Essay about The Comradeship of War in All Quiet on the...
The Comradeship of War in All Quiet on the Western Front
War can destroy a young man mentally and physically. One might say that nothing good comes
out of war, but in Remarque s All Quiet on the Western Front, there is one positive characteristic:
comradeship. Paul and his friends give Himmelstoss a beating in which he deserves due to his
training tactics. This starts the brotherhood of this tiny group. As explosions and gunfire sound off
a young recruit in his first battle is gun shy and seeks reassurance in Paul s chest and arms, and
Paul gently tells him that he will get used to it. The relationship between Paul and Kat is only
found during war, in which nothing can break them apart. The comradeship between soldiers at war
is what ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The training regimen awakens a sense of esprit de corps the group spirit shared by those in the
same group. Paul s battle with Himmelstoss shows a brighter side of warfare, which is
comradeship that develops in death defying situations. The value for comradeship is appreciated
more in the field when the men depend on each other to survive. Between missions Paul and Kat
take a moment to teach the young recruits. Kat s experience will teach the recruits to recognize the
type and size of shells by the sound. As incoming artillery begins, soldiers cry out and run for
cover. A young recruit finds himself in Paul s chest while Paul is trying to calm him from crying
and shaking. The comradeship between the recruit and Paul shows how soldiers take care of each
other. Without any hesitation at all Paul consoles the recruit as if he was his own son. Fellow
comrades have an automatic brotherhood when there lives depend one another.
Kat, the leader of the pack is also a father figure to Paul. One night Paul says to Kat, We don t
talk much, but I believe we have a more complete communion with one another than even lovers
have. This shows us how war can bring men together in peace. During the roasting of the goose
Kat s voice brings Paul peace and reassurance. Toward the end of the book Kat is killed, and for
Paul it is such a horrible loss. The only thing helping Paul survive was the brotherhood of his
friends. With Kat dead that is no longer possible.

Trauma
Dr. Jeanne Brooks (2015) stated that there are large amounts stress that is continuous and can
become a traumatic experience to a child. Stressful reaction produce chemicals that can negatively
impact neurological development. Some events that can traumatize a person some of these are:
divorce, death, abuse/neglect, disasters, accidents, and illness (Brooks, 2015). There are many
factors concerning how trauma affect a person and there spirituality can help in managing them
along with some other form of therapy. According to Brooks (2015), children are said to be
resilient and they are able to overcome traumatic events with little and sometime no impact.

Media Is The Marginal Space Between Technology And...
The scene progresses however and begins to zoom in on the men, now reseated at the table. The
inaccessibility of the corporate world is ruptured by a phone call in which Gibson relays the
information that the incident had been filmed. The cloister veil is rent by the intrusive eye of
media, and the camera angle zooms in to the conversation.
With the separate spheres outlined, closer attention can be given to the ways in which they interact
to contribute to fear. The technology industry of which Kimberly is a part is only one of the
technologies shown in the film, but it is perhaps the most critical (besides the reactor itself) to
human cause for fear. Media is the marginal space between technology and corporate interests, and

Kimberly is not given the hope for advancement, but is rather patronized and asked to remain in
her place. The second implication os of course that Jacovich is playing interference for Big
Energy and asking his subordinates to turn a blind eye to the unfolding news story, this occurring
only briefly after his discussion with Gibson. His dismissing Kimberly is shown fro over his
shoulder. Her face is to the right of the screen, and the back of his head occupies the left. From
this angle, corporate desires and influence literally overshadow true investigative purpose, and
her face is partially obscured from view. The next major indication of big media and
megacorporation collusion is when Kimberly opts to broadcast a piece on a local nuclear plant
protest. When Jacovich discovers her reporting on the protest, he is shown practically running
down a hallway at the station yelling about her betrayal. The camera was centered closely on him
and appeared to track from perhaps three feet in front. The angle was severely elevated as the
camera appeared to be very low to the ground. Jacovich s rage was clearly communicated through
the highly imposing angles which made him seem as if he were going to step through the
perspective at any moment and trample the viewer.
Throughout the duration of the film, ominous crosscuts are peppered liberally to continually
ratchet the tension and fear present in the viewer. The

Edward stood up from the table, walked a few paces towards the exit and placed a hand on
Tabitha s shoulder. He turned and stared at the men and women seated in front of him. I must
take my leave, Edward said. I trust you all know what to do as we begin our reelection campaign,

How is this going to advance liberty? Banks will no longer be able to loan with reckless
abandon, and create money out of thin air; it will be the end of easy credit that ensnares people
in the grip of the federal government. Without that centralized authority, the federal government
will forfeit its grip over monetary policy. Currency will stand on its own. How so? I mean, there
ll still be a central government; you re just clipping its wings a little more. There will still be
currency, it s just gonna be linked to a value that s not grounded in full faith and credit of the

something real. Sage lifted his head and unleashed a tremendous belly laugh. Ah, yes, that s what

City Council Case Study
Attending the last City Council meeting in University City reminded how petty and vile people
can be. Implored to attend by a couple of well heeled politicians, a not so representative group of
U City residents took turns attacking our mayor, Shelley Welsch. It would be good to remember
that Mayor Welsch ran virtually unchallenged in her bid for a second term as Mayor. During her
previous bid for mayor she defeated Councilman Crow. In a recent Post article, distinctions
between human error and an entirely different intentional act, such as the email communication
sent from Crow to the representative of the IAFF (International Association of Firefighters) which
is suing the City were omitted. With the help of Council members Carr and Crow, the Post has
attributed a number of negatives to U City, including the functioning of our Council. There are 6
Council members in U City and 4 of them often, though not exclusively, vote the same way our
mayor does. According to a speaker at last Monday s meeting, those four are controlled by the
mayor. This is what Carr and Crow want people to believe. Does that sound reasonable? One is an

Prevalence, pathology and associated risk factors for Dictyocaulus filaria infection among
slaughtered sheep.
Introduction
Sheep are an important part of the global agricultural economy. Domestic sheep provide a wide
array of raw materials. Wool is one of the first textiles although in the late 20th century wool prices
began to fall as the result of the popularity and cheap prices for synthetic fabrics . Sheep meat and
milk are the earliest staple proteins consumed by human civilization after the transition from
hunting and gathering to agriculture. Byproducts from the slaughter of sheep are also of value;
sheep tallow can be used in candle and soap making while, sheep bone and cartilage has been used
to furnish carved items such as dice and buttons .
Parasitic nematodes cause diseases of major economic importance in sheep .The lungworm ,
Dictyocaulus filaria , represents one of these nematodes inhabits bronchi and bronchioles and
cause parasitic bronchitis (commonly known as husk) particularly in young sheep ( Holzhauer et
al., 2011). Dictyocaulus filaria has direct life cycle, embryonated eggs are coughed up or
swallowed and hatch in the small intestine then first stage larvae are passed in faeces. Under
favorable environmental conditions, first stage larvae moult to second stage larvae and then
infective en sheathed third stage larvae that actively move from faeces to herbage and are ingested
by the grazing sheep. Following ingestion, third stage larvae ex sheath in

