Art Therapy Research Paper
Therapeutic Relationship with an Adolescent Population
In the field of mental health, therapists face to work with diverse populations. To provide a superior
quality of therapy and elicit positive results, establishing a relationship with a client should be the
priority. An adolescent population might be the one that is difficult to build a relationship and thus
might be a challenge for beginner therapists. Artistic activities in a therapy session can help adolescent
clients open their minds up to a therapist and build a therapeutic relationship. In this paper, I will
explore a therapeutic relationship with an adolescent population in art therapy.
Adolescence is widely acknowledged as the period to be resistant to the adult authority. As growing ...

The treatment relationship is the crucial factor of therapy, which is invisible but exists; it is expressed
on paper in an abstract form. During the initial phase of art therapy, there might be various feelings in
transference and countertransference, which could be hostile or amicable. Each adolescent is different
in their personalities and attitudes. Although there is an individual difference in accepting therapist s
care, the role of art therapist is constant. I put various colors of ___ to express each adolescent and a
silver color of ___ for a therapist s energy. The art media for the background is watercolor; watercolor
is difficult in controlling the amount of water and paints and requires an intense attention to
maintaining clear color expression. The process dealing with this art material conveys a metaphor that
an effort of a therapist towards adolescent clients who is resistant and uncooperative. The art material
is difficult to handle and takes time, but is possible to create vibrant expression. Adolescents also can
be changed and brilliant by a therapist. Between two colors, there are vague boundaries, which means
that it brings mutual influence between two people. Two different colors meet and then smear each
other. The red color in the center symbolizes an adolescent who is supported by a therapist, the blue
color. The blue surrounds the red and provides a safe place to express oneself. The red is gradually
smeared by the blue while it emits its energy at the safe place thereby becoming smoother. The blue
also is influenced by red. The gradation between two colors indicates that the treatment relationship is
not a unilateral relationship. The very different two people meet, and they influence each other. My
artwork shows that the clashing colors can be harmonious; the appropriate treatment relationship

American Dance 1960’s-1990’s
Culture revolves around dance through movement, each telling their own unique stories. Dance is the
center piece for many societys. Dance is defined as an art performed by individuals or groups of
human beings, existing in time, space, force, and flow, in which the human body is the instrument, and
movement is the medium (Krause, 24)1. As many cultures differ from one another dance is one way
universally they are able to communicate. Through their bodies they are able to speak to one another.
Dance has been around a very long time. When you typically think of America you wouldn t normally
think of dance. You tend to think more Industrial revolution and technology, but if you look back
through American history names such as Elvis ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
One of the biggest dance crazes of the 80 s was break dancing. It was just moving your body no rhyme
or rhythm. You usually had to be physically fit because of all of the movements required tremendous
amounts of strength to be able to hold yourself up. This only lasted for some time, then once again
peoples interests starting shifting and new fads were emerging.
The 1990 s became the time of quick fads and a lot of different styles. If people were going to a party
they didn t just have one option clothes wise to wear. They could dress bright, casual, or even dress
like Run DMC with the pants way too big for them and a baggy shirt. All of these styles were in. MC
Hammer was a big name hip hop star in the 90 s with one of his biggest hits called U can t touch this .
This was a very popular song and millions of copies were being sold by the day. The hammer time
dance was a dance that stuck out in the 90 s. It was an upbeat hip hop dance, just moving to the music.
Hip hop was starting and people quickly picked up on the catchy up beat tempo. Hip hop has been has
never really died out and is still going today.
Looking back throughout American history our culture is never satisfied with what they have. It s just
the American culture way of life. Our culture changes so much as you can tell through the last 40
years of dance alone. I m an American but I would consider myself an outsider to all of this. I have

