Why Gen-Y Johnny Read Non-Verbal Cues
in how each generation uses technology .For instance, the Baby Boomers prefer face to face
communication ,Generation X prefers electronic communication and the Millennials , who were born
with technology, are always connected to it. Today, technology is an integral part of people s lives. It
provides people with news, entertainment and most importantly they use it to communicate with other
people. The development of technology has considerably improved the way of living. Technology has

people tend to lose fluency in non verbal cues, as a result misunderstand and offend others. Any

The Reproductive System
Do you know how you were born? Do you know how you came to be? The reproductive system is the
system that made that all possible. Without the reproductive system you wouldn t have been born. In
order to produce offspring, the male and female reproductive systems have to be different. Each
system has different parts, problems and care. Each system have different purposes, the male
reproductive system s function is to produce sperm, while the female reproductive system s function is
to produce ova, store ova and house a fertilized egg.
The male reproductive system is divided into two categories: internal and external reproductive
organs. External organs are outside the body and internal organs are inside the body.
The external ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The system is comprised of a variety of different parts. The first part is the ovaries. The ovaries
contain thousands of immature ova at first that eventually mature during puberty. The ovaries produce
estrogen and progesterone which allow the ova to mature. Next are the fallopian tubes. They are tubes
that carry the ova from the ovaries to the uterus. The uterus is a pear shaped organ. It shelters and
nourishes a developing baby, or fetus. The endometrial lines the uterus. It thickens during pregnancy.
The opening of the uterus is the cervix. The vagina is the muscular passage from the uterus to the
outside of the body. It serves as a passing place for menstrual fluid and other discharge.
The menstrual cycle is something that a lot of girls and even guys have questions about. The
menstrual cycle is something that only girls go through once they experience puberty. It is nothing
more then the route of an egg through the female s reproductive system. The menstrual cycle starts as
the egg matures in the ovary. The egg is then released from the ovary during the process called
ovulation. The egg then travels in the fallopian tube until it reaches the uterus. If it is not fertilized by
a sperm, through fertilization, then it out of the body in a process known as menstruation, or a period.
More problems affect the female reproductive system

Analysis Of Enuma Elish s The Garden Of Eden Essay
The story of Enuma Elish are inscribed on 7 cuneiform tablets which was recovered by a collector
named AH Layard in Iraq. This story has some parallel tales told in the Old Testament such as
Genesis, Exodus and the Psalms. In Enuma Elish presented to the father and mother as Apsu and
Tiamat represented as saltwater and freshwater and were present before the creation of the universe.
The epic begins this way: When on high ... No heaven HAD Been named, called earth No, not
Annunaki ... There was nothing ... nothing but Old Father Apsu and Mummu Tiamat, Mother of All
Living . This describes a series of Gods that were created and later gained wisdom leading to a
similarity to Genesis presenting the tree of knowledge in the Garden of Eden and so says: Increasing
in wisdom, in understanding and in ...strength. Apsu planned to destroy the gods to form a universe of
order in a chaotic world. Ea is another god who kills Apsu to prevent what he had planned. Genesis
also describes a world full of chaos and God decided to give skills to everyone in order to bring a new
order. In Enuma Elish, Ea joins Damkina and has a divine and perfect son whom they call Marduk. In
the tablet fragments, phrases were recited found in the Bible, such as Divine the womb That bore him
(Luke 11:27), My beloved is! My son, who is my Sun, Sun for all the Heavens (Matt 3:17). Within the
epic Kingu mate Tiamat which motivated to make monsters to kill the other gods. Tiamat think

Competitive Tactic Of Walmart
WALMART
The ultimate way to define itself in a competitive market, a corporation must have a competitive tactic
to survive. A competitive tactic is a tool that the firm can use to compete with rivals and succeed
eventually. Examples of competitive tactics are price leaders, product differentiation, price and
differentiation focus, timing tactics, and market location tactics (Mitchell, n.d.). Today this essay will
analyze the competitive tactic of Wal Mart Stores Inc., the retail giant of America. Furthermore, a
SWOT analysis will be performed on the company to understand its internal and external
environment, and finally a new competitive tactic that it should attempt will be formulated.
Wal Mart Stores Inc., created by the business tycoon Sam Walton, is a giant corporation providing
retail services to the American population. From hypermarkets, to regular grocery stores, Wal Mart
has been able to open its doors to even the remotest location in USA. With many competitors lagging
behind such as Target, Alders, Kmart, and Costco, Wal Mart has been able to maintain the lead in the
retail market. As a matter of fact, as a competitive tactic, Wal Mart focuses on maintaining lower
prices with their motto being Everyday Low Prices .
Wal Mart has been able to maintain a price leadership strategy due to the vastness of the corporation.
It is said that within a 15 miles range, there must be a Wal Mart for almost every customer in USA
(Walmart, n.d.). With around 4,700 stores in USA alone, it has been able to become the routine
shopping place of numerous households. Since the very beginning, Wal Mart adopted the low price
leadership strategy and gradually started making profit based on the volume of sales (Hyde R., n.d.).
From tires to electronics, Wal Mart Supercenters are premises selling almost everything and in great
varieties. After having been able to capture a vast number of customers and leading as a retailer with
suppliers relying on Wal Mart for more than 20% of their sale, it started leveraging its bargaining
power against suppliers and pressuring them to keep lowering their prices. They are reputed in
minimizing overhead and cost, especially when it comes to employees wages and utilities (Hyde R.,

Chemotherapy In Children
Cancer starts when cells in a body start to grow out of control. Cells in almost any part of the body can
become cancer and can spread to other areas of the body. Cancer is challenging in both children and
adults and chemotherapy, how the cancer formed in the body, and getting diagnosed are some of the
difficult things. Compared to adults, children have a better response to chemotherapy. Children are
more responsive to chemotherapy than adults because children have vulnerable cancer cells which are
the ideal target for chemotherapy. The cells for the cancers more likely in children, like leukemia and
nervous system cancer, increase rapidly and they respond to chemotherapy in a more dramatic fashion.
Furthermore, most side effects of chemotherapy for children are temporary. ... Show more content on

