizabeth and her family, this union with the higher class assures
them social security. a.Argument: Marriage was a market, women needed to marry to ensure
financial security. b.Example: When Mrs. Bennet learns that Mr. Bingley is coming to town: "A
single man of large fortune; four of five thousands a year. What a fine thing for our girls!" (Austen
6). c.Explanation: Marriage was the only way for the Bennet girls to ensure financial security. Girls
are too high class to get jobs but would not inherit. Financial security also ensured future economic
security for Mrs. Bennet after her husband's death. Topic Sentence #2: Women of the early 1800s
need to demonstrate accomplishments and education. a.Argument: Accomplishments demonstrated a
woman's value. b.Example: Lady Catherine to Elizabeth: " 'Do

Special Delivery Analysis
The first essay I read was Special Delivery. This essay was particularly funny to me because I
could see my husband saying everything this new father was writing. When my husband and I
had our first son I could see the panic in his eyes. Then my husband, like Brian, was scared to be
in the delivery room. He also toughed it out and surprisingly became very supportive and excited.
When we talk about the delivery, he describes it the same as Brian, they felt it was gross. When I
was in recovery my husband stayed with our son and he also described a feeling that his whole
world changed because of the little, wrinkly boy he was holding in his arms. The second essay I
read was Epiphany. In this essay the writer is describing a moment

This essay discusses and reflects upon patient care in the post anaesthetic care unit (PACU) and
is linked to my experiences on placement. It discusses how my approach to patient care has been
challenged and analyses how evidence based practice can create a change in the way patients are
cared for. It reviews the processes of managing the perioperative environment and evaluates the
implications for practice when applying a change in healthcare. Wicker and O'Neill (2010) state
that "The lack of immediate medical support in the recovery room means that practitioners work in
a more autonomous role than any other area of the operating department" (p.379). By reflecting
upon my experiences I am able to link practical and theoretical aspects of the operating department

practice and it will develop my personal knowledge and self–awareness (Forrest, 2008). Using a
model of reflection is important as it provides a framework that can be systematically followed
and acts as a guide through the process of reflection. For this essay I have chosen to use the
Gibbs' Reflective Cycle (1988) as it provides a methodical guide to reflection using a series of
ordered questions that each lead to the next stage of the cycle (Forrest, 2008). My experiences have
covered a variety of patients and surgical procedures and the majority of patients have been cared

The final reason why it is beneficial to have pets is for learning. Pets can teach kids things will
probably need to know when they grow up. Here is why pets are beneficial for learning purposes.
Supporting Detail #1
First, Pets can teach responsibility which is a very important life skill. To care for apet you must
feed it, give it exercise, give it affection, and much more. This teaches responsibilty because it
shows kids that they need to make time in their day to feed their pet, to play with it, and to walk it.
When kids who own pets grow up they will most likely be very responsible because of the valuable
lessons taught in their childhood when they had that pet.
Supporting Detail #2
Next, Pets can actually teach kids respect. This is because children must be respectful to their pets
in order to make them happy and in order for them to like the child. For example, Children must not
disturb their pets when they are eating or sleeping, and they must be gentle when they are petting
/touching their pet. If children respect there pets they will most likely respect people too. That is
why pets are great for

Personal and Professional Challenges
Challenge is often viewed as a negative and rejecting word. In reality life would not move forward
without unfavorable factors. Life is a series of pleasant and unpleasant elements and events
combined together to take us to our desired destination. Obstacles help us to learn and grow in our
physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects during our lifespan. Self–improvement is the first
step to advance and navigate personal and professional life to the right direction. Opposing forces in

