3. Introduction
• It is most common gynecological cancer.
• It develops in uterus.
• Most endometrial cancers are
adenocarcinomas ( cancerous cells that
release mucus and other fluids).
• 90 % cases are Endometrial and 10 % are
Myometrial.
4. Causes And Risk Factor
• Unknown
• Chronic exposure to estrogen
• Endometrial hyperplasia
• Obesity
• Tamoxifen
• A high-fat diet
• Diabetes
5. Others
• Age (common after age of 50)
• Family history of uterine cancer
• Personal history of any other cancer
• Prior pelvic radiation therapy.
6. Clinical Manifestation
• It is usually asymptomatic.
• Most cases occur in postmenopausal women.
• Abnormal vaginal bleeding
• Any bleeding after menopause
• Prolonged periods
• Non bloody discharge from vagina
• Pain during intercourse
7. Management
1. Surgical treatment : Hysterectomy (Removal Of
Uterus) Hysterectomy With Bilateral salpingo-
oophorectomy (Removal Of Uterus, fallopian
tubes and Ovaries) Lymph nodes Are also
removed.
2. Radiation therapy : Some women need both
Radiation and Surgery.
3. Hormone Therapy : Synthetic Progestin (a form
of hormone progesterone) and Gonadotropin
releasing hormone Agonists {these drugs can
lower estrogen levels in premenopausal
women }
8. 4. Chemotherapy :in 3rd and 4th stage patient
can get this.

• Taking Hormone Therapy with Progestin :