Childhood cancers are often the result of DNA changes in cells that take place very early in their life,
sometimes before birth. Some children inherit DNA mutations from their parent which increases their
risks of cancer. Leukemia, a common childhood cancer, is caused by changes of DNA inside bone
marrow cells. There are two conditions that children can be born with that increase their chance of
getting cancer, Beckwith Wiedemann syndrome and Fanconi s anemia. Beckwith Wiedemann
syndrome is an overgrowth disorder and it can cause Wilms tumor, a type of tumor that starts in
kidneys. Fanconi anemia is inherited and it affects the bone marrow which can cause leukemia. Adults
can get cancer more ways than children. Environmental factors and lifestyle choices play a major role
in adults getting cancer. A major factor for cancer in America is obesity. Obesity will soon take over
tobacco as the number one risk for cancer. Obesity causes colon, rectum, kidney, pancreas and other

Nuclear Bomb Impact On Society
Nuclear bombs changed warfare forever. Secret cities full of power plants and innocent people called
the Manhattan Project created the nuclear bomb that fell upon those Nagasaki and Hiroshima. Most of
these cities consisted of women, excited because they were helping the war efforts, in hopes of getting
their fathers, husbands, brothers, and friends home as soon as they could. Innocent women were
recruited to work at the power plant in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. They were tricked into thinking that
they were helping their American soldiers win the long, devastating, and tiresome war. They would do
anything for their soldiers, some of which were family members or close friends that were sent across
the ocean in a war. Helen Hall was approached in a diner in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, when she was
18, only knew that her task was to monitor the gauge needles. Very few women, and men, working in
the secret cites had any idea that they were working toward something like the nuclear bomb that
would kill so many people. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

The Smallpox Virus
Smallpox is one of the most lethal virus known to man. It is devastating to individual systems, and it s
high level of contagion makes it a major threat to populations, as seen historically, before mass
vaccination was available. For many years before an understanding about the virus was developed,
thousands suffered and died from it, with no relief except perhaps that of a comforting nurse. As
scientific inquiry advanced, so did the approach to dealing with the virus, beginning with its primitive
inoculation, to it s eradication from the natural environment. In recent years, the study of the virus has
lead to harnessing it in the laboratory with the constant threat of biological warfare. The virus now

goals, stated in such a way as to define what business the company is in or to be in and the kind of

Plato s Apology Of Socrates
The philosopher Socrates remains, as he was in his lifetime (469 399 B.C.E) an enigma, an inscrutable
individual who, despite having written nothing, is considered one of the handful of philosophers who
forever changed how philosophy itself was to be conceived. He is the son of a sculptor and a midwife.
It is always talking, wearing a coarse coat, through the streets barefoot, in any weather. It has an
ignorant and vulgar appearance, it is ugly and unbearable and whining woman. He never leaves
Athens, is not interested in the science of nature but the human world, and especially to moral issues.
He questions the essence of the virtues (such as courage, justice, piety, friendship, love ...) and seeks
to propose definitions. We can say that the Socratic question par excellence is of the form What is x? .

Cicero said of Socrates that he was the father of philosophy . If Socrates may well deserve the title,
this is not because it would have proposed a doctrine , a set of dogmas from which philosophical
knowledge could be built into the system , but because it has raised the idea philosophy , understood

Problem of Congestion in Cellular Network
Shiva Nageswara Rao Bandereddy (sbandere@hawk.iit.edu)
College of Science Department
Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago, USA.
Abstract In the next few years there will be an exponential grow in mobile data traffic due to the
tremendous growth in mobile data like audio, video kind of different multimedia application. Cellular
network operators invest huge amount to make their infrastructure better like installing new cell tower
and offloading data traffic from cellular to the Wi Fi so that they can efficiently prevent congestion.
We all have observed call drops during the conversation at some time which is very annoying and so
this congestion problem gives hard time to customer and so the service provider too. In this project, I
want to research what are the main reason for the congestion of the cellular network and how it can be
avoided or minimized.
Index Terms Mobile, CAGR, Cisco, Congestion
I. INTRODUCTION
Congestion of networks is a network state where a node of link carries huge amount of data that may
deteriorate network service quality, resulting in queuing delay, frame or data packet loss and the
blocking of new connections. There could be a possible reason for a congestion like insufficient
bandwidth, when network data exceeds its capacity.
Wireless mobile network is independent?
When we think of a cellular network it is not a completely wireless network. No one has completely
independent wireless network.

Pros And Cons Of The Death Penalty
The Death Penalty The death penalty has become an extremely pressing issue in our culture today.
Both sides of the argument make very valid points. On one side the death penalty could potentially
make citizens feel more safe, and on the other hand people can argue that us as mere humans do not
have the authority to play God. I believe the death penalty should be abolished for a variety of
reasons; our government is a broken system, a proposed law would not end all murders, and we, as
humans, should not have the authority to determine whether someone lives or dies. In the article

He loves and cherishes His people, and because we bear His image He is a God of justice. When Jesus
died on the cross He fulfilled the old law, or the Old Testament; when his blood was shed it pardons us
from a spiritual death penalty. When reading the New Testament it is full of new framework; rather
than constant justice, there is grace and mercy. The New Testament calls out hypocrisy. For example,
in John 8:2 11 Jesus shows His followers and disciples that we no longer need to condemn others for a
sin that they are in, because we have not removed the plank in our own eye.
At dawn he appeared again in the temple courts, where all the people gathered around him, and he sat

controversy arose about whether or not his death was the result of suicide. Most confirmed that this is

