A healthy person can drink three gallons of water per day. From our hearts to our kidneys, water
all has something to do to contribute to our body. It helps our body to refresh our body, push all the

For someone to be stationary, it could be longer for dehydration start. The more you work the
quicker dehydration start. The symptoms of dehydration are very clear and easy to see. They are
dizziness, dry, sticky mouth, headache, muscle fatigue and lack of urine. Left it untreated for
sometime and it could be server. If supplied enough water, you will feel refresh, active and your
mouth won't feel sticky. A clear example, when I went camping, after just several hours of working
to setting up tents and others necessities, my mouth felt sticky. I keep it a little longer and I felt
dizzy and my mouth was extremely sticky and I knew that dehydration has kicked in. I drank lots of
water and my mouth and my bodies gradually regain strength. So, that is how I got dehydrated.

Drinking too little water can lead to dehydration, but drinking to much water will cause
overhydrating. The symptoms are "You might be hot, have a headache, and just feel crummy"
(webmd.com). Therefore, just drink enough of water to quench your thirst, no more or no less. Both

I usually love water parks, especially on a dreadfully hot one like the one in this story, but this
experience kind of ruined them for me. My family and I headed to a water park in San Luis
Obispo. It was an old fashion water park with concrete hills with the slides built into them. The
sun was beating down like a laser on to anyone who dared step outside, a perfect day for a trip to a
water park right? Wrong, at least not for me. One afternoon of fun and excitement took a turn for the
worse not to far into the day. Let me explain.
During the car ride there, my family blabbed on about how my parents went to this water park
when they were in college. All my brain was thinking was how old this place was and exactly
how safe it was since it was built such a long time ago. My brother, being a teenager, didn't speak
a word, only occasional blurts of 'You guys are so old' and 'I want to go home and game.' I was
sort of excited, I mean, in weather like that day, that's all you wanted to do or even could do without
melting. Once we got to the park, my family grabbed all the bags with towels, sunscreen, snacks, you
know, the waterpark necessities. Stepping out of the car was like entering a human sized oven.
My skin sizzled even with the unbelieveable amount of sunscreen I had on. We hurried to the
entrance to get admittance to the park. Truly, I was shocked when I entered. I was expecting like
a normal water park with plastic slides and wave pools to chill in. But NO, this place even looked
old, not unsafe, like they may have renovated it once since my parents came, but the huge
concrete hills and all, kind of a give away. Once we claimed our beach chairs, my mom looked
around to see what slide we should go on first. We decided on a small slide, at least compared to
some of the other slides, where you slid down on a mat. I was slightly nervous, me being so light

On April 22, Earth Day is celebrated all throughout the world each year, since the first Earth Day

The documentary, Blue Gold, World Water Wars, was a dramatic depiction of the prognosis of
our ability to sustain life on the earth if we don't take very seriously the natural resource of water.
The movie by Sam Bozzo was released in 2008 and is based on the book Blue Gold: The Fight to
Stop the Corporate Theft of the World's Water by Maude Barlow and Tony Clarke. The movie
opens with a dramatic display of what happened to Pablo Valencia who in 1906 walked from Mexico
to California in search of gold. He survived without water for 7 days and documented the experience.
One of the most compelling statements from his experience was the statement, "who ever goes
without water for a week, cries blood." That statement was riveting and came to mind often during

It is ironic however, that although a lot of water is used for domestic purposes, many people do

some very important messages; water is a necessary component of all human beings, and its supply is

"dry suits" were worn over long underwear and sweat suits or sweaters. The clothing acted as an
insulator, and the rubber suit was used to simply keep the insulation dry. But when the easily

The goals and expectations I had for the adult swim lessons were to help adults reach a basic
understanding and skill level of water safety. From the start, I worked to ensure a clear portrayal
of by goals since, as Steven Covey and his fellow authors said in "The Power of Goals," "goal
setting is obviously a powerful process" (306). Planning and implementing my project took more
time than I initially believed on account of needing to secure pool space and at a time which
would work with both my swim coach's and my schedules. To start off, I put together a working

