hydrogen peroxide at varying pH levels and temperatures.
Purpose:
The chemical hydrogen peroxide(Hв‚‚Oв‚‚) is broken down by the enzyme catalase.
Hydrogen peroxide is a byproduct formed in cellular reactions that, if not broken
down, could inflict severe damage to the cell. Catalase is an enzyme that breaks
down hydrogen peroxide in to water and oxygen. How efficient and strong the
enzymes reaction to break down Hв‚‚Oв‚‚ determines largely on temperature and pH
level. An enzyme only functions within a set pH and temperature range. Beyond
that it becomes denatured, rendering it useless. The purpose of this lab is to
determine at which temperature and pH level the enzyme catalase reacts best.
Catalase in chicken and beef livers will be used to do the lab because enzymes still
function after death as long as they are kept refrigerated at a low temperature.
Hypothesis:
If the pH level is too acidic or too basic, then the reactivity and reaction rate of

The first time that catches your eye is a bog squared frame which captures the three
fourths of the whole painting. All the sides of the frame have the same length. The
color of the main frame is dark brown. The frame is three dimensional towards the
inside. The top side and the left one of the three dimensional surface towards the
inside have a lighter color, common to dark yellow mixed with light brown and
highlights of orange. But the color of the other side is bright yellow. There are
shades that separate the two colors and distinguish them from each other. That fact
discloses that there is a hidden source of light coming from the upper left of the

force, possesses the capacity to dictate one s life. Drawing the line between good and
evil, these desires for destruction have the ability to take utter control or linger within
the shadows. Manifesting from within, or as an exterior component, the darkness
within feeds on the destruction of humanity, stealing peoples innocence. It is within
the human condition to formulate decisions and to purposefully chose between right
and wrong. Character is defined by the actions of humanity including their ability to
choose, and take accountability for such choices. Within Harper Lee s To Kill a
Mockingbird and William Golding s Lord of the Flies, the authors explore the
essence of free will and its ramification amongst both good and bad characters.
Humanity is ultimately born with sin, but is not bound by it. Free will elevates
humans beyond their primitive state. In To Kill a Mockingbird, in spite of popular
belief that Atticus Finch won t win the case, he still willingly represented Tom