Nurses must strive to sustain a healthy lifestyle to carry their responsibilities efficiently. Physical
activity, eating healthy foods, and sleep are three important factors in maintaining physical health.
With nurses' busy work and school schedule, it is so difficult to commit to these goals. Setting
priorities and following scheduled activities will be a good time management strategy to achieve
those objectives. Studies show that exercise, eating the right food, and sleep are very important
stress reliever factors. A workout buddy is a great motivational tool in maintaining fitness goals.
Healthy eating starts from a research about healthy foods and their positive effects in our health.
Sustain a Positive Mental Health Mental health and physical health go hand in hand. "Mental health
is about the way you think and feel, and your ability to deal with ups and downs" (Mental Health
Foundation, 2013). Nursing by nature is a very stressful job. Stress can influence individuals' mental
well–being. It can cause depression and negative thoughts. To manage a healthy mental health nurses
should dedicate some time (5–10 minutes) in the morning and evening reflecting and thinking on
positive events. Meditation, yoga, and prayers are very effective methods for releasing stress.
Reading self–help books and promoting positive thinking, asking for help when needed, along with a
healthy social life are good resources to achieve mental health.

In addition, I have learned that patient safety is at the forefront of nursing and the ability to think
outside of the box. Before I had started the nursing program, if I was asked about patient safety
my first thoughts would be, what could I do to the prevent the patient from falling, since then I
have come to realize that patient safety encompasses so much more. At last my last clinical we had
care of the a gentleman who spoke no English, he would just look at us and smile, If it won't for the
use of the interpreter I can see how this patient care would have been affective.
Over the course of this preceptorship, I have written a few different journals with the nursing
process as my topic, the reason for this is because the nursing process is everywhere and has
become a part of my day to day life, not just during my different clinicals over these past couple of
years, it has spilled over into work, school work assignments, and home life, as well as. I now find
myself assessing everything that needs to accomplish throughout my day and developing a plan of
action, setting priorities to works towards their completion. Another topic that I feel is very
important for a nurse is professionalism and important in developing a trust with the patients in
your care, as well as, to earn the respect of your fellow nurses and other members of the hospital
staff. Over these past couple years and I have seen that many of the patients and their families look

Student Loans Research Paper
Student Loans: The Plight of Students The concept of student loans in nothing out of the ordinary.
They have existed for decades. However, they continue to catch young students by surprise. Due to
the education inflation of student loans, attending college for young students is becoming
increasingly unaffordable, especially middle–class students. Fortunately, a potential resolution for
the lack of preparedness, planning, and knowledge has been introduced, which is the "Payback"
game. In the first article, "The Cost of College: Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow" written by Mike

concept with, "Starting this week, he [Tim Ranzetta] has a new tool in what has become a

web–based game called 'Payback.'" Being the fifth of six children and aspiring to attend college,
Ranzetta learned all about the system of student loans as a teenager. When his older siblings began
to send their own children to college and knew little to nothing of students loans, Ranzetta turned
to student loan consulting. In doing so, he received many calls from many different people who

"Payback," asks players to consider a variety of expenses, such as dorm supplies and textbooks.
Additionally, there is a rapid–fire class registration simulation that has dire consequences if not acted

member of its own kind is to sniff its behind. There is also the problem of dignity and discrimination
–– as in, dogs have none. Where's the discrimination in an animal so mindlessly arduous that its
overpowering instinct upon seeing someone is to hump his or her leg?
And what's dignified about a...show more content...
They like to be patted and praised and demonstrate their own affection by slobbering all over their
owners after any separation lasting more than fifteen minutes.
Owning an animal can take up a lot of time. For most people time is of the essence, and spending
a lot of time on an animal is unrealistic . Cats are able to live without their owners for days on end.
They can usually find something to eat, and pee if plants for example. But dogs need to be put in
kennels and looked after by another person. Dogs also have to be put on leashes when they are
outside. Cats have the ability to roam freely because their owners do not have to worry about them
causing a lot of trouble. A cat is allowed to be outside until late hours because owners know that the
feline will make its way home, where as a dog at night is usually brought inside, or chained up
outside.
Practicality and simplicity help animal owners decide what type of animal they should own. If
your house or apartment is full of mice, a cat will solve the problem. Although, some dogs hunt for
small rodents in a home, they usually confuse live animals with toys. On the other hand, dogs can
be trained to do a variety of things, but sometimes training can be tedious and teaching a dog how
to sit can be impractical for everyday life.
Dogs live in a benevolent universe in which every event and every encounter is a otential learning
experience. The casual stranger is not to be