The Relationship Between The English And French Canadians
ENGLISH FRENCH RELATIONS
By: Kimia Pourheidary
As a great man once said Love thy neighbor as thyself , as easy as that may sound, it was very difficult
for the French English Canadian to get along and love each other instead of hate. The relationship
between the English and French Canadians was very tense in the 20th century. This power struggle led
to the separation of two large populations In Canada and created conflicts within the country. The
many debates which were not solved between the two sides had a great impact on French English
relations. Throughout the years, their relationship was and still is very rocky. There are many reasons
which explain why they have such strong hatred towards each other, but the most common ones were;
biculturalism, belief/politics, and most importantly bilingualism.
The first example which thoroughly explains the struggles between the Quebecers and Canadians is
biculturalism. The relationship between the English and French Canadians first became rocky when
the Quebecers felts that their majority position was threatened by an English speaking minority that
constitutes thirty four percent of the population of Montreal (Francophone Anglophone relations). Two
nations warring in the bosom of a single state was said by Lord Durham which describes the French
and English Canadian relationship. It was very hard for the French Canadian to get used to the fact
that now they were combined with the Anglophones. The Quebecer s did not want

IT Sourcing Essay
Business Transformation by way of IT Sourcing?
Overview
Do I think IT sourcing can be a transformative agent? Absolutely. Should IT sourcing be used as a
transformative agent? Not only do I reply in the affirmative, I d go so far as to say that IT sourcing,
where applies, is the key to successful business transformation.
We have got to ask ourselves this question first why do companies outsource? The bigger they are, the
more likely they are to be geographically distributed. The more distributed they are, the more likely
they are to outsource their IT requirements. The reasons are simple local vendors, like Cognizant
Technology Solutions or Tata Consultancy Services in India, are established players, incorporate
industry wide best practices, operate on a large scale (which is exactly what the client company seek
to achieve), possess expertise in varied technology domains and have stellar reputations for delivering
quality IT services. More importantly, they offer cost reduction and efficient technology management.
However there has been a subtle but steady shift in end user preferences that renders the traditional
outsourcing models redundant. Clients can no longer afford to be satisfied with just reducing their
costs. To stay competitive in this increasingly dynamic environment, to retain their user base and
market share, companies are now looking to their sourcing vendor partners to innovate and provide
technology enabled business transformation [1].

Architecture Of The Renaissance Period
The Renaissance period was a time filled with new ideas and developments that changed European
society. Many cultural and scientific advances were made during this period, especially in architecture
and medicine. As Arthur Ericsson states the period was studded by the names of architects such as
Filippo Brunelleschi and Donato Bramante, whose creations are recorded as great historical events.
The Renaissance period is also well known for the new scientific discoveries made through the
examination of the human body. The European society changed greatly during the Renaissance period
due to the many cultural and scientific advances made particularly in architecture and medicine.
The architecture of the Renaissance period replaced the medieval gothic style with a style representing
the rebirth of classical civilization. One of the famous architects in the early Renaissance was Filippo
Brunelleschi. Through looking at the old Roman and Greek architecture, he was able to bring back the
old traditional buildings and arches, but in a more effective and proportional way. In the early
Renaissance, the Florentines fathers created a competition for the ideal dome design. Many architects
came from all around Europe to showcase their designs. Brunelleschi had won for his amazing yet
risky plan. He designed the dome with two concentric shells. The inner shell facing the inside of the
cathedral, and the outer shell would be a large dome. He bound the walls with tension rings of

The National Socialist Workers Party employed anti Semitism as an instrument to consolidate its
control over the nation by gradually increasing the emphasis on anti Semitism and gaining immense
emotional support over the course of the year. When the National Socialist Workers Party was first
founded, its focus on anti Semitism was very marginal. Nonetheless, Adolf Hitler was appointed as the
chancellor and marked the end of the Weimar Republic and beginning of the Third Reich in 1933.

