threat for the likelihood of future problems. This is the case with 2 projects in South Sudan. The first
had close out problems because client condition of satisfaction for deliverables was not documented at
the start of the project, nor was it tracked, updated, discussed and agreed. During close out, senior
management from the client and contractor blamed each other for not having a plan making close out
a war of words to be settled by an Arbitrator. Also, another project, although with a documented close
out plan that was reviewed and updated on a monthly basis, did not include an agreement as to who
would be the receptor of project asset. This brought chaos during closure when government claimed
all assets should be turn over to them and the donor refused, simply because there was no indication of

De extinction offers the possibility for extinct species to be brought back to life by reproductive
cloning. Critics argue that de extinction will reduce the will of society to protect endangered species,
as well as harm the existing ecosystem upon species reintroduction. However, supporters argue that
many species would be great candidates for de extinction and will possibly be beneficial to the
ecosystem. I will argue that de extinction should not be pursued. I will argue that reintroduction of
unextinct species could cause humanity to become disinterested in protecting endangered species due
to the loss of finality of extinction. Furthermore, re introduction of extinct species into ecosystems
would negatively shift the balance, and may cause endangerment and potential extinction of otherwise
unharmed populations.
Some supporters of de extinction believe it to be reasonable for reviving recently extinct species as a
last resort in their conservation. However, it is a common belief among critics that it is of greater
import to protect endangered species and reduce human impact so as to prevent extinction. Shapiro, a
supporter of de extinction, argues that de extinction should not compete for funding with measures for
protection of endangered species. However, she argues that both extinct and extant species have