The Effects Of New Technology On The Agricultural Sector...
Introduction Massey University has been presented with a world first robotic device that is said to
revolutionize the milking industry process, addressed to Associate Professor Bridges.
Technological advancement has transformative effects within the agricultural sector of dairy
farming in New Zealand. This review will be looking specifically at the effects of new technology
which could revolutionise milking on dairy farms through the use of robots milking cows in situ in
the paddocks. To explore the change issues related to this, this review explores its potential effects
on labourers within the farming sector, farm managing change, the relationship between farmer and
animal (farmer cow), impact on current farming practices, and costs versus return on investment
into new technology. The study of the topics at hand are of importance, as critically assessing and
informing technological innovation processes, and to assess if both cows and farmers will lead
better and healthier lives or is the current information on automated milking systems merely formed
from consultants sales pitch (Drissen.C Heutinck.L.H.M 2014)? There is however during the
research process it was revealed that there is a sever lack of literature on robotic milking of cows
when in situ, studies into this should be conducted to further this product. Technological
advancements and its effects Neil Postman (1998) looks at technological change and its social
effects, he suggests for every advancement

Richard Feyman Research Paper
Richard Feynman
What would you say if you could be a person that changed the way we understand the world around
us with new understandings of quantum mechanics? A person that became more than just a
renowned physicist and teacher, but became an icon. Well that person was Richard Feynman.
During his lifetime, he became one of the most well known scientist in the world. Feynman not only
made many contributions to the world of quantum physics, but was also held in high regards for his
amazing ability to teach. Feynman was known to be able to make very complex things easy to
understand. Feynman was described as a very unconventional person. No matter what he was
doing he always brought his funny/different personality with him. So what was Feynman s life
like? Where did he develop his compassion and skill for mathematics and physics? What
accomplishments did he achieve in his life? Feynman was born on May 11, 1918 in Queens, New

It s so boring . Those were the last words of Feynman before he sadly passed away on February
15, 1988. A little over a year before his death, Feynman developed two rare types of cancer. The
first type of cancer Feynman developed was Liposarcoma. Liposarcoma is a cancer that arises in
fat cells in deep tissues. The second was Waldenstroms Macroglobulinemia which effects white
blood cells, specifically B cells. Feynman s last big wish was to visit the land of Tuva in Russia.
Unfortunately, due to the Cold War, a visit to Russia was proven to be quite problematic.
Feynman would not receive permission for the visit from Russia until after his passing. Soon after
his death, his daughter would go on to make the trip to Russia in honor of her late father s dying
wish. When word got out about the passing of Feynman it sent a shockwave across the nation and
the world. Feynman had grown to be a very famous icon and a renowned physicist, speaker, and

The Elections of 1948 and 2004 Essay
The Elections of 1948 and 2004
The elections of 1948, and 2004 had many similarities. In both elections we had the two major
political parties, plus a third independent party. We had a war going on, polls trying to predict the
election, and two main candidates working on getting elected. The elections did have some
differences though. Money spent, mediums campaigned through, and the number of votes for the
third party. Despite the differences, there was one main similarity that stood out between the two
elections, the type of rhetoric used to sway votes from both sides.
In the election of 1948 Thomas Dewey rarely gave any plans, and even more rarely would he ever
try to tell us why he would make a better president than ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In his second attempt, he ran against incumbent President Truman. It may have been his second
attempt, but it was the first attempt by pollers to predict the outcome of a presidential election. The
polling agencies were quite sure Truman would be defeated. It could be that the polls were
totally wrong, or perhaps the polls effected the campaigns in an unexpected way. We do know
that the campaign of Dewey was effected by the polls. Since they showed him so far ahead,
Dewey did little in the way of campaigning. His running mate was so dissatisfied with the lack of
campaigning he was quoted as saying, Just once, I d like to call someone an S.O.B. ( 1948: The
Great Truman Surprise ) Towards the end of the campaign though, the polls showed the gap
closing, but everyone figured it was too little too late. The Chicago Tribune even had printed its
paper with a headline proclaiming Dewey s victory.
The campaign although almost nonexistent, did still have a few of interesting propaganda
pieces. The first of which, the least persuasive one, was a simple pin on button with a giant H on
the left side to form the words Help Harry Hurry Home. There really are no persuasive words here
at all. Instead, it is more of a bandwagon/rally phrase, so it would loosely fit into the category of
pathos. Next would again be a pin. It read Don t be an vote for Dewey ( Collecting Thomas E.

Eugenics Movement During The Early 1900 s
The eugenics movement was a very influential movement in America that was very prevalent
during the early 1900 s. The premise of the eugenics movement was that society could be
scientifically improved by classifying ranking members of society and trying to prevent those who
were ranked low from reproducing. The eugenicsmovement was born out of the desire for the
upper and middle classes of society to try and prove, scientifically, that they were superior to
those who were in the lower classes. The people who typically made up the lower classes were
usually immigrants and those who were of a different race. Eugenics was essentially the method
that was used to try and exert control over the lower classes while validating the idea that those in
the upper and middle classes were superior. The concept of trying to use... Show more content on

However, there were definitely a lot of moments where the eugenics movement seemed to be more
concerned with proving past prejudices rather than actually looking for ways to improve future
generations. All of the Craniometry tests and IQ tests seemed to be more concerned with proving
what America already believed: that it was the superior group of people. The idea that these
classifications of people could help produce a better society is the main part of the eugenics
movement that seemed to be the most forward looking. The Fitter Families contests Selden
discusses are a good example of the eugenics movement attempting to be more focused on the future
(Selden 2005, 221). Even with this focus on the future, it still seemed as though the eugenics
movement was concerned with fixing the mistakes of the past. While the eugenics movement may
have been started under the premise of improving the future, a lot of it seemed to be heavily
influenced by the

A life without spiritual wellness is like traveling without a destination; because there are no
expectations or a sense of guidance. Spiritual wellness is one of the three strongest dimensions
of wellness in my life. Spiritual wellness is primarily one of my strongest because its one that
influences my purpose of life and plays a very intricate part in my daily routines. For example, I
m a very religious person who practices Christianity which helps me boost my spiritual wellness.
Christianity allows me to build my faith in God and to follow his beliefs and principles. As a
result of reading my bible and learning religious principles overtime my morals will reflect this
for the good of others. For example, just as good Samaritans in the bible gave to those in need, I
have learned to give back to my community through participating in the AmeriCorps Vista
program which is a volunteer program whereby people can do community service. The
opportunity of providing this community service also gave me the chance to give to the poor.
Participating in such events requires a person to posses a sense of love, and compassion which
are some the key characteristics of a spiritually well person. Furthermore, since I have discovered
Christianity, my life has been full of purpose, guidance, love, joy, compassion, and the ability to
give. According to Galatians chapter five and

A few protesters wore masks and threw rocks at the police. The police then used tear gas to bring

Maduro said that those who incite violence in the city will be prosecuted as per the law.
In view of the recent events, he said that he will withdraw immunity protections from politicians, so
that the suspected coup plotters in parliament could be prosecuted by courts.
Maduro told the rally of supporters, who also took to the streets, that the opposition wants to carry

his late predecessor Hugo Chavez.