Kristallnacht, also known as the Night of Broken Glass, was a night of organized violent assault on the
Jews on November 9, 1938. Although it appeared to be a spontaneous response to a Jewish teenager s
assassination of a German ambassador in Paris, this event was, in fact, a thoroughly organized attack
on the Jews. As the name of the incident suggests, two day long violent outbreak was detrimental. Not
only were Sturmabteilung set loose to ransacking Jewish stores and homes, civilians also participated
in the series of attacks against the Jews. Over 250 synagogues were targeted; they were destructed,
burned, and vandalized. Moreover, over 7,000 businesses were shattered. Plundered Jewish owned
properties were often redistributed to German citizens. During this massive coordinated attack,
approximately 100 Jews were killed, and approximately 30,000 Jews were sent to concentration
camps, such as Dachau, Buchenwald, and Sachsenhausen. Although brutally treated, the prisoners
were released if they could prove that they were able to emigrate. However, an estimate of 1,000 Jews
ended up dying. After Kristallnacht, Jews clearly became social outcasts; they were aggressively
dissimilated from the society, marginalized from economic interactions, and persecuted from political
activities. Anti Semitism rose

The Moral Majority
We will see a breakdown of the family and family values if we decide to approve same sex marriage,
and if we decide to establish homosexuality as an acceptable alternative lifestyle with all the benefits
that go with equating it with the heterosexual lifestyle, Jerry Falwell, a leading member of the Moral
Majority, made this statement in reference to his views on the moral decline of America in the 1970s.
His beliefs, along with other Americans beliefs, became the foundation of what is known as the New
Right. The New Right was a network of political activists and organizations that emerged in the 1970s
and 1980s, and it emphasized cultural issues such as abortion, feminism, and prayer in school. Three
events can be associated with the rise of the New Right: the campaign of Goldwater in the election of
1964, the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA) approval along with the Roe v. Wade decision, and the
influence of televangelists. Each of ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

constantly advocated for the New Right s conservative causes. The televangelists were one of the most

After the successful reverse stock split only a small percentage of stock still remained with outsiders,
but was closely monitored for the next 20years to maintain the private state of firm control. It is hard
to find negatives for being so private because Kohler has been so successful at it. A few possible
reasons for big companies such as Kohler to have public shares is because they offer a new source of
capital, a cash flow for acquisitions, liquidity for estate planning and a means to reward employees
with options. Kohler could make the counter to these public offers by saying we may not have these
public options, but who is going to take us over anyway... we re Kohler. Why recapitalize: In 1998,
Herbert Kohler proposed to buy back all the shares from outsiders and further restrict the selling of
shares to outsiders. There were many reasons for this recapitalization plan: Herbert Kohler did not like
the high speculative prices that the shares were selling for. People started to think that Kohler would
go public and it would increase the share prices. Therefore, they paid higher prices for the Kohler
stock with the expectations that the stock price would go higher. He thought that it might entice the
family members to sell their shares to outsiders.

to keep it within the family. Kohler could not control

chances of getting a great cruise deal.
Go for the last minute deals
While in other cases, early booking can bring you many discounts, when it comes to cruises, it s best

There are websites where you fill a form with the details of the cruise you are looking for and then the

the details of the cruise. This fee in nonrefundable if you don t book or you cancel the cruise, but you

Analyze the total costs
Finding a cruise that is very cheap but doesn t include the additional fees is not actually a bargain, so
pay attention to the details of the cruise. Even if the travel package is affordable, having to pay for
service fees or port charges is not something you want. This is why you must analyze the package
very well and ask the person in charge if the additional fees are included in the sale price. Another
important aspect is the payment method required by each travel agencies. Some of them mandate that

This report was written to analyze the competition among the Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP)
industry segment, especially as it relates to the relationship between Skype and AT amp;T and the
competition between the VoIP market and the land line market. In analyzing this segment we found
that VoIP is a growing industry in what has historically been predominately a land line
telecommunication company such as AT amp;T.

With a roughly 5 percent market share by the end of 2010, VoIP was still a small competitor in the
industry.
A major opportunity for VoIP providers was to capitalize on the cellular market. Experts predicted
that, by 2019, half of all mobile calls would be over IP networks. The IP connections would be
available through VoIP applications that ran through a cellular device. Mobile VoIP applications are
expected to reach 278 million users, generating a $32.2 billion profit.
What does the five forces analysis reveal about the chances for profitability in the VoIP industry?3
1. Current sellers competing in the market * It s been good times to be a VoIP user, and bad ones to be
Skype. * To a great extent, up until now Skype has had a lock on the consumer P2P VoIP market, and
even though it s recent move into business VoIP hasn t been universally well received, things looked
rosy for the company in that market as well. * But a trio of competitors makes the future less rosy for
Skype. Yahoo, the well financed startup Jajah, and the big Web site Lycos have all released no cost or
low cost VoIP P2P solutions recently, attempting to muscle in on Skype.
2. Threat of new competitors market entry * Possibly the most intriguing of the group is the European
based Jajah. The service requires no client to