  • 1. Persuasive Essay On Cats Cats are more than just furry friends, if you let them into your heart they become family. I have 19 years of owning plenty of cats, and I currently have four. I love my cats, they honestly are my family. I also have two dogs and they really do need more attention than cats, a lot more. We are all college students, and some of us desire a companion without a ton of commitment. That is where adopting a cat comes into play. Cats even have health benefits to them, they are scientifically proven to reduce stress and sadness, they do not need a ton of attention (although some required and the more the better), and if you are allergic there are even hypoallergenic breeds of cats for you. Losing a friend or family member is truly hard, yet an easy method for coping is to adopt a pet. Felines have been proven to help individuals to get over their misfortune more rapidly, and show less physical indications of pain, such as crying. Despite the fact that they are only animals, cats fill in as a social help through troublesome times. Individuals in grieving report conversing with their pet to work out their feelings, since it is easier to talk with something that won't react and can't judge, such as another person. Another study, conducted by the University of Minnesota in 2008, revealed that owning a cat reduces stress and anxiety, thus bringing down the risk of cardiovascular disease. In fact, the chances of having a heart attack are reduced by 40 percent if you own a cat. Felines Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 2. PACU Nursing Experience Floating to the PACU was an awesome experience. In the morning prior to going to the PACU, I was with the pre–op nurse. She explained to me what was the process to admitting new patients and getting the necessary information before they went off to surgery. The process was fairly simple, and she did a quick assessment before the patient sees the OR nurse and surgeon. After spending about 45 minute in pre–op, I went to the PACU. The charge nurse Emmy oriented me to the floor. She showed me where the patient comes from, and where they will be in the PACU. She showed me the fire exits, isolated rooms and how to use the machines. She told me everyone in the PACU is very experience and usually came from the NICU or ED. After being with the unit, I can see why. I was able to interact with about 4 different nurses. All of them were very nice and welcoming. Most nurses on the floor were...show more content... I have never seen a patient wake up from anesthesia before so it was very interesting. I help the nurse hold down the patient, while the nurse was maintaining her airway. I was able to see LMA and a endotracheal tube extubation. I really like the environment in the PACU. There were a few times when out of nowhere patients start to desaturate and the nurse had to respond quickly. After the patients would wake up, the nurse would just explain to them where they were and ask them if there was any pain. I didn't witness and patient teaching while I was there. Therefore, the country is producing different kinds of crops for home consumption and for the farmers as source of livelihood. But today, we are suffering from food shortage because of our growing population. This study aimed to help our local farmers in terms of knowledge on how to produce sufficient crops or even suggest alternative methods to meet the demands for food. • 5. Writing is way that we can express ourselves, it is a way to interface ideas and thoughts and to prove a point. Throughout my writing experience or process I have struggled with writing especially using details or really expressing myself my work. In this course Facts & Fiction: Portraits in World Art I expect to gain more knowledge on how to write a perfectessay, story, letter, and assignment. I expect to learn new genres and rhetorical situations. I also think my writing will improve academically and I will develop my skills in writing. Also taking my writing to a different point of view, level, and writing something different rather than the usual. I look forward to getting feedback from my peers and learning their thoughts on my writing and how they can help me improve. Reading and writing were two things my parents use to always push me to improve and work on more often. They always told me they are the essentials of everything thing. Even though I disliked both at a young age as I grew older I preferred writing because I can always change the way I write and write from my point of view, really be creative with it and prove my point. Growing up I always loved writing short stories especially scary stories. I always was creative with them and even made them realistic. To write an essay I usually have a couple of steps writing an outline, and the thesis a draft and finally a final draft. The most difficult part about this is writing the thesis because the whole essay revolves the thesis because it summarizes the whole essay. At the end of some essays, I had to use citations to do that there were many websites that helped me cite sources such as easybib which was a really simple process. So, citing sources was one of the easiest things about writing the essay. Writing to a teacher is way more complex then writing to a fried or a family member. Writing to a teacher is way more complex, I must make sure that everything is on point or it reaches the state of protection. Which is having the right format, a great thesis and really conveying the point of the essay. Writing to a friend or a family member is much easier I usually don't focus on grammatic errors or writing a perfect thesis. Today some of us don't Get more content on HelpWriting.net