The Boer War and its Effects on the South African People...
Nations constantly get put through tests and challenges. They can be as small and unaffecting, or
they can be enormous and have physical and emotional injuries on the nation s citizens. However,
no matter the size, problems have consequences. The Boer War, a trifling affair that spans over a
course of twenty two years, 1880 1902, also known as the Transvaal War and the South African
War, has good and bad everlasting effects on the people of South Africaby the deterioration of the
Boers and Afrikaners and the forcefully implied English rule.

exemplified in the Boer War camps. These concentration camps were more prominent in the guerilla

Erikson s Theory Of Psychosocial Development
My Reflection of Erikson Erik Erikson was a developmental psychologist known for his theory
of psychosocial development. Unlike other theorists of his time Erikson s theory focused on
human development across the lifespan from birth to late adulthood. Erikson believed that
development change occurs throughout our lives in eight distinctive stages that emerge in a
fixed pattern and are similar for all people. Erikson argued that each stage presents a crisis or
conflict which results in either a positive or negative outcome (Feldman p.16). In this essay I
will identify incidents in my own life that demonstrate each stage of development according to
Erikson that I have lived through. I will also interview my Aunt Tami, who will share her
experiences for the remainder of the stages of Erikson s development that I have not gone
through thus far. Erikson s first stage of development is the Trust versus Mistrust stage that
occurs from birth till 18 months of life. According to Erikson this is the period in which infants
develop a sense of trust or mistrust, depending largely on how well their caregivers meet their
needs (Feldman p. 187). During this stage of my life I was being taken care of by both Mom and
Dad, but primarily by Mom. My Mom was a stay at home parent while my Dad worked. Both my
parents went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed food, shelter, clothes and
most importantly love and affection. Through my positive experience in this stage I developed

The Common Rule and Human Research Essay
Human research done in the United States nowadays is regulated by the Common Rule. The
Common Rule is a policy on the topic of Human Subject Protection created by a number of agencies
specifically the National Commission for the Protection of Human Subjects for Biomedical and
Behavioral Research developed in 1974 to address detection of serious maltreatment of human
subjects from the Syphilis Study at Tuskegee (Iltis, 2011). Some key requirements of the Common
Rule are: assuring compliance by research institutions, obtaining and documenting informed
consent, Institutional Review Board(IRB) membership, function, operations, review or research,
and record keeping. It included additional safeguards for vulnerable subjects such as pregnant...

One should also recognize the possibility of other potential reviewing entities. St. Francis must
approve all proposals without any exceptions if human subject or animals are involved. All
students must have a faculty member sponsoring the research in order to supervise the student s
proposal. If the research proposal has been reviewed by any other entity a copy needs to be with
the proposal to St. Francis University s IRB. Although the IRB reviews all research involving
humans there are review categories that research may be eligible for if the Principal Investigator (

Essay How to Tame a Wild Tongue
Natalie Gonzalez 3/14/2007 Gloria Anzaldua, author of the article How to tame a Wild Tongue ,
expresses very strong views on how she feels her native Chicano Spanish language needs to be
preserved in order to maintain cultural unity when used as a private form of communication. Her
statement, for a people who cannot identify with either standard (formal, Castilian) Spanish, nor
standard English, what recourse is left to them but to create their own language? suggests that
despite the societal pressures of needing to learn more formal and В‘properly accepted English and
Spanish, the very nature of the Chicano language is a unique creation of acceptance, through

The English language is universal. It has very set rules, forms and functions. The Chicano
language at best represents a personal story, a private communication that is not understandable
or even acceptable by non chicanos. By contrast, Richard Rodriquez, in his article entitled Aria ,
strongly believes in surrendering to learning the proper English language, despite how strongly
he feels his native tongue is a private language that once functioned to unite his family.
Rodriguez creates a division of a public and a private discourse. He feels that he has a В‘right to
learn the public language of los gringos . He creates a visual clash of two worlds: a public world
as represented by school and the need to learn English; and a private world as represented by his
family and the use of Spanish within the home. He feels that in order to adapt and create
assimilation that he needs to abandon the comfort of using Spanish to communicate and force
himself to learn English В– even if it meant alienating his family members. He does not believe as
Anzaluda does that you have to create your own language if you cannot identify with more formal
forms of acceptance. Although he admits it is heartbreaking to have shared fewer words with his
parents because of the language barrier, he thinks his choice in learning and practicing English was
necessary. In fact, the more he learned

Kohlberg s Moral Development Theory
Whenever Billy or his girlfriend ask Ashley to do her chores such as cleaning her room or
cleaning the table, she wants to know what is in it for her? They usually give her sticker or let

point of view that, she looks for her benefit or reward put her in Stage 2 of level 1(Pre

Moral Development is based on the reasoning. Pre conventional level is based on the physical
consequences of an act. Reasoning and actions in pre conventional governed by the standards of
others like punishment for stage 1 or reward for stage 2, not internalized standards. Ashley s
mother told Billy that, she used to time out Ashley for not listening to her and it was work great

avoid punishment. She is in stage 2 right now. Stage two (self interest driven) expresses the what

The mouth does both mechanical digestion and chemical digestion. Mechanically, your incisors cut
food into small pieces, next your canines make the food pieces even smaller, than premolars and
molars crush and grind the food, finally saliva moistens the food to a slippery mass. Saliva contains
enzymes which speed the chemical reaction in the body, this part is the chemical digestion. Your
mouth is the first in your digestive system.
Your esophagus connects your mouth to your stomach. It is made of smooth muscle that pushes
your food to the stomach and is lined with mucus that makes food be easier to swallow and move
along. Food stays in your esophagus for about 10 seconds and is located in your throat.
The stomach is located in the abdomen and mechanically and chemically break down food.
Mechanically, three strong layers of muscles contract and turn your food. Chemically, the lining in
the stomach produces digestive juice that digests proteins with an enzyme called pepsin. It also
produces hydrochloric acid that pepsin works best in and it kills bacteria in your food. Your

