National Gallery of Art, and the Art Institute of Chicago. Three pieces of artwork that I found to be
interesting to me and that caught my eye are The Harvesters by Pieter Bruegel the Elder found at

and Christ Washing the Feet of His Disciples by Nicolas Bertin found at http://www.artic.edu. There
are a lot of pieces of art to choose from in each museum, so I had to figure out a way to narrow it

Holden defies society by not applying himself at school and getting kicked out of different schools
numerous times. Apart from getting expelled from Pencey, while he is there Holden does not establish
any close relationships with his classmates, or any of the other boys at Pencey. He always finds
something bad to say about the people he has connections with, even his roommate Stradlater: He was