Adventure Diving Adventure diving generates a higher margin and therefore it is a good idea for
Greywell to consider adding it to the mix of dive offerings. However, it cannot be considered without
weighing the risks involved. Coral Divers Resort has an excellent reputation and careful consideration
should be given as to how to protect this intangible asset. Adventure dives would need specifically
trained and experienced dive masters. Simply training existing employees might pose an additional
risk since they aren t too excited about diving with sharks and also lack experience that might be

Leonardo Da Vinci s Work
Leonardo da Vinci Born in 1452 is one of the most fascinating personalities in the history of Western
art. Prepared in Florence as a painter and artist in the workshop of Andrea Del Verrocchio (1435
1488), Leonardo is additionally celebrated for his investigative commitments. His interest and
voracious strive after information never left him. He was always observing, experimenting, and
inventing, and drawing was, for him, a way for recording his investigation of nature. Albeit finished
works by Leonardo are few, he cleared out a vast assortment of drawings (just about 2,500) that record
his thoughts, most still accumulated into journals. He was mainly active in Florence (1472 ca. 1482,
1500 1508) and Milan (ca. 1482 99, 1508 13), however ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In later life, Leonardo just recorded two youth events. One, which he viewed as an omen, was the
point at which a kite dropped from the sky and drifted over his cradle, its tail feathers brushing his

that some extraordinary creature may prowl there, and driven by interest to figure out what was
inside. When Leonardo was fifteen, his father apprenticed him to Andrea del Verrocchio (1435 1488),
the famous artist of Florence and the early Renaissance. For nearly a decade, da Vinci improved his

he became a independent master in 1478. Around 1478 Leonardo set up his own particular studio. In
1481 he got a extensive church commission for an altarpiece, the Adoration of the Magi . In this

Adult Development Papers
Throughout the span of this course, a big section of time was allotted for learning about adult

brought into the poem as the moon becomes deathly. The moon has always been a figure of death in
Spanish history and continues to be represented in that matter by this poem. The moon s sensual
appeal balances its foreboding nature. The boy is enticed by the mystery of the moon and does not
heed her warning. Once again the boy warns the moon, flee, moon, moon, moon (17), as he shows his
continued persistence to save the moon he has been draw into. He warns that the gypsies are coming,
but the moon will not leave its dance. The moon says, young boy, leave me, don t step on / my
starched whiteness (19 20). This shows her lack of concern for the boy, which exemplifies her task to
only attract him to her. Her starched whiteness once again contradicts her true mission to lead him to
his demise. Beating the drum of the plain (22) stresses the intensity of the moment leading up to the
point that within the forge the young man has closed eyes (23).
The climax of the story has just occurred, as the child death has taken place. The Spanish belief that
the moon is a bad omen has remained true with the little boy s eyes closed, signifying his death. The
gypsies return and the diction used to describe them emphasizes their mystery and flow. How the night
bird sings (29) implies the bird is singing a song to mourn the death of the child. It then says across
the sky moves

Comprehensive Classroom Technology Plan
Introduction
Society is becoming more reliant upon technology every day. Technology is found in hospitals, banks,
grocery stores, homes, and schools across the nation. As technology becomes more prevalent in the
classroom, teachers need to learn how to use it effectively. Differentiating instruction, facilitating
learning, enhancing communication, and facilitating instruction are all appropriate ways to use
technology in the classroom (Standards for Teachers). Once these types of technology are mastered,
student performance, creativity, and thirst for knowledge should begin to increase. ... Show more