Things I Hate About You with Julia Stiles ( Heath Ledger: Biography, n.d.). After that movie he began
to climb the ranks of Hollywood due to his undoubtable talent. He was won best actor by a few critics

Themes Of Honor In A Tale Of Two Cities
Ashlyn Tilby
Miss. Tao
Honors English 10

What of Honor?
Some would say that honor is a thing of the past; a thing long since extinct with the King Arthur and
the knights of the round table. In fact, it is not, it is real and can still be seen all around through people
all the time. In Charles Dicken s novel, A Tale of Two Cities, honor and dishonor are main themes that
are exemplified and enacted through many characters. To be honorable, or to act in honor, is to act in a
way that is not necessarily socially acceptable, but is morally right, noble, and kind. To be
dishonorable is to neglect the basic responsibility of treating every human being in the respectful
manner they deserve, giving no variance to rank or status. Throughout the book different men show
varying degrees of honor and dishonor.
One such man was Charles Darnay, who, throughout the entire novel, was a prime example of honor
and merit. In the early part of the novel, Darnay pays a visit to his oppressive uncle who was a French
Marquis, and responsible for the death and poverty of many of his subjects. Darnay went to the
Marquis on behalf of those being oppressed by his family member; beseeching his uncle to have
mercy and act with benevolence toward those peasants he disregarded so easily. Darnay, unable to
convince his uncle of the need to change his ways left his home country for good to be free of his
family s misdeeds. In chapter twenty four of Book the Second the author gives a

The Disadvantages Of Robotics
IN THE early 20th century the future seemed bright for horse employment. Within 50 years cars and
tractors made short work of equine livelihoods. Some futurists see a cautionary tale for humanity in
the fate of the horse: it was economically indispensable until it wasn t. The common retort to such
concerns is that humans are far more cognitively adaptable than beasts of burden. Yet as robots grow
more nimble, humans look increasingly vulnerable. A new working paper concludes that, between
1990 and 2007, each industrial robot added per thousand workers reduced employment in America by
nearly six workers. Humanity may not be sent out to pasture, but the parallel with horses is still
uncomfortably close. Robots are just one small part of the technological wave squeezing people. The
International Federation of Robotics defines industrial robots as machines that are automatically
controlled and re programmable; single purpose equipment does not count. The worldwide population
of such creatures is below 2m; America has slightly fewer than two robots per 1,000 workers (Europe
has a bit more than two). But their numbers are growing, as is the range of tasks they can tackle, so
findings of robot driven job loss are worth taking seriously. The paper s authors, Daron Acemoglu of
the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Pascual Restrepo of Boston University, are
careful to exclude confounding causes as best they can. Their results are not driven by a few robot

A Reading of Micheaux s Within Our Gates (1920)
In 1920, pioneering African American film director Oscar Micheaux released his second picture,
Within Out Gates. The film is a silent drama that revolves around a young professional woman, Sylvia
Landry, her quest to fund an opening rural school for black children, and her past experience of violent
racism in the South. It is a work largely concerned with African Americans as being at a sort of
impasse in history and, furthermore, with the positing of a strong ideal of upward social mobility for
black citizens going into the post war era. In the film s beginning, Micheaux introduces a ... Show

Further into the film, it becomes apparent that they are actually posited as two narratives of African
American status in the United States. In the North, Micheaux portrays an African American
professional middle class; in the South, he portrays African Americans as largely impoverished,
uneducated, and subject to unfair systems of tenancy. In the North, there is a sense of opportunity; in
the South, there is one of inferiority and constant struggle. Sylvia, who travels between these two
worlds, can be seen as somewhat symbolic of her race at this point in history, or at least Micheaux s
ideal for advancement. She is educated, a professional, and individually capable; her main concern is
with the eternal struggle of her race and how she could uplift it. Yet she is, at the same time, haunted
by a past of subjugation and violence. In a jarring sequence toward the film s end, it is revealed
through flashback that her adoptive parents were lynched for the murder of their landlord, Gridlestone,
a crime actually committed by a white tenant, and intercut with the depiction of this killing is an scene
in which the victim s brother, another white aristocrat, attempts to rape Sylvia in retribution. During
this attack, the man realizes that Sylvia is his daughter from a past relationship with a black woman,
which commentators, J. Ronald Green for one, speculate to be implied as similarly violent or coercive
in nature. (Green, 40).

The Types Of Support That An End User May Require
Chapter 2: Literature Review
The four types of support that an end user may require are general support, functional support, data
support, and purchasing support. General support includes networks, software, hardware, and other
training related support (Govindarajulu, 2014). General Support is the only form of support that will
be included in this study. A university will on average work only with general support for their users.
While some authors (Gibson, 2014, for example) focus on a general overview of help desk
requirements, others PChelps (2008) look more closely at different aspects including costs, where
users get their support (Govindarajulu, 2014), and how to evaluate a help desk (Sheehan, 2007). This
case study will take a quantitative approach to evaluation of a help desk instead of a qualitative as
other researchers have conducted. This literature review will discuss how the help desk affects a
company s reputation, the costs it has to a company, how a help desk can be evaluated, and how to

Cross Cultural Communication Important For Businesses
In this report, I will justify, why is cross cultural communication important for businesses in the 21st
century. Cross cultural communication is a very important factor for businesses in these days because
of the rapid economic development hence globalisation.
Therefore, knowledge and understanding of a cultural diversity are a must especially for businesses
operated worldwide to correctly react to body language, symbols, gestures or situations that can be
easily misunderstood due to cultural differences and can lead to the unsuccessful transactions,
contracts or a business as a whole, for example, Americans or British use the gesture thumb up to
express that everything going well, while in Bangladesh it means rude or awful. Living or doing a
business in different country does not only mean knowing their food, music or clothing, but mainly to
understand their beliefs and values, as these are usually hidden deeply beneath the surface, even
though we may find some habits or beliefs in the different country s culture to be same or very similar
to ours.
In my opinion, it is very difficult to talk about cultural differences without making statements or
likelihood, hence generalisations, which can help to describe how people from one culture usually
behave and react in a particular situation. However, even though generalisation can help to learn and
understand different cultures around the world, it can lead to a negative stereotyping,
miscommunication and conflicts.

