There two main means of providing and producing public services in the United States at the
different levels of government. The first mode is knows as in house production by direct
government workforce and contracting out to the private sector, which we refer to as privatization.
Privatization in the United States mainly implies contracting out of public services to the public
sector. Examples are local governments like the city or the county contracting out services like
street cleaning, garbage pick up and a disposal, education, healthcare, etc.
During the last three decades, privatization has become increasingly popular in our government.
This noticeable growth of privatization of public services has generated lots of discussions and

expected. When we broke that index into parts to look at the role of that interaction on elections to
state and federal office, we found that the expected relationship between income and the decline in
agriculture just did not occur. This baffling finding provides more questions that need answered,
but we have little to go on in determining that answer. The positive findings for the first three
models does provided evidence not just that southerners adjusted their voting due to changes in the
economy, particularly rising incomes. Instead we see that voters did for at least some voting
decisions, take into account changes in the structure of the economic system itself. The problem is
that the findings do not hold when we look at party strength for elections to state offices and
national offices. It is confusing how party strength itself can be significant but its components are

Mediation is a type of alternative dispute resolution that gives the two disputing parties a third party
to help them discuss and revise their points of conflict. The mediator acknowledges the points of
which the parties are in agreement upon and builds upon those to create a solution between the two
parties. Similarly, arbitrationincludes a third party that listens to the two disputing parties.
However, in arbitration the arbitrator or the third party gives a final decision. In most cases, the
decision given is binding. This means that it may not be reviewed or overturn by a court except in
very limited circumstances (Repa, n.d.). But some parties have been known to agree to a
nonbinding arbitration meaning that the award given can be rejected and the option of demanding
a trial can be used.

and tries through his own work to succeed, but as the events of the novel unfold, we see him tore
down and corrupted. The moral corruption of Jurgis can be seen as a reflection of the environment
in which he lived. In the end, Jurgis believed that the capitalistic society that he lived in was against
the common man. The Jungleillustrates how greed and unchecked capitalism can have
devastating effects on people. Capitalism fosters greed that when left unchecked can push people
to their moral and physical limits in order to make a profit from others. This led to many people
entering a cycle where they could not leave the factories and cities because they had no way to