Section Two: Communications Plan
Introduction
No matter where one lives or what job is held, one thing remains necessary for success to occur,
communication. Effective communication enables bosses to communicate with employees, family and
friends to talk with one another, and teachers to communicate with students and parents. It is this
communication that lays the ground work for success in any situation. Today, many people rely on
various forms of technology to communicate with one another. The advancements in technology make
sending out important reminders, cute pictures, or a simple life update quick and efficient. It is no
different in the world of education. Teachers must learn how to use effective technology
communication tools such as class websites, social media, e mail, and text alerts to communicate
quickly and effectively with both parents and students while preserving the safety and security of
students working online.
Technology to Enhance Communication
Class Websites: Class websites are a great communication tool that allows the teacher to communicate
with parents, students, and the global community at large. These websites can be used to communicate
basic information, such as the teacher s background and classroom policies (Dunn, 2011, pg. 60 62).
Different levels of complexity allow teachers to decide the purpose of the website and how much time

Tooth Discoloration Essay
Tooth discoloration is extrinsic or intrinsic i.e. may be restricted to the outer layer (enamel) or may
involve the deeper layer (dentin) of the tooth. Various factors like genes, poor oral hygiene, smoking,
consumption of food substances like tea, coffee, wine, cranberries, etc. and even aging are the
common culprits behind the tooth discoloration. The stains on the teeth can also stain your life
negatively. You may suffer from low self esteem and self rejection due to the failure in securing a job
or because of a broken relationship. People judge by appearance and tooth discoloration gives an
indication of negligence towards oral hygiene. Nevertheless, tooth whitening helps you regain back

The concentration of bleaching agents like hydrogen peroxide and carbamide peroxide is high in the
solutions used in the chairside tooth whitening procedures.
The dentist uses tools like lasers, heat therapy or special lights to remove the deep and intrinsic
discoloration as it helps the solution to oxidize the ingrained stains.
Thus, you can get whiter teeth within one or two appointments. Also, the effects last longer when
compared to those obtained by other methods.
Tooth sensitivity usually occurs, especially in young people, during or after the treatment. However,
the dentist isolates the soft tissues during the procedure with rubber dam or protective gel and uses
special techniques to minimize the chance of development of tooth sensitivity.
The professional tooth whitening does not require a much active participation of the patient as
compared to the use of over the counter products or the at home whitening kits. Thus, you can sit

Ender s Game by Orson Scott Card Essay
Undermined by dread of another extra terrestrial invasion, humanity turns to the youngsters to get
ready for the approaching war. Ender s Game by Orson Scott Card is a novel and Ender s Game
directed by Gavin Hood is the motion picture based very loosely on that novel. So how true to the
book were these producers? Translating a 368 page military science fiction novel from 30 years back
into a 2 hour film regardless of how well approached will have a few aspects of it hit the fan. With the
principle force of the story being fixated on Ender s inward voice and several enormous subplots, a
few components are sure to be not true to the book whatsoever.

buggers. Its official name is the Philotic Parallax Quick Communicator, more commonly known as the
ansible. It permits them to impart at close immediate speed over interstellar separations. It s focused
around the buggers biotic capacity to impart over a kind of clairvoyant hive brain join. The saying
ansible is utilized as a part of the film (once), yet they never clarify the engineering or connection it to
the story. This would be fine with the exception of how it influences the final reveal.
How did Ender know where to discover the bugger queen? Because of a rock formation that had been
purposefully shaped to resemble the fallen castle from a computer game only he had seen. How did
the buggers see Ender s machine diversion? Great inquiry. In the movie it s not clear, however it s
inferred they had some way or another connected into the computer system to which the game existed.
The book s clarification is considerably more agreeable. At the point when Ender goes to Command
School, an ansible sends Ender s commands (obscure to him) to the actual International Fleet as they
battle the buggers. Since the ansible was retro engineered from bugger innovations, the buggers can
take advantage of Ender s correspondences, and take in more about him than anybody could have
anticipated including his memories of the game.