The Success Of Michael Vick
Another reason Michael Vick rebuilt his image after the dog fighting scandal of 2007 was that he
helped develop the Animal Fighting Speculation Prohibition Act. One way he did that was helping
craft the future to prevent dog fighting. Once Vick and a few others came up with the idea, they
brought it to Wayne Pacelle, the president of the Humane Society. We saw a great opportunity for me
to come to Capitol Hill and draw attention to some of the inadequate animal welfare laws (Vick). Vick
was eight years old when he saw his first dog fight. Back then, police would come break up the fights,
but no one would be arrested. Vick wanted to change that.

For instance, Philadelphia Eagles fans had mixed reactions with Vick s signing. Some supported him,
and others were very upset. For example, the owner of a sandwich shop vowed to never serve Vick
food (Vick). Vick didn t let this bother him, because he just had to keep going. Also, protesters in
Philadelphia didn t want the Eagles to sign quarterback Michael Vick, because he was a convicted
felon ( Protester Again ). Vick new this and used it as fuel to work as hard as he could on and off the
field to prove those people wrong. Vick wanted people to know that he was not only going to talk the
talk, but he was going to walk the walk as well (Vick). One night, after Vick had a meeting with James
Dubose, who was producing a documentary on him, a reporter/sports writer followed him onto the
elevator. He asked Vick what he ate, if he had any drinks, and who he was talking to. He did this all to
try to expose him violating his probation (Vick). Vick was disturbed by this, because it meant that
some people hated him so much that they would go that far out of their way just to get rid of him.
Andy Reid, the Eagles coach at the time, took particular interest in Vick s recovery because he had
two sons imprisoned in 2007 for drug abuse. He knew what it was like seeing all those men in prison
throwing their lives away. Vick received advice and help from Coach

My Creation Of A Soundtrack For Octavia E. Butler s...
Soundtracks to films often strive to represent the themes and feeling of the film, and direct the
audience towards particular emotions. A good soundtrack not only allows for the listener to understand
the film better, but it should also bring to mind particular scenes, images, or characters. Soundtracks
for books can do the same. In my creation of a soundtrack for Octavia E. Butler s Parable of the
Sower, I strove to encompass Lauren s journey throughout the novel and the various emotions that she
experiences. Lauren writes about her experiences, and therefore, her reactions become central to the
audiences feeling and. The songs follow along with Lauren, with her despair, death, and the need for
survival. As I scoured through song after ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
She and her friends lost their families, homes, and everything they own. The lyrics in the song say: We
sat and made a list / Of all the things that we have, which Lauren does as she scavenges through her
charred house, and when Harry and Zahra figure out what things they can save ( Things We Lost in
the Fire ) (Butler 160, 173). The song is somber and reflective of the horrible events that have
occurred, much like Lauren s journal. Bleeding Out by Imagine Dragons is representative of the
journey Lauren, Harry, and Zahra endure as they move north in search of safety. Throughout the novel
the group experiences hardship, pain, hunger, and love. They are willing to put themselves out on the
line for each other as the song supports: I m bleeding out / So if the last thing that I do / Is bring you
down / I ll bleed out for you (Imagine Dragons). The song is melancholy, but also fast paced which is
indicative of the group s movement through the terrain. They come across different factions where
they experience bloodshed, death, and learn more about the horrors of the world. Yet they stick up for
one another and join together to form a stronger unit. In once particular scene, the original trio comes
up against wild dogs, which the song can relate to directly: When the hour is nigh /And hopelessness
is sinking in /And the wolves all cry / To fill the night with hollering (Imagine Dragons). The incident
with the dogs on the beach as Laruen describes, are wild

Cirque Du Freak Is A Fantasy Book By Darren
The Book Cirque du Freak is a Fantasy book by Darren Shan. In this book, the characters Darren and
Steve end up at a freak show. At the show, a lot of really weird things happen. Then, the director of the
show, Mr. Creepsly s poisonous spider bites Steve and the only way Steve can survive is if Darren
becomes a vampire and saves him. Darren in the book Cirque Du Freak, is clearly an archetypal hero
by saving Steve. Darren saves Steve by becoming a Vampire. This can be proven by the Initiating

careful because if it bit him, he would probably die. So one day Darren invited Steve over and showed
him the spider. Steve said, you.....you, you stole Madam Octa! [148]. He couldn t believe his eyes.
Steve wanted to pet it and play with it. Darren told Steve how to hold it and if it crawled on his head

excellent actors, namely Cho Jae hyun, Yoon Kye sang and Cho Seong ha and won the AQCC Prize

the reason Cho Jae hyun is so distant from people and treats convicts like garbage. His actions come
from the sense of betrayal, since in the past his co worker was killed by a prisoner Cho Jae hyun had

Essay On The Babylonians
The Babylonian civilization existed from around 3000 BC until 539 BC. The civilization has its roots
to Mesopotamia, a plain between the Tigris River and the Euphrates River, which is now in modern
day Iraq. The Babylonians are notoriously famous in their discoveries and inventions, most of which
we still use today. The civilization developed ideas such as astronomy, in which they created the Saros
Cycle, a cycle used to predict solar and lunar eclipses. The Babylonians were also masters in
architecture, constructing buildings like the Hanging Gardens using innovative techniques including
glass covered bricks and adornments of gold and bronze. However, despite many of these discoveries
being forgotten or lost, their advancements in mathematics have been kept for centuries, and have
brought modern ideas of angles, quadratic equations and even knowledge about the Pythagoras
theorem, before Pythagoras himself existed.
One modern day use of mathematics and quadratic equations, created by Babylonians, was the
collection of taxes. Mesopotamia was a very fertile land; therefore there were a high number of
farmers in the Babylonian Empire. Because of the high number of farmers, tax collectors and
mathematicians had to develop a new and more efficient way of calculating the ... Show more content