The Race Towards Independence Of The 1770 S
Cambria Beatty Linder
Dr. Scotti
History 201
2016. February 14
The Race Towards Independence In the 1770 s, Great Britain established a number of colonies in
North America. The Americans thought of themselves as citizens of Great Britain and subjects of
King George III. Over the span of ten years, Great Britain has experienced deterioration in their
relationship with the thirteen colonies. There were numerous factors that came into play in relation
to the conflict such as the Navigation Acts and Colonial Legislatures, which eventually led to the
Revolutionary War of April 1776. What started out as a minor conflict concluded with a war for
Independence. It all started when the British went to war with the French also known as the French
and Indian War. Following their victory in the French and Indian War in 1763, Great Britain took
control of the French holdings in North America, outside the Caribbean. The British sought to
maintain peaceful relations with those Indian tribes that had allied with the French, and keep them
separated from the American frontiersmen. To this end, the Royal Proclamation of 1763 restricted
settlement west of the Appalachian Mountains as this was designated an Indian Reserve.
Disregarding the proclamation, some groups of settlers continued to move west and establish farms.
The proclamation was soon modified and was no longer a hindrance to settlement, but the fact that
it had been promulgated without their prior consultation angered the colonists

The Code Of Chivalry Value Honesty, Honor, Valor, And Loyalty
The knightly code of chivalry value honesty, honor, valor, and loyalty; however, each era adapt
and manipulate the code. The dark ages of King Arthur adopted the code along with the conduct
aligned with the Christian religion. Knightly chivalry is means to fear God serve, pledge your
loyalty to their lord, live honorable, tell the truth, respect women, never refuse a challenge,
eschew unfairness, meanness, and deceit, protect the weak and defenseless, and it goes on

On average, babies cry a total of two to three hours a day, according to mayoclinic.org.
Ender Wiggin exceeds that amount greatly. Throughout the book Ender cries many times, but in

out of his two other siblings, both of them failed to pass into the International Fleet, but for Ender
he passed. Training hard in battle school, resulted in defeating the Buggers. Ultimately, he still
ended up crying. Obviously the book is extremely better than the movie because of one main
reason, the movie left out key components that juiced up the story, that allowed the viewer/reader to
get hooked into the story. That is why the book is better than the movie.

jumped past many struggles Ender had undergone while working his way up the standings. It
seemed he was more gifted in the movie than in the book where it took doubling up practice to

back at Earth with Valentine and Peter. It never showed or referred to Ender s siblings at all after
the beginning of the movie. It did not even say anything about Peter, and how he has taken over the

Little Foxes Analytical Essay
Every play written uses dramatic elements. The main dramatic elements are plot, character, theme,
and language. Lillian Hellman, who wrote the Little Foxes, incorporates these elements beautifully
in her play. The play is set during the spring of 1900 and takes place in the Deep South part of the
United States of America. Just as every other play, the Little Foxeshas included the dramatic
elements in her play, particularly the plot, character, and language that all incorporate an underlying
theme of greed.
The character, which includes the physiological and psychological makeup of each person in the
play, properly incorporated the greed and oppression of the time. Ben and Oscar are brothers who

There were also two servants in the house, whose parts although small, added a real sense of the
racial conflict of the time. These characters were perfectly created with their physiological and
psychological attributes that added the extra tension for the time. Horace and Regina also had a
daughter. Her name was Alexandra. Her character was also built really well, except that she was
too passive and did not react as well as she should have while Regina mentally destroyed Horace.
Lastly, there is the brief appearance of the character named Mr. Marshall. This character although
very small was created extremely well. Just like Ben and Oscar, he had only one thing on his
mind. Although his ulterior motive was greed, he hid that very well while he pretended to have a
good time making friends with the family. Then when it came down to business, he was very keen
and right to the point. Greed.
Not only are the characters created exceptionally well, but the plot of the Little Foxes was also
very beautifully planed out and written with the underlying theme of greed showing up throughout
it. This is a major strength of the play. This play takes place in a little picturesque home in the
South of the US with a prosperous but oppressive family during the spring of 1900. This is where
the tension starts to build. The play starts out with a family gathering. The audience finds out at the
end of this gathering that Ben s ambition is to erect a

Professionalism Definition
I have an extremely broad definition for professionalism. Overall, I believe that professionalism is
a multidimensional term that refers to many ideal qualities associated with respectable,
professional individuals. These individuals have chosen to conduct themselves in the best ways
possible in all areas related to their career and work. In my opinion, individuals exhibit
professionalism when they are highly self disciplined, competent, experienced, and well mannered.
In addition to this, I believe professionalism refers to those that are good decision makers and
individuals that strongly adhere to ethical guidelines. I believe the term also characterizes those

First, I will sincerely strive to adhere to the ethical guidelines associated with my professional
career. Ethical guidelines may seem easy to follow initially, but my experiences while interning
have shown me that it could become difficult to follow these guidelines in situations where
morals contradict with the ethical guidelines of the organization. For example, there have been
times at Rogers County Youth Services where the youth have tried to give me a hug when I
leave. From a moral standpoint and my Christian faith, I strive to be a caring, loving person in
all my social interactions. I try to display this when deemed appropriate to be an encouraging
presence in a dark place. Therefore, it may seem odd for one such as myself to deny a hug from a
youth that has been ripped from their family due to neglect and/or abuse. However, Rogers County
Youth Services made me sign an ethical contract that specifically stated that I was restricted from
hugging any of the residents in the shelter no matter what. Although my moral compass may lead
me to disregard this statement in certain extreme scenarios, I have an obligation to conduct myself
in an ethical, professional manner while interning. I believe this is an excellent rule at the shelter
because it protects the individual and the organization from a wide variety of repercussions that
could result from hugging a resident. Nonetheless, it is a rule that could be challenging for many
to follow in situations where a young victim of abuse is asking for a

Significance Of The Mustard Seed Parable
Significance of the Growing Seed and Mustard Seed Parables
The growing and mustard seed parables expound upon the soils parable provided earlier in the
book of Mark. Once the suitability of the soils is described, the human and divine roles in the
process of growing the kingdom of God are interpreted. Subsequently the inevitable harvest and
abundant growth of the kingdom of God is depicted.
Human Responsibility
As described in the growing seed parable, the sower has no divine identity in the text. This is
evidenced with the use of the term used, man , and the activity, or the lack of activity, by the
sower after the seed is spread upon the ground. The sower is described as sleeping during the
night and displays no activity during the day toward the seed (4:27). The lack of divine identity
of the sower is also evidenced with the provision that as the seed begins to grow, he himself does
not know how (4:27). It is not logical to argue that an omniscient God would not understand how a
seed would grow. Notwithstanding, it is logical to determine that a human sower does not ... Show