The topic I will be discussing in this draft is the debate on whether the National Football League

The injuries that I will discuss are concussion and traumatic brain injuries related to multiple
concussions. In years past this injury wasn t know n to be as prevalent because that game was played
at a much slower speed. Players in todays game are bigger, faster and stronger than ever. It has been
documented that the players themselves willingly know the risk they are taking yet still take the
chance at playing the game. Players and player group representatives are now seeking compensation

The HMO would be more likely cover such an injury like a concussion or concussion related
symptoms, but the NFL is less likely to do so. The NFL can debate that players make a conscious
decision to participate in a sport where this risk is involved.. The players that are granted coverage
will have top cover form outside parties involved and they can take a look at the historical legislative
involvement in overseeing or regulating professional football.
After the NFL commissioner came under scrutiny from Washington lawmakers on whether or not the
injuries in his sport were the cause of traumatic brain disease. The commissioner enacted a policy that

A Christian Worldview On The World Through The Lens Of The...
A Christian worldview would encompass the framework that we must view the world through the lens
of the Bible. Human Nature: I have not given much thought as to identifying my Christian worldview
on paper, and rarely have I given it much thought. To be a born again is to believe the Gospel of Jesus
Christ one must take a stand for the fundamental principles of the Gospel. Those principles include
belief in God as the creator of the universe and all that are on the earth and Jesus Christ as the Son of
God who came to save the world from sin and redeem us back to God. The absolute truth that Jesus
Christ was born of a virgin, lived, died on the cross for all mankind for the sins both seen and unseen,
and rose from the grave on the third day, who has now has ascended to heaven. He will return to take
us back to the place that he has prepared for the bride to come and live with him in eternity. God the
Father is the Absolute, Sovereign, eternal God who has no beginning and no end, who moves in and
out of time to have interaction at his will with the children of men. The scripture is viewed as the
infallible Word of God and they were written by men of old who were inspired by God. Therefore, the
Christian worldview that I ascribe to are the ones that I have previously noted. Now there are those
who would question or disagree with my next principle, however, I feel that a Christian should possess
this nature as well. The Bible tells us in Acts 2: how the called were in the upper

Domestically Qantas Airways Limited has only one competitor in the market, that being Virgin
Australia Holdings Limited creating a duopoly. As they are parent companies of smaller airlines. Both
companies offer a cheaper airline option (Qantas jetstar and Virgin s Tiger airways) as well as a more
corporate option (Qantas and Virgin airlines).
Threat of new Entrants: The threat of new entrants within the airline industry is very low. This is due
to the high barriers to entry found within the market. The major barrier being the high capital
investment required in order to start a new airline. With planes costing millions of dollars as well as
starting up routes. The industry is also very heavily regulated by the Australian government through

Identify and assess at least 4 factors that affect an organization s approach to attracting talent.
Market Demand/Supply for Talent:
Depending on the nature of the business, organizations will require various sets of talents (skill,
knowledge and capabilities) that contribute towards the their growth and success. Markets in general
have high supply of some talents and low of others. Based on the talent requirement of the
organization and the market in which it operates, it will have to alter its approach towards attracting

How Does Oprah s Decision To Open Her Academy
I am not in support of Oprah s decision to open her academy because it does not functionally mimic
the environment the girls were brought up in and therefore, cannot educate the girls appropriately for
economic and political life in South Africa. Oprah s Dream Academy for Girls is a lavish and modern,
something fit for people able to afford a boarding school education. The theory of functionalism states
that schools are seen to adapt students to the economic, political, and social institutions of its society.
The government did not support funding the academy, offering that only the basics are needed to
create a learning environment, which Oprah rejected. She privatized the academy and invested

Feed By M. T. Anderson Analysis
Today s society is fueled by marketing and consumerism, which is detrimental to our environment.
Throughout the novel Feed, M.T Anderson uses a futuristic society as an scathing indictment of our
current consumer habits. This is best demonstrated by the use of multiple related themes. Many
abrasive marketing techniques used by multinational conglomerates are designed to prey on middle
and working class consumers. Thus creating a higher demand for product manufacturing. This higher
demand in return increases environmental pressures, due to an unregulated private manufacturing
sector.
Two relevant themes that relate to each other are Because it is built into things we use every day,
marketing is inescapable¨ and Negligent consumerism is destructive to the environment¨. These two
themes relate to each throughout novel. With that being said, marketing is widely demonstrated all
through our daily lives because of the modern societal use of products that are brought to our attention
day in and day out. Whereas abrasive marketing tactics become more prevalent in the average
consumer s daily habits. The draconian nature behind marketing is easily forgotten. With marketing