Speech On Dainty Jewelry
before leaving home, always take a last look in the mirror and take the last piece off Coco Chanel.
Surely, the pioneer of woman fashion didn t see the dainty jewelries coming to rule the world. Or else,
she would ve advised the opposite.
less is more no matter how much clichéd it is, it is true to the point. And, when it comes to jewelry,
trust me, it s the best approach. Women love jewelry. The more we get, the happier we become. But
please, we don t collect them to wear all of them together! After all, you really don t want to get
hidden behind your jewelry. And, here comes the role played by dainty jewelry in the world of fashion
today.
Dainty over Fine Jewelry
Recently, a picture of a bride went viral. She was covered in gold jewelry from head to below her
knees. But unfortunately, it only highlighted the wealth of the groom and, hid the bride herself. Ask
yourself, how many of you want that? I am sure none, if you consider yourself fashion conscious.
Well, dainty jewelry used in everyday fashion may not be an option for our traditional weddings; but
chic, light weight jewelries definitely are. The best thing about this dainty jewelry is that it fits
perfectly with all types of attires. The most interesting fact about it is that it doesn t usually create a
hole in your wallet. It is really inexpensive, and the cost ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Dainty jewelries are made of various materials. In fact unconventional materials such as clay, cotton
thread, wood, straw, non jewel stone, bids, coconut shell, sea shell etc. are really regular in making
dainty jewelries. Therefore, being careful while styling these pieces is really important. For example,
if you are wearing shell or clay jewelry to office or any formal occasion, then there s a red flag for
you. Similarly, if you are trying traditional Bangladeshi outfits, then going for these items are the best
options instead of delicate chain pearl made

Hofstede s Four Cultural Dimensions With Fons Trompenaars...
A) Compare and contrast Geert Hofstede s four cultural dimensions with Fons Trompenaars models.
Geert Hofstede four cultural dimension are as below mentioned: Power Distance Index (PDI): The
principle issue here is the means by which a general public handles disparities among individuals.
Power Distance is the degree to which the least capable individuals from associations and
establishments (like the family) acknowledge and it is the extent to which power is to be expected that
it is dispersed unequally. Individualism (IDV) vs Collectivism: For this dimension says that the people
are incorporated into gatherings. In individualistic social orders, the anxiety is put on individual
accomplishments and individual rights they worry about themselves and family member s
.Conversely, in collectivism social orders, people act prevalently as individuals from a deep rooted and
binding gathering family groups in society. Uncertainty avoidance index (UAI): A general public s
resistance for rules and regulations. It mirrors the degree to which individuals from a general public
endeavor to adapt to tension by minimizing instability. A few individuals have control surprising
circumstance. Masculinity vs Femininity: A Masculinity societies qualities are aggressiveness,
decisiveness, realism, desire and force, while female societies put more esteem on connections and
personal satisfaction. In manly societies, the contrasts between sex parts are more sensational and less

Mitral Valve Prolapse
Mitral Valve Prolapse
Michele Tolliver
Body Systems, LRC Class #1
October 7, 2014
The flow of blood through the heart is controlled by four valves. If any are not working correctly,
blood cannot flow or be pumped effectively to the heart. The four valves are: the tricuspid, pulmonary
semilunar, mitral, and aortic semilunar. There are many abnormalities or defects that can affect their
operation and in this paper, I will discuss the most common one which is a mitral valve prolapse. A
valvular prolapse is an abnormal protrusion of a heart valve that causes the valve to not close
completely. It is also known as click murmur syndrome and Barlow s syndrome and is more prevalent
in women than men. It has a strong hereditary ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The best treatments may vary but may include: * Exercise * Pain relievers * Daily low dose of aspirin
* Relaxation and stress reduction techniques * Avoidance of caffeine and other stimulants
The use of beta blockers to slow the heart rate may benefit patients who have episodes of tachycardia,
or rapid heartbeats, with the mitral valve prolapse. Unless it has progressed to something severe, the
patientwill probably not need treatment. If it has become severe, then the patient can benefit from
surgery to repair or replace the leaky valve. Although it sounds scary, it is a condition that can be
managed quite easily and the patient can live a normal lifestyle without any impairment or major
adjustment to your activities.

benefits it gives it employees, include: profit sharing and empowering employees to make decisions.

The organization supported the unions and their negotiators to lead employee surveys and to research
their most important issues prior to each contract negotiation.
Its strategy, right from having standardized fleet to having minimal but motivated employees while
presenting employee profit sharing arrangements, have helped it pick up an exemplary position which
can t be easily moved by any of its rivals. With its punctual flight record, pleasantly approachable
staff, impressive customer service, despite the fact that it offers no frills, there is still a high level of
customer satisfaction that continuously builds customer loyalty for the organization.
While it follows a Point to Point system enabling it to have punctual and less costly flight schedule,
most of its competitors follow a Hub and Spoke model. The change from their existing system to the