Jesus connects the inevitable growth of the seed by the power of God in preceding parable and
the growth of the mustard. The growth of the mustard seed is symbolic of the spread of God s
word and the growth of the kingdom. Though at the time of the parable being taught the kingdom
would seem minuscule to the small rag tag group of disciples, inevitably the kingdom would grow
to a glorious stature with the climax arriving at Christ s second coming when the kingdom
surpasses all others in power, glory, and majesty . The mustard seed displays the small beginnings
of the kingdom, something the disciples being taught by Jesus would recognize, into the picture of
the inevitable eschatological victory of

The Dissolution Of Marriage Bonds
The dissolution of marriage bonds in the society today is no longer an issue spoken in hushed
tones behind doors as in previous times. Statistics have indicated an increasing rate of divorce in
countries like Belgium and Chile as being very high and only a few places like the Philippines
depict low rates (Kittleson, et.al, 2005). It is on account of these developments that we seriously
ponder and guess on what really caused the sudden rise. Is it a problem with the individual or is it
society s drawback?
It is commonly quotes that half of the marriages that exist today end up in divorce. Taking the
example of Canada, latest studies have found that four in ten first marriages end in divorce
(cbc.ca, 2015). What has drawn attention is not just the figures but it is the comparison between
the present and the past figures and the rate with which they are rising (Kittleson,et.al, 2005).
Divorce indeed has existed over many generations. The reasons given for divorce in society have
not really changed much but have only become more complicated because of the societal
dynamics. While pursuing solutions to this issue, strategies have been laid out just like that
applied to many other problems . Such is the case that various professionals who include
researchers, scholars, sociologist s and many others have made attempts to figure out what exactly
is the source to divorce. Here, the big question is whether it is a problem with society or with the

even further by adding discount stores. But, in 1975, taking on expansion too quickly almost
caused the company to file bankruptcy. To prevent going bankrupt, the company decided to scale
back on the number of unprofitable outlets by closing or selling them. Then in the late 70 s the
business began to make a comeback. It grew rapidly so much so that the company had fifty three
superstore by 1983 and thirty seven smaller electronic stores (Romero, 2013, p. 32). According to
Hart, Matulich, Rubinsak, Sheffer, Vann, and Vidalon (2012), In 1984, Wards changed its
corporate name to Circuit City Stores, Inc. and became publicly traded on the New York Stock

Section BSome characteristics of those who have a single preference follow: e.g.
Those who have a single preference have a number of stances. They may choose to use only their
preferred mode for making major decisions and for learning. They say they are indecisive and
confused when information comes to them in other modes. Having made their decisions using just
one mode, they may be less confident that it is the right one than those who have used many modes

Theme Of Religion In The Epic Of Gilgamesh
An obviously dominant, yet pertinent theme found within The Epic of Gilgamesh is that of
religion. Although seemingly general, religion is important in examining the historical details
which allow this time period to be distinguishable from that of others, e.g. the first post diluvian
dynasty (15) flood versus the genesis or biblical flood. Furthermore the creation of a hierarchy, or
kingship, is based on the believe that kingship was let down from heaven (14). Hence Gilgamesh
himself, believed he was a product of divine creation, demonstrating how at this time it was believed
divine intervention manifested itself into physical form, establishing a kingship society
surrounding polytheistic ideals. These ideals are exemplified by the

Christmas In Kalahari
Eating Christmas in the Kalahari is an anthropological study conducted on the !Kung Bushmen
society by Richard Lee. Lee lived among the !Kung for three years to learn more about their
hunter gatherer society. In this essay, I intend to analyze Lee s research and validate the reasoning
for the !Kung s criticism towards Lee s generous offer of the ox.
The !Kung are a society within the Kalahari Desert in Botswana, Africa. They are an egalitarian
society, meaning that there is no leader, chief or president that dictates the decisions made on
behalf of the society as a whole. The major decisions for the !Kung are made by the elders of the
society and all members are viewed and treated as equals. The !Kung are also a hunter gatherer
society. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The !Kung s idea of the Christmas story essentially boiled down to praising the birth of white
man s god chief. The !Kung had very little interest in the holiday besides the Tswana Herero
custom of slaughtering an ox for their Bushmen neighbors as a gesture of goodwill. Since the
1930 s, part of the Bushmen s annual round of activities has included a December congregation at
the cattle posts for trading, marriage brokering and several days of trance dance feasting at which
the local Tswana headman is host.
*Lee went to Botswana to visit the !Kung society in order to study their hunting and gathering
subsistence economy. In order to accomplish this, it was essential for Lee not to intrude on their
hunter gatherer system by providing them with food, sharing his food or interfere with their food
gathering activities in any way. However, scarce handouts of tobacco and medical supplies were
appreciated, they were scarcely adequate to erase the glaring disparity
in wealth between the rich anthropologist who maintained a two month inventory of canned goods
and the Bushmen who rarely had a day s supply of food on

The Mission Statement Of Coca Cola
Does Coca Cola s website match its mission statement?
Mission statements are important because they show an organisation s purpose. It is important for
companies to have a strong mission statement because a strong mission statement brings your
essence into focus so it is crystal clear who you are, what you do, and why you do it.
(MissionStatements.com, n.d.). Therefore, it is important that a company s website reflects its
mission statement because the site could be a first point of reference both for consumers and
stakeholders. Coca Cola s mission statement is To refresh the world. To inspire moments of
optimism and happiness. To create value and make a difference. and the company states that It
declares our purpose as a company and serves as the standard against which we weigh ... Show

As I mentioned previously, the website has an awards section stating that Coca Cola was awarded
the Best Global Initiative for Women s Economic Empowerment by the Women in Leadership
Economic Forum in 2014. In the awards, ratings and rankings section it is also revealed that Coca
Cola was rated 100% by the Human Rights Campaign s Corporate Equality Index. Many of these
awards and ratings allude to Coca Cola making a difference and hence reflect the company s
mission statement. The website also has a page title Giving Back . This page details the charitable
work done by Coca Cola and its foundation stating that since 1984 The Coca Cola Foundation has
given back more than $820 million to enhance the sustainability of local communities worldwide
(coca colacompany.com, n.d.). This is an example of creating value and making a difference in the
lives of others, clearly reflecting the company s mission statement. Additionally the website also has
page showing the company s 2015 financial performance and achievements; which highlights the
value that Coca Cola can create for investors and