The Relationship Between The English And French Canadians ENGLISH FRENCH RELATIONS By: Kimia Pourheidary As a great man once said Love thy neighbor as thyself , as easy as that may sound, it was very difficult for the French English Canadian to get along and love each other instead of hate. The relationship between the English and French Canadians was very tense in the 20th century. This power struggle led to the separation of two large populations In Canada and created conflicts within the country. The many debates which were not solved between the two sides had a great impact on French English relations. Throughout the years, their relationship was and still is very rocky. There are many reasons which explain why they have such strong hatred towards each other, but the most common ones were; biculturalism, belief/politics, and most importantly bilingualism. The first example which thoroughly explains the struggles between the Quebecers and Canadians is biculturalism. The relationship between the English and French Canadians first became rocky when the Quebecers felts that their majority position was threatened by an English speaking minority that constitutes thirty four percent of the population of Montreal (Francophone Anglophone relations). Two nations warring in the bosom of a single state was said by Lord Durham which describes the French and English Canadian relationship. • 6. IT Sourcing Essay Business Transformation by way of IT Sourcing? Overview Do I think IT sourcing can be a transformative agent? Absolutely. Should IT sourcing be used as a transformative agent? Not only do I reply in the affirmative, I d go so far as to say that IT sourcing, where applies, is the key to successful business transformation. We have got to ask ourselves this question first why do companies outsource? The bigger they are, the more likely they are to be geographically distributed. The more distributed they are, the more likely they are to outsource their IT requirements. The reasons are simple local vendors, like Cognizant Technology Solutions or Tata Consultancy Services in India, are established players, incorporate industry wide best practices, operate on a large scale (which is exactly what the client company seek to achieve), possess expertise in varied technology domains and have stellar reputations for delivering quality IT services. More importantly, they offer cost reduction and efficient technology management. However there has been a subtle but steady shift in end user preferences that renders the traditional outsourcing models redundant. Clients can no longer afford to be satisfied with just reducing their costs. To stay competitive in this increasingly dynamic environment, to retain their user base and market share, companies are now looking to their sourcing vendor partners to innovate and provide technology enabled business transformation [1]. Many cultural and scientific advances were made during this period, especially in architecture and medicine. As Arthur Ericsson states the period was studded by the names of architects such as Filippo Brunelleschi and Donato Bramante, whose creations are recorded as great historical events. The Renaissance period is also well known for the new scientific discoveries made through the examination of the human body. The European society changed greatly during the Renaissance period due to the many cultural and scientific advances made particularly in architecture and medicine. The architecture of the Renaissance period replaced the medieval gothic style with a style representing the rebirth of classical civilization. One of the famous architects in the early Renaissance was Filippo Brunelleschi. Through looking at the old Roman and Greek architecture, he was able to bring back the old traditional buildings and arches, but in a more effective and proportional way. In the early Renaissance, the Florentines fathers created a competition for the ideal dome design. Many architects came from all around Europe to showcase their designs. Human Nature: I have not given much thought as to identifying my Christian worldview on paper, and rarely have I given it much thought. To be a born again is to believe the Gospel of Jesus Christ one must take a stand for the fundamental principles of the Gospel. Those principles include belief in God as the creator of the universe and all that are on the earth and Jesus Christ as the Son of God who came to save the world from sin and redeem us back to God. The absolute truth that Jesus Christ was born of a virgin, lived, died on the cross for all mankind for the sins both seen and unseen, and rose from the grave on the third day, who has now has ascended to heaven. He will return to take us back to the place that he has prepared for the bride to come and live with him in eternity. God the Father is the Absolute, Sovereign, eternal God who has no beginning and no end, who moves in and out of time to have interaction at his will with the children of men. The scripture is viewed as the infallible Word of God and they were written by men of old who were inspired by God. Therefore, the Christian worldview that I ascribe to are the ones that I have previously noted.