A Research On Fixed Income Investing
This research has important implications for Buy and Maintain fixed income investing. While there
are many more attributes to take into account when choosing fixed income securities (multiple issues
per issuer based on tenor, subordination, etc.), each fixed income security has arguably less
idiosyncratic factors driving its return than an equivalent equity security. When building a Buy and
Maintain portfolio that is resilient to various economic environments and stages of the business cycle,
one must therefore draw from the entire global fixed income market; and, the global bond universe is
huge.
But how many issuers are needed to achieve a well diversified
Buy and Maintain portfolio? Given there are over 200 industry sectors, then if the fund manager
chooses five issuers per sector to feel confident of diversifying default risk, the portfolio would need
to hold a minimum of 1,000 issuers in total! Instead, the fund manager should aim to hold a minimum
of 200 issuers to maximize yield and protect against both market risk (through smart sector and
geographic construction) and idiosyncratic risk from any particular issuer (through smart issuer and
issue selection). 14 | Buy and Maintain: A smarter approach to credit portfolio management

Essay On Harriet Tubman
Harriet Tubman
I had reasoned this out in my mind, there was one of two things I had a right to, liberty or death; if I
could not have one, I would have the other. Tubman
The world was blessed with Harriet Tubman in 1822 on the eastern shore of Maryland. Unfortunately,
Tubman was born into this world as a slave and lived on a plantation with her family, which consisted
of four brothers and four sisters. Her parents named her Araminta Minty Ross but soon, with the
coming of age, she changed her name from Araminta to Harriet taking after her mother, Harriett

He was a freeborn black Pennsylvanian who could read and write. He used these talents to interview
runaway slaves and record their names and stories in a book. He hoped that in the future, families
could trace their relations using this book. William Still published the book in 1872 under the title The
Underground Railroad which describes many of Tubman s efforts. With Still by her side, along with
other members of the Philadelphia anti slavery society, Tubman soon learned all about the
Underground Railroad. The curiosity exposed the hero within Harriet.
In 1850, Harriet helped her first slaves escape to the North. She sent a message to her sister s oldest
son that said for her sister and family to board a fishing boat in Cambridge, from there Harriet guided
them from safehouse to safehouse in Pennsylvania, which was also a free state, until they reached
Philadelphia. For Tubman, family came first.
In September of the same year, Harriet was made an official conductor of the Underground Railroad.
This meant that she knew all the routes to free territory and she had to take an oath of silence so the
secret of the Underground Railroad would be kept secret. Not like she d actually say something about
it anyway. She also made a second trip to the South to rescue her brother James and other friends.
They were already in the process of running away so Harriet aided them across a river and to the home