Fico Score Research Paper
There are a lot of different credit scores that you may see from your FICO scores, to your Credit
Karma score, to a score provided by your credit card. The three credit bureaus created
VantageScoreВ®, which is another credit system that produces credit scores and gives a letter
grade based on the numeric range. With all of these companies offering credit scores, how do you
know which one is right?
Unfortunately, there is no one right credit score. This is because you have several credit scores you
don t have just one credit score.
It s impossible to know which credit score your lender will use. Often, lenders rely on a FICO score
from TransUnion, Experian, or Equifax. But it s not fair to say that all other scores are FAKO
scores a ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
For example, your credit card company could include a free credit score on your monthly bill that
shows a 750 score based on TransUnion information but when you actual buy your TransUnion
score, you could see a score of 780. This would not be unusual.
As if that s not enough variation, you can also have different FICO scores between each of the
three credit agencies (TransUnion, Experian, and Equifax). If your FICO scores vary significantly
from each of the agencies, it is likely that the underlying information on your credit reports varies
in a significant way. If this is the case, check your credit reports to compare the information
between each of the agencies.
Because you can only get your FICO credit score by paying for it, you may want to rely on one
of the other methods of getting your credit score more frequently (such as through Credit Karma
or your credit card company). Not only that, but you don t know (and can t know) which score a
lender will look at. For these reasons, you may want to continue to monitor your non FICO scores.

The Chinese Civil War
The Chinese Civil War began in April 1927 and involved two Chinese groups with different
views on how the country should be ran. The first group were forces that were loyal to
Kuomintang also known as the KMT were Chinese Nationalists of the Republic of China led by
Chiang Kai Shek. The other group was the Communist Party of China also known as the CPC who
were led by Mao Zedong. The first major military campaign in the civil war was the Northern
Expedition which was fought from 1926 to 1928 the main purpose of the battle was to end the the

the KMT, the KMT had control over the area and arrested members of the CPC and executed
hundreds of them. The outcome of this was the KMT split into two wings, the right and the left
wing. The leader of the left wing was Wang Jinwei and Chiang Kai Shekbecame the leader of the
right wing.
The capture of Beijing happened in June 1928, the left wing of the KMT took control over beijing
from the CPC and then later handed on the the leader of the right wing Chiang. The Second Sino
Japanese War started in 1937 and went to 1945. Chiang kai Shek did not want to join forces with
the CPC to fight the japanese, Chiang believed that the CPC were a greater threat than Japan was.
Chiang wanted to first get rid of the war lords scattered around china and

The War Between Mexico And The United States Essay
Following eleven years of struggle, Mexico finally achieved its independence from Spain in
September of 1827. Yet over the next 40 years, Mexico would see nearly half of its lands lost from
circumstances both in its control and those that were not. Fundamental in the structuring of the
events that occurred were the altercations between Mexicoand the U.S., chiefly speaking the
cessation of Texasfrom Mexico, the war between Mexico and the United States, and the Gadsden
Purchase. These proceedings crippled an already weakened nation, and set in motion a tortuous path
for the nation that still exists to this very day. The internal and external strife from these three
events left Mexico s ties with the United States diminished, a long lasting alienation of Mexican
Americans within the U.S. boundaries, its people torn asunder by the continuance of combat, both
abroad and on its native soil.
Mexico had many difficulties in beginning its life as a new nation, much the same as the United
States did when it achieved independence from England. Freed from the bondage of colonized
society, Mexico was eager to commerce in the capitalistic idealisms as seen in American societies.
As such, Mexico invited American citizens into its new republic in order to learn how to
industrialize, infuse American spirit into its domain, and open channels of commerce with its north
American brethren. Had the venture succeeded, this would have brought to Mexico the
infrastructure it required to maintain