Application Essay For Physical Therapy While there may be many experiences and attributes that I possess that will be a catalyst in my success as a physical therapist there are three that I feel have thoroughly prepared me for the physical therapy profession. First is the attribute of empathy. I feel that I am empathetic as a result of growing up with an older brother who has cerebral palsy and uses a wheelchair. I can definitively say that growing up with a sibling who has a disability has shaped me into the person that I am today and has allowed me to develop skills in ways that others may not have been exposed to. Competing in local and even international level competitions across the country, the dedication required for membership in the guard is extraordinary. My commitment to the winter guard as well as my determination in my studies has allowed me to prime my time management skills to be successful in both areas without compromising the quality of my efforts in either one. Moreover, I have also been involved in numerous volunteer opportunities including Special Olympics, therapeutic horseback riding, and sled hockey. I also have a job at the Student Health Center. Pablo Ruiz y Picasso was born in Malaga, Spain on October 25, 1881 to a professor of art named Jose Ruiz Blanco and his wife Maria Picasso Lopez. Because of his fathers' occupation, Picasso's talent was quickly noticed and appreciated. Don Jose, an art teacher, moved Picasso and his family to La Coruna and then to Barcelona where he was Picasso's instructor at the fine arts academy. There is little sign of life about the man, his shoulders are bony and his pose cramped, as if to show that he finds no ease in the world around him. In 1905 close to the ending of his Blue Period Picasso decided to move back to Paris. It was here that he met Fernande Oliver and eventually fell in love with her. Picasso's paintings took a drastic change. He went from painting beggars and outcast to happy, healthy circus performers and families. It was obvious that Picasso's first love had a tremendous effect on his art. Picasso's paintings no longer consisted of blue tones but instead took on more delicate rose tones. Fernande Oliver reflected his work and his happiness. One of Picasso's best works linked his Blue and Rose Period was The Frugal Repast. The painting had a beautiful healthy looking woman being embraced by a long dirty, hungry man. Picasso felt this way about Fernande Oliver. He pictured himself as a poverty stricken man who was lucky enough to be with a beautiful woman. From the time 1905 to 1906 Picasso entered the Rose Period. Subtle pinks and grays with even brighter tones were the colors Picasso used. Some people also believed the warm tones of this period were influence by Picasso's habit of smoking opium (Ripley 101). • 10. Thesis Statement For Pride And Prejudice Pride and Prejudice: Essay Outline Thesis statement, including map of development: In Jane Austen's novel "Pride and Prejudice," the author traces portrait of women's role during the Regency period: they were expected to get married, to be accomplished and to self–scarify. Topic Sentence #1: Marriage was crucial at the time, and women of the early Victorian age were expected to marry and to get their daughters married. a.Argument: Marriage assured social security for both the women and the family. b.Example: When Lady Catherine tells Elizabeth that Darcy was supposed to marry her daughter: "The engagement between them is of a particular kind. From their infancy, they have been intended for each other. It was the favorite wish of his mother, as well as of her's. While I their cradles, we planned the union: and now, at the moment when the wishes of both sisters would be accomplished, in their marriage, to be prevented by a young woman of inferior birth, of no importance in the world, and wholly unallied to the family!" (Austen 335–336). c.Explanation: Lady Catherine's reaction demonstrates the crucial importance of marriage in the society, but also for women. Families needed their daughters to marry in the same social class or above to insure social prestige. Demonstrates Lady Catherine's role to protect the high class and prestige of her descendants through marriage. For Elizabeth and her family, this union with the higher class assures them social security. a.Argument: Marriage was a market, women needed to marry to ensure financial security. b.Example: When Mrs. Bennet learns that Mr. Bingley is coming to town: "A single man of large fortune; four of five thousands a year. What a fine thing for our girls!" (Austen 6). c.Explanation: Marriage was the only way for the Bennet girls to ensure financial security. Girls are too high class to get jobs but would not inherit. Financial security also ensured future economic security for Mrs. Bennet after her husband's death. Topic Sentence #2: Women of the early 1800s need to demonstrate accomplishments and education. a.Argument: Accomplishments demonstrated a woman's value. b.Example: Lady Catherine to Elizabeth: " 'Do Get more content on HelpWriting.net

