X Express is a chain of express trains on the Indian Railways network.
These trains were announced in the Railway Budget of 2011-12 by the
then Railway Minister. These trains were started to commemorate the
150th birth anniversary of Y, held in 2013. One of the X Express
trains, the one from Dibrugarh to Kanyakumari, is the longest route on
the Indian Railways network, in terms of distance and time, and is
currently the 24th longest in the world.
X express also holds another place in the history of indian railways, as
being the last train to halt its services, when the entire indian railway
passenger services came to standstill following the COVID-19 pandemic
and the subsequent national wide lockdown in March 2020.

While going to Bangalore, X had a night halt at Besant Theosophical
College, Madanapalle. It was the night when Dr Cousins hosted a fun
singing session at the college. Dr Cousins mentioned the gathering in