  • 2. Essay about The Comradeship of War in All Quiet on the... The Comradeship of War in All Quiet on the Western Front War can destroy a young man mentally and physically. One might say that nothing good comes out of war, but in Remarque s All Quiet on the Western Front, there is one positive characteristic: comradeship. Paul and his friends give Himmelstoss a beating in which he deserves due to his training tactics. This starts the brotherhood of this tiny group. As explosions and gunfire sound off a young recruit in his first battle is gun shy and seeks reassurance in Paul s chest and arms, and Paul gently tells him that he will get used to it. The relationship between Paul and Kat is only found during war, in which nothing can break them apart. The comradeship between soldiers at war is what ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The training regimen awakens a sense of esprit de corps the group spirit shared by those in the same group. Paul s battle with Himmelstoss shows a brighter side of warfare, which is comradeship that develops in death defying situations. The value for comradeship is appreciated more in the field when the men depend on each other to survive. Between missions Paul and Kat take a moment to teach the young recruits. Kat s experience will teach the recruits to recognize the type and size of shells by the sound. As incoming artillery begins, soldiers cry out and run for cover. A young recruit finds himself in Paul s chest while Paul is trying to calm him from crying and shaking. The comradeship between the recruit and Paul shows how soldiers take care of each other. Without any hesitation at all Paul consoles the recruit as if he was his own son. Fellow comrades have an automatic brotherhood when there lives depend one another. Kat, the leader of the pack is also a father figure to Paul. One night Paul says to Kat, We don t talk much, but I believe we have a more complete communion with one another than even lovers have. This shows us how war can bring men together in peace. During the roasting of the goose Kat s voice brings Paul peace and reassurance. Toward the end of the book Kat is killed, and for Paul it is such a horrible loss. The only thing helping Paul survive was the brotherhood of his friends. With Kat dead that is no longer possible. ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The inaccessibility of the corporate world is ruptured by a phone call in which Gibson relays the information that the incident had been filmed. The cloister veil is rent by the intrusive eye of media, and the camera angle zooms in to the conversation. With the separate spheres outlined, closer attention can be given to the ways in which they interact to contribute to fear. The technology industry of which Kimberly is a part is only one of the technologies shown in the film, but it is perhaps the most critical (besides the reactor itself) to human cause for fear. Kimberly is not given the hope for advancement, but is rather patronized and asked to remain in her place. The second implication os of course that Jacovich is playing interference for Big Energy and asking his subordinates to turn a blind eye to the unfolding news story, this occurring only briefly after his discussion with Gibson. His dismissing Kimberly is shown fro over his shoulder. Her face is to the right of the screen, and the back of his head occupies the left. From this angle, corporate desires and influence literally overshadow true investigative purpose, and her face is partially obscured from view. The next major indication of big media and megacorporation collusion is when Kimberly opts to broadcast a piece on a local nuclear plant protest. When Jacovich discovers her reporting on the protest, he is shown practically running down a hallway at the station yelling about her betrayal. The camera was centered closely on him and appeared to track from perhaps three feet in front. The angle was severely elevated as the camera appeared to be very low to the ground. Jacovich s rage was clearly communicated through the highly imposing angles which made him seem as if he were going to step through the perspective at any moment and trample the viewer. Throughout the duration of the film, ominous crosscuts are peppered liberally to continually ratchet the tension and fear present in the viewer. The ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Implored to attend by a couple of well heeled politicians, a not so representative group of U City residents took turns attacking our mayor, Shelley Welsch. It would be good to remember that Mayor Welsch ran virtually unchallenged in her bid for a second term as Mayor. During her previous bid for mayor she defeated Councilman Crow. In a recent Post article, distinctions between human error and an entirely different intentional act, such as the email communication sent from Crow to the representative of the IAFF (International Association of Firefighters) which is suing the City were omitted. With the help of Council members Carr and Crow, the Post has attributed a number of negatives to U City, including the functioning of our Council. There are 6 Council members in U City and 4 of them often, though not exclusively, vote the same way our mayor does. Introduction Sheep are an important part of the global agricultural economy. Domestic sheep provide a wide array of raw materials. Wool is one of the first textiles although in the late 20th century wool prices began to fall as the result of the popularity and cheap prices for synthetic fabrics . Sheep meat and milk are the earliest staple proteins consumed by human civilization after the transition from hunting and gathering to agriculture. Byproducts from the slaughter of sheep are also of value; sheep tallow can be used in candle and soap making while, sheep bone and cartilage has been used to furnish carved items such as dice and buttons . Parasitic nematodes cause diseases of major economic importance in sheep .The lungworm , Dictyocaulus filaria , represents one of these nematodes inhabits bronchi and bronchioles and cause parasitic bronchitis (commonly known as husk) particularly in young sheep ( Holzhauer et al., 2011). Introduction Massey University has been presented with a world first robotic device that is said to revolutionize the milking industry process, addressed to Associate Professor Bridges. Technological advancement has transformative effects within the agricultural sector of dairy farming in New Zealand. This review will be looking specifically at the effects of new technology which could revolutionise milking on dairy farms through the use of robots milking cows in situ in the paddocks. To explore the change issues related to this, this review explores its potential effects on labourers within the farming sector, farm managing change, the relationship between farmer and animal (farmer cow), impact on current farming practices, and costs versus return on investment into new technology. The study of the topics at hand are of importance, as critically assessing and informing technological innovation processes, and to assess if both cows and farmers will lead better and healthier lives or is the current information on automated milking systems merely formed from consultants sales pitch (Drissen.C Heutinck.L.H.M 2014)? There is however during the research process it was revealed that there is a sever lack of literature on robotic milking of cows when in situ, studies into this should be conducted to further this product. In both elections we had the two major political parties, plus a third independent party. We had a war going on, polls trying to predict the election, and two main candidates working on getting elected. The elections did have some differences though. Money spent, mediums campaigned through, and the number of votes for the third party. Despite the differences, there was one main similarity that stood out between the two elections, the type of rhetoric used to sway votes from both sides. We do know that the campaign of Dewey was effected by the polls. Since they showed him so far ahead, Dewey did little in the way of campaigning. His running mate was so dissatisfied with the lack of campaigning he was quoted as saying, Just once, I d like to call someone an S.O.B. ( 1948: The Great Truman Surprise ) Towards the end of the campaign though, the polls showed the gap closing, but everyone figured it was too little too late. The Chicago Tribune even had printed its paper with a headline proclaiming Dewey s victory. The campaign although almost nonexistent, did still have a few of interesting propaganda pieces. The first of which, the least persuasive one, was a simple pin on button with a giant H on the left side to form the words Help Harry Hurry Home. There really are no persuasive words here at all. • 12. Eugenics Movement During The Early 1900 s The eugenics movement was a very influential movement in America that was very prevalent during the early 1900 s. The premise of the eugenics movement was that society could be scientifically improved by classifying ranking members of society and trying to prevent those who were ranked low from reproducing. The eugenicsmovement was born out of the desire for the upper and middle classes of society to try and prove, scientifically, that they were superior to those who were in the lower classes. The people who typically made up the lower classes were usually immigrants and those who were of a different race. Eugenics was essentially the method that was used to try and exert control over the lower classes while validating the idea that those in the upper and middle classes were superior. All of the Craniometry tests and IQ tests seemed to be more concerned with proving what America already believed: that it was the superior group of people. The idea that these classifications of people could help produce a better society is the main part of the eugenics movement that seemed to be the most forward looking. The Fitter Families contests Selden discusses are a good example of the eugenics movement attempting to be more focused on the future (Selden 2005, 221). Christianity allows me to build my faith in God and to follow his beliefs and principles. The Boer War, a trifling affair that spans over a course of twenty two years, 1880 1902, also known as the Transvaal War and the South African War, has good and bad everlasting effects on the people of South Africaby the deterioration of the Boers and Afrikaners and the forcefully implied English rule. • 22. Erikson s Theory Of Psychosocial Development My Reflection of Erikson Erik Erikson was a developmental psychologist known for his theory of psychosocial development. Unlike other theorists of his time Erikson s theory focused on human development across the lifespan from birth to late adulthood. Erikson