When my husband and I had our first son I could see the panic in his eyes. Then my husband, like Brian, was scared to be in the delivery room. He also toughed it out and surprisingly became very supportive and excited. When we talk about the delivery, he describes it the same as Brian, they felt it was gross. When I was in recovery my husband stayed with our son and he also described a feeling that his whole world changed because of the little, wrinkly boy he was holding in his arms. I chose to watch "Titanic, because I wanted to know what the movie was really about, maybe I might like the movie. Actually watching the movie gives you another perspective than just knowing what the setting and theme is about. Many people looked at me like I was crazy, when I said "I had never watched "Titanic", and wanted to finally watch it, and see if I actually would like, so I gave it a chance. My one regret is coming into the movie hating it and not wanting to enjoy it. I thought that the movie was going to be the worst three hours of my life, I will never make that mistake coming into a movie already hating it before I even watched it. • 13. This essay discusses and reflects upon patient care in the post anaesthetic care unit (PACU) and is linked to my experiences on placement. It discusses how my approach to patient care has been challenged and analyses how evidence based practice can create a change in the way patients are cared for. It reviews the processes of managing the perioperative environment and evaluates the implications for practice when applying a change in healthcare. Wicker and O'Neill (2010) state that "The lack of immediate medical support in the recovery room means that practitioners work in a more autonomous role than any other area of the operating department" (p.379). By reflecting upon my experiences I am able to link practical and theoretical aspects of the operating department practitioner (ODP) job role. This will provide me with a greater understanding of professional practice and it will develop my personal knowledge and self–awareness (Forrest, 2008). Using a model of reflection is important as it provides a framework that can be systematically followed and acts as a guide through the process of reflection. For this essay I have chosen to use the Gibbs' Reflective Cycle (1988) as it provides a methodical guide to reflection using a series of ordered questions that each lead to the next stage of the cycle (Forrest, 2008). No matter what side is taken there will always be a debate about which animal is superior. People choose pets based on a certain kinship they feel with the animal. Now, perhaps cat lovers are uptight, but they don't choose to claim kinship with a creature whose first act upon meeting a new member of its own kind is to sniff its behind. There is also the problem of dignity and discrimination –– as in, dogs have none. Cats are able to live without their owners for days on end. They can usually find something to eat, and pee if plants for example. But dogs need to be put in kennels and looked after by another person. Dogs also have to be put on leashes when they are outside. Cats have the ability to roam freely because their owners do not have to worry about them causing a lot of trouble. A cat is allowed to be outside until late hours because owners know that the feline will make its way home, where as a dog at night is usually brought inside, or chained up outside. Practicality and simplicity help animal owners decide what type of animal they should own. If your house or apartment is full of mice, a cat will solve the problem. Although, some dogs hunt for small rodents in a home, they usually confuse live animals with toys. On the other hand, dogs can be trained to do a variety of things, but sometimes training can be tedious and teaching a dog how to sit can be impractical for everyday life. Dogs live in a benevolent universe in which every event and every encounter is a otential learning experience. The casual stranger is not to be Get more content on HelpWriting.net
