Strategy, projects and outputs of i2TIC

2. i2TIC is an interdisciplinary and Inter-university research group.
Currently, be are 19 researchers in 7 different Universities.
The network i2TIC also includes 15 PhD students and members of several
institutions (collaboration agreements and research projects). The i2TIC
network integrates about 50 researchers from all over the world in the ICT
field.
The foundational spirit of the group: innovative research in object (guidelines
to results) and research methods.
The strategic objective of i2TIC: The personal and professional growth of the
network members, and to become a consolidated research group in 2013.

Background
3. Objective:
Analysis (the determinants and the results) of the interaction between ICT and
FICC on individuals and organizations in the explanation of value creation,
work, productivity, competitiveness, growth and economic development and
social welfare.
Research Programs:
i) Productivity, competitiveness, material welfare and economic growth
ii) People, work and not work
iii) Generation of value (innovation of value elements), activity sectors (finance,
commerce, tourism, ICT) and social structure (social classes, happiness,
human development, public policy).
iv) Territorial competitive advantage