Hydration
Hydration is one of the key parts to staying healthy. Hydration is very important because your body
consists of mostly water. The right balance between water and electrolytes controls how most of the
bodies systems function, including our nerves and muscles. Proper hydration is important for proper
functioning of the brain. When you are well hydrated, brain cells are better provided with fresh,
oxygen–loaded blood, and the brain remains alert.
Water helps many different parts of your body function such as, body temperature, urine, your
blood, and your metabolism. Water helps keep a healthy metabolism by discharging itself in your
stomach to help to digest food. It helps in your blood to transport nutrients and oxygen to all the
cells of the body. It helps in urine to carry waste out of the body. It helps in sweat to remove heat

There are different references for water intake each day. Most people have been told they should
be drinking 6 to 8 8 ounce glasses of water each day, which is a pretty good goal. However,
different people need different quantities of water to stay hydrated. Most healthy people can
maintain good hydration by drinking water and other fluids whenever they feel thirsty. For some
people, fewer than 8 glasses may be plenty. Others may need more than 8 glasses each day.

I was with my family and the stop and not a lot of gasoline day but we found a small country that
almost abandoned I did not find people and I felt as if someone was watching us and I thought
that i was going to give but It was wrong me and my family are looking to see if there people to
give us water and we could not find anybody but we realized that they are hiding they think that
we are bad because I already had a lot of people who do not stop in the small country and I told them
that we are not bad that we did not come to buy water and person come out and asked them if they
sell waters and the person said they are grabbing here they got lost and I answered we did not run
out of water the person said yes and we said thank you we were thirsty

How many of you, when you go to a restaurant and the waiter/waitress asks you what you want to
drink ask for water?
How many you would select a glass of water out a fridge filled with soda, fruit juices, or beer?
My guess is probably not very many you actually choose water over the other options.
I used to be the same way.
I used to never drink water, and would always choose another beverage if I had the option.
However, after I began to hear about the importance of water in our lives, I began to choose water
whenever I needed something to drink.
I am not saying I never have anything other than water when I am thirsty, but the majority of the
time I choose water over any other beverage.

So water is needed to dissolve these nutrients and be carried throughout the body.
As you can see, water plays a major role in many factors of your body.
Water even can help produce benefits outside of your body as well, such as your wallet.
For example, when you go to a restaurant and order a soda, that is usually at least $2.
You could instead choose water, which is free.
If you would also choose water when you go out to eat and save the $2, you would save a decent
amount of money in a year.
Also, a 24 pack of bottled water is much cheaper than even a 12 pack of soda.
Therefore, buying a pack of bottled water would save you money as well.
Another way that you could save money is by investing in a filter of some sort, and drinking water
from the facet.
This would definitely decrease your spending on beverages during the year and save you a lot of
money.
As you can see, there are many benefits to drinking water.
I hope you know see how crucial water is to your body and why you should consume it on a regular
basis.
You can only survive several days without water, so make sure you drink up.
And by drinking water to ensure you stay living well, you will have some extra money to spend on
things in your life that you can enjoy.

The Effects Of Drinking Water On Our Lives Essay
Most dancers know the importance of drinking water in our busy lives. But have you ever
wondered what the actual effects of the consumption does for us? More than I thought, thats for
sure. I wanted to take the time to look into this simple task we do. Being a dancer were athletes
and must pay more attention to how much water we consume daily than an average person. A study
conducted by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) showed us results in water
consumption in peoples daily lives. In the study there were 3,397 adults surveyed and about 7% of
people reported to have no daily consumption of drinking water. On the opposite side of the table,
22% reported drinking 8 cups or more per day. The people who were not drinking any water are
now more likely prone to risk of health in numerous of way. An article from Medical News Today
states, "Most people take drinking water for granted, but keeping hydrated has a huge impact on
overall health. Despite how crucial water is, a significant number of people fail to consume
recommended levels of fluids each day." Important health factors including body temperature,
injury prevention, and recovery from activity all can be effected by water intake. Yes, I am a
culprit of not drinking as water as I am suppose to. After researching hydration importance and its
effects, I now know how vital this simple task is for me to take seriously in my daily life. Being a
