According to the case study (Appendix A), High Stakes High School (HSHS) is a low income,
underperforming urban high school in Bronx, New York. School enrollment consists of 79%
Black and 21% Latino students. Of the student body, 91% qualify for a free or reduced fee lunch,
and 13% qualify as English Language Learners (ELLs). Over the last decade, school performance
has waned. The performance has coincided with troubling school level trends, such as increased
absenteeism and suspensions, as well as gang activity and violence. Trying to align with the
instability at the district level, the school has had six different principals.
Action Plan
During the months of July and August, I established a task force team, involving all stakeholders,
in our school reform and prepared a 3 year action plan to turn around our school. As the principal
of High Stakes High School, my team and I shared the action plan report, based on the school data

History of the US are two analytical views on history that most people would consider politically
conflicting. Zinn s Marxist book was widely praised by liberal activist and Schweikart s book is
greatly publicized by conservatives like Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck. These two widely
known historians turned their focus on writing two historical pieces that would fill in the
historical holes that weren t being taught in the educational systems. It created a type of diverse
learning that made for a great argument while still allowing the readers to understand all sides
of the topics at hand. Zinn really dismissed the common white mans history and focused his
approach on a multiple minority perspective. Schweikart s book is very different in the sense he
takes aim at Zinn as he targets words like great discovery and war on terror which Zinn only used
as scare quotes. Schweikart s book really reads like old history textbooks from the moral principals
of the American founders that built this nation to the ideological view of American prosperity. No
matter who shares the views of the political perspectives or condemns them because of its bias

chickens inhumanely. Not just that, many of the large food companies such as McDonalds,
Kentucky Fried Chicken and Chick fil A are being exposed by their contract farmers. To create a
voice for the animal, many articles, websites, and books were created, dedicating to petition for
animal rights, especially for chickens.
Food Empowerment Project (FEP) is a nonprofit organization, focusing on food justice, veganism,
and animal rights, founded in 2016 in California. FEP wrote an article called Chickens Raised for
Meat . This article addresses the poor living condition and the issue associated with chickens
welfare in the intensive farming industry. FEP does assert mostly factual information in the
Chickens Raised for Meat with the exception of one that are not clearly supported by any credible