believed that development change occurs throughout our lives in eight distinctive stages that emerge in a fixed pattern and are similar for all people. Erikson argued that each stage presents a crisis or conflict which results in either a positive or negative outcome (Feldman p.16). In this essay I will identify incidents in my own life that demonstrate each stage of development according to Erikson that I have lived through. I will also interview my Aunt Tami, who will share her experiences for the remainder of the stages of Erikson s development that I have not gone through thus far. Erikson s first stage of development is the Trust versus Mistrust stage that occurs from birth till 18 months of life. According to Erikson this is the period in which infants develop a sense of trust or mistrust, depending largely on how well their caregivers meet their needs (Feldman p. 187). During this stage of my life I was being taken care of by both Mom and Dad, but primarily by Mom. My Mom was a stay at home parent while my Dad worked. February 14 The Race Towards Independence In the 1770 s, Great Britain established a number of colonies in North America. The Americans thought of themselves as citizens of Great Britain and subjects of King George III. Over the span of ten years, Great Britain has experienced deterioration in their relationship with the thirteen colonies. There were numerous factors that came into play in relation to the conflict such as the Navigation Acts and Colonial Legislatures, which eventually led to the Revolutionary War of April 1776. What started out as a minor conflict concluded with a war for Independence. It all started when the British went to war with the French also known as the French and Indian War. Following their victory in the French and Indian War in 1763, Great Britain took control of the French holdings in North America, outside the Caribbean. The British sought to maintain peaceful relations with those Indian tribes that had allied with the French, and keep them separated from the American frontiersmen. To this end, the Royal Proclamation of 1763 restricted settlement west of the Appalachian Mountains as this was designated an Indian Reserve. Disregarding the proclamation, some groups of settlers continued to move west and establish farms. The proclamation was soon modified and was no longer a hindrance to settlement, but the fact that it had been promulgated without their prior consultation angered the colonists ... This is evidenced with the use of the term used, man , and the activity, or the lack of activity, by the sower after the seed is spread upon the ground. The lack of divine identity of the sower is also evidenced with the provision that as the seed begins to grow, he himself does not know how (4:27). It is on account of these developments that we seriously ponder and guess on what really caused the sudden rise. Is it a problem with the individual or is it society s drawback? Interesting enough, this retail giant would eventually close its doors and become known to many as one of American retailings great failures (Romero, 2013, p. 31). The thought that this small Richmond based retailer would soon become a great success only to later end up as one of America s great retail failure. Wurtzel was an entrepreneur from New York. He was on his way to North Carolina on vacation, when he stopped in Richmond, Virginia to get a haircut. During a conversation between Wurtzel and the barber, he was told that the first television station had just opened less than a year ago in Richmond. Wurtzel, being an entrepreneur that he was, saw this as a great opportunity. During this time, there... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Later, Wurtzel decided to expand the business into discount stores (Romero, 2013, p. 31). Business was flourishing for Wards, that in 1961 the company decided to expand its business even further by adding discount stores. But, in 1975, taking on expansion too quickly almost caused the company to file bankruptcy. To prevent going bankrupt, the company decided to scale back on the number of unprofitable outlets by closing or selling them. Then in the late 70 s the business began to make a comeback. It grew rapidly so much so that the company had fifty three superstore by 1983 and thirty seven smaller electronic stores (Romero, 2013, p. 32). According to Hart, Matulich, Rubinsak, Sheffer, Vann, and Vidalon (2012), In 1984, Wards changed its corporate name to Circuit City Stores, Inc. and became publicly traded on the New York Stock Exchange (p. ... • 43. Theme Of Religion In The Epic Of Gilgamesh An obviously dominant, yet pertinent theme found within The Epic of Gilgamesh is that of religion. Although seemingly general, religion is important in examining the historical details which allow this time period to be distinguishable from that of others, e.g. the first post diluvian dynasty (15) flood versus the genesis or biblical flood. Furthermore the creation of a hierarchy, or kingship, is based on the believe that kingship was let down from heaven (14). Hence Gilgamesh himself, believed he was a product of divine creation, demonstrating how at this time it was believed divine intervention manifested itself into physical form, establishing a kingship society surrounding polytheistic ideals. These ideals are exemplified by the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 44. Christmas In Kalahari Eating Christmas in the Kalahari is an anthropological study conducted on the !Kung Bushmen society by Richard Lee. Lee lived among the !Kung for three years to learn more about their hunter gatherer society. In this essay, I intend to analyze Lee s research and validate the reasoning for the !Kung s criticism towards Lee s generous offer of the ox. The !Kung are a society within the Kalahari Desert in Botswana, Africa. They are an egalitarian society, meaning that there is no leader, chief or president that dictates the decisions made on behalf of the society as a whole. The major decisions for the !Kung are made by the elders of the society and all members are viewed and treated as equals. The !Kung are also a hunter gatherer society. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The !Kung s idea of the Christmas story essentially boiled down to praising the birth of white man s god chief. The !Kung had very little interest in the holiday besides the Tswana Herero custom of slaughtering an ox for their Bushmen neighbors as a gesture of goodwill. Since the 1930 s, part of the Bushmen s annual round of activities has included a December congregation at the cattle posts for trading, marriage brokering and several days of trance dance feasting at which the local Tswana headman is host. *Lee went to Botswana to visit the !Kung society in order to study their hunting and gathering subsistence economy. In order to accomplish this, it was essential for Lee not to intrude on their hunter gatherer system by providing them with food, sharing his food or interfere with their food gathering activities in any way. However, scarce handouts of tobacco and medical supplies were appreciated, they were scarcely adequate to erase the glaring disparity in wealth between the rich anthropologist who maintained a two month inventory of canned goods and the Bushmen who rarely had a day s supply of food on ... • 46. Fico Score Research Paper There are a lot of different credit scores that you may see from your FICO scores, to your Credit Karma score, to a score provided by your credit card. The three credit bureaus created VantageScoreВ®, which is another credit system that produces credit scores and gives a letter grade based on the numeric range. With all of these companies offering credit scores, how do you know which one is right? Unfortunately, there is no one right credit score. This is because you have several credit scores you don t have just one credit score. It s impossible to know which credit score your lender will use. Often, lenders rely on a FICO score from TransUnion, Experian, or Equifax. But it s not fair to say that all other scores are FAKO scores a ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... For example, your credit card company could include a free credit score on your monthly bill that shows a 750 score based on TransUnion information but when you actual buy your TransUnion score, you could see a score of 780. This would not be unusual. As if that s not enough variation, you can also have different FICO scores between each of the three credit agencies (TransUnion, Experian, and Equifax). If your FICO scores vary significantly from each of the agencies, it is likely that the underlying information on your credit reports varies in a significant way. If this is the case, check your credit reports to compare the information between each of the agencies. Because you can only get your FICO credit score by paying for it, you may want to rely on one of the other methods of getting your credit score more frequently (such as through Credit Karma or your credit card company). Not only that, but you don t know (and can t know) which score a lender will look at. For these reasons, you may want to continue to monitor your non FICO scores. Which Credit Score Should You ... • 48. The War Between Mexico And The United States Essay Following eleven years of struggle, Mexico finally achieved its independence from Spain in September of 1827. Yet over the next 40 years, Mexico would see nearly half of its lands lost from circumstances both in its control and those that were not. Fundamental in the structuring of the events that occurred were the altercations between Mexicoand the U.S., chiefly speaking the cessation of Texasfrom Mexico, the war between Mexico and the United States, and the Gadsden Purchase. These proceedings crippled an already weakened nation, and set in motion a tortuous path for the nation that still exists to this very day. The internal and external strife from these three events left Mexico s ties with the United States diminished, a long lasting alienation of Mexican Americans within the U.S. boundaries, its people torn asunder by the continuance of combat, both abroad and on its native soil. Mexico had many difficulties in beginning its life as a new nation, much the same as the United States did when it achieved independence from England. Freed from the bondage of colonized society, Mexico was eager to commerce in the capitalistic idealisms as seen in American societies. As such, Mexico invited American citizens into its new republic in order to learn how to industrialize, infuse American spirit into its domain, and open channels of commerce with its north American brethren. Had the venture succeeded, this would have brought to Mexico the infrastructure it required to maintain ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