The disadvantage of using technology as a means to communicate with others is people tend to lose fluency in non verbal cues, as a result misunderstand and offend others. Without the reproductive system you wouldn t have been born. In order to produce offspring, the male and female reproductive systems have to be different. Each system has different parts, problems and care. Each system have different purposes, the male reproductive system s function is to produce sperm, while the female reproductive system s function is to produce ova, store ova and house a fertilized egg. Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The system is comprised of a variety of different parts. The first part is the ovaries. The ovaries contain thousands of immature ova at first that eventually mature during puberty. The ovaries produce estrogen and progesterone which allow the ova to mature. Next are the fallopian tubes. They are tubes that carry the ova from the ovaries to the uterus. The uterus is a pear shaped organ. It shelters and nourishes a developing baby, or fetus. The endometrial lines the uterus. It thickens during pregnancy. The opening of the uterus is the cervix. The vagina is the muscular passage from the uterus to the outside of the body. It serves as a passing place for menstrual fluid and other discharge. The menstrual cycle is something that a lot of girls and even guys have questions about. The menstrual cycle is something that only girls go through once they experience puberty. It is nothing more then the route of an egg through the female s reproductive system. The menstrual cycle starts as the egg matures in the ovary. The egg is then released from the ovary during the process called ovulation. The egg then travels in the fallopian tube until it reaches the uterus. This story has some parallel tales told in the Old Testament such as Genesis, Exodus and the Psalms. In Enuma Elish presented to the father and mother as Apsu and Tiamat represented as saltwater and freshwater and were present before the creation of the universe. Genesis also describes a world full of chaos and God decided to give skills to everyone in order to bring a new order. In Enuma Elish, Ea joins Damkina and has a divine and perfect son whom they call Marduk. In the tablet fragments, phrases were recited found in the Bible, such as Divine the womb That bore him (Luke 11:27), My beloved is! My son, who is my Sun, Sun for all the Heavens (Matt 3:17). • 5. Competitive Tactic Of Walmart WALMART The ultimate way to define itself in a competitive market, a corporation must have a competitive tactic to survive. A competitive tactic is a tool that the firm can use to compete with rivals and succeed eventually. Examples of competitive tactics are price leaders, product differentiation, price and differentiation focus, timing tactics, and market location tactics (Mitchell, n.d.). Today this essay will analyze the competitive tactic of Wal Mart Stores Inc., the retail giant of America. Furthermore, a SWOT analysis will be performed on the company to understand its internal and external environment, and finally a new competitive tactic that it should attempt will be formulated. Wal Mart Stores Inc., created by the business tycoon Sam Walton, is a giant corporation providing retail services to the American population. From hypermarkets, to regular grocery stores, Wal Mart has been able to open its doors to even the remotest location in USA. With many competitors lagging behind such as Target, Alders, Kmart, and Costco, Wal Mart has been able to maintain the lead in the retail market. As a matter of fact, as a competitive tactic, Wal Mart focuses on maintaining lower prices with their motto being Everyday Low Prices . Wal Mart has been able to maintain a price leadership strategy due to the vastness of the corporation. It is said that within a 15 miles range, there must be a Wal Mart for almost every customer in USA (Walmart, n.d.). With around 4,700 stores in USA alone, it has been able to become the routine shopping place of numerous households. Since the very beginning, Wal Mart adopted the low price leadership strategy and gradually started making profit based on the volume of sales (Hyde R., n.d.). From tires to electronics, Wal Mart Supercenters are premises selling almost everything and in great varieties. After having been able to capture a vast number of customers and leading as a retailer with suppliers relying on Wal Mart for more than 20% of their sale, it started leveraging its bargaining power against suppliers and pressuring them to keep lowering their prices. Secret cities full of power plants and innocent people called the Manhattan Project created the nuclear bomb that fell upon those Nagasaki and Hiroshima. Most of these cities consisted of women, excited because they were helping the war efforts, in hopes of getting their fathers, husbands, brothers, and friends home as soon as they could. Innocent women were recruited to work at the power plant in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. They were tricked into thinking that they were helping their American soldiers win the long, devastating, and tiresome war. They would do anything for their soldiers, some of which were family members or close friends that were sent across the ocean in a war. Helen Hall was approached in a diner in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, when she was 18, only knew that her task was to monitor the gauge needles. For many years before an understanding about the virus was developed, thousands suffered and died from it, with no relief except perhaps that of a comforting nurse. As scientific inquiry advanced, so did the approach to dealing with the virus, beginning with its primitive inoculation, to it s eradication from the natural environment. Plato s Apology Of Socrates The philosopher Socrates remains, as he was in his lifetime (469 399 B.C.E) an enigma, an inscrutable individual who, despite having written nothing, is considered one of the handful of philosophers who forever changed how philosophy itself was to be conceived. He is the son of a sculptor and a midwife. It is always talking, wearing a coarse coat, through the streets barefoot, in any weather. It has an ignorant and vulgar appearance, it is ugly and unbearable and whining woman. He never leaves Athens, is not interested in the science of nature but the human world, and especially to moral issues. He questions the essence of the virtues (such as courage, justice, piety, friendship, love ...) and seeks to propose definitions. That shows the figure of Socrates is that philosophy is both conceptual thinking and a way of living that doing philosophy is basically to be desired to steer his life in righteousness and ... Problem Of Congestion Of Cellular Network Essay  Problem of Congestion in Cellular Network Shiva Nageswara Rao Bandereddy (sbandere@hawk.iit.edu) College of Science Department Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago, USA. Abstract In the next few years there will be an exponential grow in mobile data traffic due to the tremendous growth in mobile data like audio, video kind of different multimedia application. Cellular network operators invest huge amount to make their infrastructure better like installing new cell tower and offloading data traffic from cellular to the Wi Fi so that they can efficiently prevent congestion. We all have observed call drops during the conversation at some time which is very annoying and so this congestion problem gives hard time to customer and so the service provider too. In this project, I want to research what are the main reason for the congestion of the cellular network and how it can be avoided or minimized. Index Terms Mobile, CAGR, Cisco, Congestion I. INTRODUCTION Congestion of networks is a network state where a node of link carries huge amount of data that may deteriorate network service quality, resulting in queuing delay, frame or data packet loss and the blocking of new connections. There could be a possible reason for a congestion like insufficient bandwidth, when network data exceeds its capacity. Wireless mobile network is independent? On one side the death penalty could potentially make citizens feel more safe, and on the other hand people can argue that us as mere humans do not have the authority to play God. I believe the death penalty should be abolished for a variety of reasons; our government is a broken system, a proposed law would not end all murders, and we, as humans, should not have the authority to determine whether someone lives or dies. • 16. Themes Of Honor In A Tale Of Two Cities Ashlyn Tilby Miss. Tao Honors English 10 1 October 2017 What of Honor? Some would say that honor is a thing of the past; a thing long since extinct with the King Arthur and the knights of the round table. In fact, it is not, it is real and can still be seen all around through people all the time. In Charles Dicken s novel, A Tale of Two Cities, honor and dishonor are main themes that are exemplified and enacted through many characters. To be honorable, or to act in honor, is to act in a way that is not necessarily socially acceptable, but is morally right, noble, and kind. To be dishonorable is to neglect the basic responsibility of treating every human being in the respectful manner they deserve, giving no variance to rank or status. Throughout the book different men show varying degrees of honor and dishonor. One such man was Charles Darnay, who, throughout the entire novel, was a prime example of honor and merit. In the early part of the novel, Darnay pays a visit to his oppressive uncle who was a French Marquis, and responsible for the death and poverty of many of his subjects. Darnay went to the Marquis on behalf of those being oppressed by his family