Flores de Mayo-history and origin we need to understand
Why Witness Rejected
1. Why Our Witness is Rejected
• We claim to see the supernatural.
• The skeptical mind perceives only the
natural world.
• “Are you smarter than me?”
• You See Something I Don’t?
So, we fix our eyes not on what is
seen, but on what is unseen. What is
seen is temporary, but the unseen is
eternal. 2Cor 4:18
2. Why Our Witness is Rejected
It threatens our sense of
sovereignty. We are individuals
with a conscious.
We resist yielding our destiny to an
unseen unknown Person.
We wish to retain power and
control not yield it
If you confess with your
mouth “Jesus is Lord” and
believe in your heart that God
raised him from the dead, you
will be saved” Romans 10:9
3. Why Our Witness is Rejected
Jesus makes claim to be exclusive.
This unsettles us. It divides.
Why not be inclusive?
People are cautious to suspicious
I am the way, the truth, and the life John 14:6
Yet truth is exclusive. If 1 + 1 = 2 it is exclusive
It excludes all other possible answers!
4. Why Our Witness is Rejected
Conviction of Sin, Righteousness, and Judgment
Light (Christ) has come into the world.,
but men loved darkness instead of the
light because their deeds were evil.
Everyone who does evil hates the light,
and will not come to the light for fear
that his deeds will be exposed Jn 3:19
5. • How did Life come from non-Life?
• How did Consciousness come from Non-Conscientiousness
• How did Sexuality come from Non-Sexuality?
• How did Moral Reasoning come from a Non-moral beings.
• How does Life explain or define evil, death, and or suffering?
•
6. There is no objective truth. There is only subjective truth
• Absolutely there are no absolutes. All is relative
• No reason exists for existence. We makes up our own reality
• Deconstruction of words make interpretations endless
• No Beginning - No Eternal Destiny