member; beseeching his uncle to have mercy and act with benevolence toward those peasants he disregarded so easily. • 17. The Disadvantages Of Robotics IN THE early 20th century the future seemed bright for horse employment. Within 50 years cars and tractors made short work of equine livelihoods. Some futurists see a cautionary tale for humanity in the fate of the horse: it was economically indispensable until it wasn t. The common retort to such concerns is that humans are far more cognitively adaptable than beasts of burden. Yet as robots grow more nimble, humans look increasingly vulnerable. A new working paper concludes that, between 1990 and 2007, each industrial robot added per thousand workers reduced employment in America by nearly six workers. Humanity may not be sent out to pasture, but the parallel with horses is still uncomfortably close. Robots are just one small part of the technological wave squeezing people. The International Federation of Robotics defines industrial robots as machines that are automatically controlled and re programmable; single purpose equipment does not count. The worldwide population of such creatures is below 2m; America has slightly fewer than two robots per 1,000 workers (Europe has a bit more than two). But their numbers are growing, as is the range of tasks they can tackle, so findings of robot driven job loss are worth taking seriously. The paper s authors, Daron Acemoglu of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Pascual Restrepo of Boston University, are careful to exclude confounding causes as best they can. A Reading Of Micheaux s Within Our Gates Ryan Baxter Ben Strassfeld Professor Daniel Herbert Screen Arts Cultures 352 14 October 2015 A Reading of Micheaux s Within Our Gates (1920) In 1920, pioneering African American film director Oscar Micheaux released his second picture, Within Out Gates. The film is a silent drama that revolves around a young professional woman, Sylvia Landry, her quest to fund an opening rural school for black children, and her past experience of violent racism in the South. It is a work largely concerned with African Americans as being at a sort of impasse in history and, furthermore, with the positing of a strong ideal of upward social mobility for black citizens going into the post war era. Further into the film, it becomes apparent that they are actually posited as two narratives of African American status in the United States. In the North, Micheaux portrays an African American professional middle class; in the South, he portrays African Americans as largely impoverished, uneducated, and subject to unfair systems of tenancy. In the North, there is a sense of opportunity; in the South, there is one of inferiority and constant struggle. Sylvia, who travels between these two worlds, can be seen as somewhat symbolic of her race at this point in history, or at least Micheaux s ideal for advancement. She is educated, a professional, and individually capable; her main concern is with the eternal struggle of her race and how she could uplift it. Yet she is, at the same time, haunted by a past of subjugation and violence. In a jarring sequence toward the film s end, it is revealed through flashback that her adoptive parents were lynched for the murder of their landlord, Gridlestone, a crime actually committed by a white tenant, and intercut with the depiction of this killing is an scene in which the victim s brother, another white aristocrat, attempts to rape Sylvia in retribution. During this attack, the man realizes that Sylvia is his daughter from a past relationship with a black woman, which commentators, J. Ronald Green for one, speculate to be implied as similarly violent or coercive in nature. (Green, 40). ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The Types Of Support That An End User May Require Chapter 2: Literature Review The four types of support that an end user may require are general support, functional support, data support, and purchasing support. General support includes networks, software, hardware, and other training related support (Govindarajulu, 2014). General Support is the only form of support that will be included in this study. A university will on average work only with general support for their users. While some authors (Gibson, 2014, for example) focus on a general overview of help desk requirements, others PChelps (2008) look more closely at different aspects including costs, where users get their support (Govindarajulu, 2014), and how to evaluate a help desk (Sheehan, 2007). This case study will take a quantitative approach to evaluation of a help desk instead of a qualitative as other researchers have conducted. Purpose of Help Desk The purpose of a help desk is to provide internal users (employees or students) and external users with technical support. • 22. Cross Cultural Communication Important For Businesses In this report, I will justify, why is cross cultural communication important for businesses in the 21st century. Cross cultural communication is a very important factor for businesses in these days because of the rapid economic development hence globalisation. Therefore, knowledge and understanding of a cultural diversity are a must especially for businesses operated worldwide to correctly react to body language, symbols, gestures or situations that can be easily misunderstood due to cultural differences and can lead to the unsuccessful transactions, contracts or a business as a whole, for example, Americans or British use the gesture thumb up to express that everything going well, while in Bangladesh it means rude or awful. Living or doing a business in different country does not only mean knowing their food, music or clothing, but mainly to understand their beliefs and values, as these are usually hidden deeply beneath the surface, even though we may find some habits or beliefs in the different country s culture to be same or very similar to ours. In my opinion, it is very difficult to talk about cultural differences without making statements or likelihood, hence generalisations, which can help to describe how people from one culture usually behave and react in a particular situation. However, even though generalisation can help to learn and understand different cultures around the world, it can lead to a negative stereotyping, miscommunication and conflicts. What ... • 32. A Research On Fixed Income Investing This research has important implications for Buy and Maintain fixed income investing. While there are many more attributes to take into account when choosing fixed income securities (multiple issues per issuer based on tenor, subordination, etc.), each fixed income security has arguably less idiosyncratic factors driving its return than an equivalent equity security. When building a Buy and Maintain portfolio that is resilient to various economic environments and stages of the business cycle, one must therefore draw from the entire global fixed income market; and, the global bond universe is huge. But how many issuers are needed to achieve a well diversified Buy and Maintain portfolio? Given there are over 200 industry sectors, then if the fund manager chooses five issuers per sector to feel confident of diversifying default risk, the portfolio would need to hold a minimum of 1,000 issuers in total! Instead, the fund manager should aim to hold a minimum of 200 issuers to maximize yield and protect against both market risk (through smart sector and geographic construction) and idiosyncratic risk from any particular issuer (through smart issuer and issue selection). 14 | Buy and Maintain: A smarter approach to credit portfolio management INVESTMENT INSIGHTS Buy and Maintain: A smarter approach to credit portfolio management Choose managers with the scale to buy new issues direct Insurance companies have large enough portfolios to matter to the fund managers that regularly ... Unfortunately, Tubman was born into this world as a slave and lived on a plantation with her family, which consisted of four brothers and four sisters. Her parents named her Araminta Minty Ross but soon, with the coming of age, she changed her name from Araminta to Harriet taking after her mother, Harriett Greene. At the age of 12 Harriet Ross was seriously injured by a blow to the head, inflicted by a white overseer, or a person who supervises others, for refusing to assist in tying ... He used these talents to interview runaway slaves and record their names and stories in a book. He hoped that in the future, families could trace their relations using this book. William Still published the book in 1872 under the title The Underground Railroad which describes many of Tubman s efforts. With Still by her side, along with other members of the Philadelphia anti slavery society, Tubman soon learned all about the Underground Railroad. The curiosity exposed the hero within Harriet. In 1850, Harriet helped her first slaves escape to the North. She sent a message to her sister s oldest son that said for her sister and family to board a fishing boat in Cambridge, from there Harriet guided them from safehouse to safehouse in Pennsylvania, which was also a free state, until they reached Philadelphia. For Tubman, family came first. In September of the same year, Harriet was made an official conductor of the Underground Railroad. This meant that she knew all the routes to free territory and she had to take an oath of silence so the secret of the Underground Railroad would be kept secret. Not like she d actually say something about it anyway. She also made a second trip to the South to rescue her brother James and other friends. They were already in the process of running away so Harriet aided them across a river and to the home ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
